He pulled his stitches out because of doing this as had to go back and get them restitched! He really is the greatest showman! Got up and did it after his doctors told him he couldn’t! He’s amazing! I love Hugh Jackman!
That had to hurt like hell. You are badass as if you can do that and not skip a beat. If you notice he keeps touching his nose. he felt it bleeding but couldn't figure out where. He said that in an interview I saw.

Its like when Hugh started singing he lit a fire in all of them and as they sang it was reflected and magnified, as if they were each thinking "If Hugh, with 80 stitches in his nose can sing his heart out then we are going to sing our hearts out right along with him"

You could see it from the very beginning in Hugh's face. He didn't want to stay in silence any longer. This was his song he wanted to sing, and damn it, he stepped up and sang his heart out. Hugh truly is The Greatest Showman.
He popped like 10+ stitches singing this that he had to go get re-sutured. Him touching his nose near the end and at the end was to wipe away blood.
I'd thought I'd seen that. Can you confirm it or are you speculating?
If you go watch the actual video they're reacting to he says it. I'm actually surprised he held out til this song before he got caught up in it all.

The woman that was hitting those incredible high notes with the riffs ans runs is Cynthia Erivo. Shes the black one with the short hair. She won the Tony for Best Actress in a Musical last year for her performance in the Color Purple. You reeeeeeeeeally should react to her, youll be mesmerized.

So fun tip when Hugh was wiping at his nose he was actually wiping blood away. During the performance he busted some stitches in his nose and right after the workshop he had to go back to the doctor to get the stitches fixed. Hugh is amazing and puts such emotion in all of his performances. Amazing
That room was SHAKING with energy. I wish I could experience that in person!

If Hugh hasn't gotten a lifetime achievement award of some kind yet, he better be getting one soon. This man is a legend! When he entered show business, his original agent actually told him to shy away from any singing. They said it might make him too intimidating to work with.
100% agreed! He was so into it that *it got me hyped up too* (at the "my god it starts tonight!!!" I said (out loud) "heck yes it does" good thing I was alone that would've been embarrassing)

When I saw the movie and saw Hugh Jackman singing I was like WTF! And still at this day I still don’t understand how he came from Wolverine and now into a Singer OMG am I right!?
@@thepioneers4969 He was in broadway while he auditioned for wolverine, before he really got big in movies. I think Showman was much more his element over Les Miserables. Still, Hugh has an amazing voice. One of my favorite actors of all time!
