like that small room isnt big enough, it was going to explode with the passion and emotion
It's when she lets go, just before the camera pans away from Hugh, he looks up and gestures to the ceiling and you can tell he just broke right in that moment.

At this point they had been begging her to play that role. She agreed only to sing it for the soundtrack. They talked her into singing for the greenlight session. The entire time Hugh Jackman told the writing team to write a big show number specifically for Settles voice tho she had not agreed to the part. She felt she was only a stage actress and was afraid to take her big shot . But Jackman knew he wanted her and wouldn't take no for am answer . This is actually the point where she kinda agreed to play the role. This back story gives this moment and the movie even more meaning.

No she had been cast in the movie before it was greenlit... That was the second last song written and it wasn't originally for her.. she got the song in the rewrite but had always had the part.

You said exactly what I thought - After I watched this, I should've waited longer to see the movie because this video was incredible to watch Keala come into her own, and OWN the song and the entire energy of the room respond. The movie paled a bit. This is real life. I will watch the movie again, it was great, but the video brought me to tears and dancing at the same time.

If this made you get in your feels...watch Hugh Jackman performing From Now On with the cast at the greenlight presentation to studios. He was told NOT to sing...and he couldn't contain himself when it came to this song. Bring tissues.

The scene this song is feathered in is SO POWERFUL! They start in public and on the streets where people are calling them freaks screaming at them to go home, but half way through it changes to where they’re now preforming in front of an audience of people who are singing and clapping along with them. In the end, people loved them. They showed them who they truly are. Now that, that’s how you send a message.
Even though I'm not a big fan of musicals, this might be the most beautiful and moving music clips I have ever seen. The energy in that room is beyond amazing.

Soly Siren sad thing is disney needs an break doing original songs let some other artist do songs for them cuz this is why the greatest showman should of one because it actually has a true meaning the problem was there was an short before coco made coco won on purpose which Im a bit upset but I think Olaf's frozen adventure could of won it has an emotional feeling to that song than remember me and Coco isn't a musical it's made in Spanish so It was an musical im a bit mad this animated movie should save it for kids choice awards and yes why it has soo many awards than kealas song this is me cuz people been complaining the movie was too long we should say sorry to disney let the other short movie won with an amazing meaning ok
