8:08 The song is Dixieland Delight by the band Alabama. Nothing like hearing this song in Bryant-Denny Stadium on a Saturday night in the fall. Best atmosphere in college football. Also, I'll leave the lyrics to the song below. Actual lyrics in quotes. Added fan lyrics are noted.
    "Spend my dollar"
    Fans - ON BEER
"Parked in a holler 'neath the mountain moonlight"
    Fans - ROLL TIDE
    "Holdin her up tight"
    Fans - AGAINST THE WALL
    "Make a little lovin"
    Fans - ALL NIGHT
"Little turtle dovin on the Mason Dixon line"
    Fans - F*** AUBURN
    "It's my life"
    Fans - AND LSU
    "Oh so right"
    Fans - TENNESSEE TOO
    "My Dixieland delight"

9:39 I agree completely. Europe does so many things better than we do. But I do feel like the college sports culture that we have is something we do way better. Its kinda strange to me to think that you guys go to uni and don't have basketball and football games to go to. Those games, along with tailgating before them, celebrating after them...those were some of my best memories of college.

12:50 yes. In college basketball, if a player commits five fouls in a game, they're disqualified from the remainder of the game. They're still allowed to sit on the bench and the team doesn't go a man down, but they can no longer enter the game. We call it "fouling out." When an opposing player fouls out, the fans will chant left, right as the guy walks to the bench. Usually when he sits down, they all say "SEE YA!!!" My university does this too. Its just fun banter.

An earthquake was registered at an LSU game at Tiger Stadium. They ended up having to tell the band they couldn't play Neck, because the tv people didn't want to hear the students singing the really crude part (which you might not understand if you weren't there in person). PS, the LSU band, pre-game will give you chills. The band marches out on the field with just the drummers clicking their sticks on the drums until the whole band is on the field. Then the horns blare out four notes slowly while turning to each side and ends of the field, and then the pick up the pace and march quickly. It really gets the crowd going, and players are waiting in the tunnel to come out. They've often said it really hypes them up for the game just to hear those four notes. You ought to watch it, but turn the sound up loud.

18:53 Yes. Tom Petty was born in Gainesville (same city as the University of Florida), and I think that particular clip is from a tribute shortly after he died.
One of my favorite basketball bits that didn't make it into the video: Very often, when it's late in the shot clock and the home team has the ball, the crowd will count down the shot clock to help make sure they're aware of it. What's less common (because it requires a bit of coordination to make it work well) is what the Izzone (the Michigan State student section, named for the coach Tom Izzo) does: when the *other* team has the ball, they'll also count it down, but wrong (either a few seconds early or a few seconds late, and they'll change it up a few times throughout the game so the other team can't just adjust for it). It doesn't usually fool them, but every so often somebody gets got by it and either jacks up a panic shot when they still have five seconds on the shot clock or, much more amusingly, gets a shot clock violation without even being remotely aware of it until it's too late. They've even gotten the refs fooled a couple times. Here's a short clip where they got the opponent on back to back possessions: czcams.com/video/tOccaYCONWo/video.html

Even saw a Baylor player singing along as they broke the huddle from a timeout lol. Garth is an OSU grad and got his start playing the local bars in Stillwater. I got hurt pretty bad decades ago in a car accidents where a person ran a stop sign and another where I got rear ended at a yield sign. Anyway I was a pretty decent athlete back in the day and now cannot do much as compared to then. I had some extra money come in so I could attend the Nebraska/ Missouri *or Mizzou game. It was the last time Nebraska played Mizzou b4 we moved from the B12 to the b10. And it was a home game for Nebraska. I had to be in the disabled section but Man I had not felt that ALIVE since I got hurt in the car accidents. Carried me for weeks. My TEAM is Nebraska HUSKERS. They had a Flyover b4 the coin toss and it got so loud. It was GREAT!!! We beat Mizzou who was ranked 6th in the country and we were ranked 14th at the time. Score was 31-17 and one of our running backs set a new school record for most rushing yards in a game. He ran for 307 yards. Which was just 2 yds short of what our College Leading home game sell out streak was at that day of 309 home game sellouts. And Nebraska has sold out every home football game since we beat Mizzou back in 1962. Kind of amazing considering that teams have a hard time keeping teams from falling a bit when u have coaches retire.

Some of my best life moments were at University games. When your rival team rolls to town it is on a whole other level of intensity, and sometimes downright vicious heckling of the other team. Hi Kabir... you asked about the song that sounded "epic". The song is called Dixieland Delight and was a hit for the country band Alabama. This is being sung by the crowd at Alabama University. It is quite comical because the students interspersed their own lyrics in between the actual lyrics of the song. It is actually R rated in one section where the song pauses and the crowd chants "fuck LSU" and then there is some song and it pauses again and the crowd yells "and Tennessee too". Of course LSU (Louisiana State University) and Tennessee University are a couple of the arch rivals of Alabama. You can here that better if you watch the video of Dixieland Delight returns to Alabama.

Chicago really started the professional sports teams singing and have really made a tradition of it. "Na Na Hey Hey" by The Steam was the first in 1977 for the Chicago White Sox (MLB), "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" in the 7th Inning. Then came the Chicago Blackhawks fans cheering over the National Anthem (See the '91 NHL All Star Game for a sample). The Blackhawks fans are ranked among the top two or three for all the noise they make, including singing Chelsea Dagger when a goal is scored by them. The Cubs (MLB) use a song basically called "Go Cubs Go" which was on the highlights you showed. They have also gone to singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" co-opting it from their cross-town rivals. As far as I know the Chicago Bears (NFL) are the only one of the big four that do not sing at their games, though they are known for being a rowdy, noisy bunch that are supposed to be among the top fans for noise.

The University of Kansas clip (5:29) doesn't do that place justice. I do like how at the end of the clip you can hear the game's commentator go "Wow" in complete awe of the crowd noise and the guys calling that game go to work for ESPN. They call games at every venue in the nation, and had called games in Allen Fieldhouse before, so for them to still be in awe of the atmosphere speaks volumes to what it's like in that building. That game was a classic too Kansas pulling out the win in Overtime. It was the University of Kansas vs. Kentucky University. Currently the two winningest Men's college basketball programs in history. Kentucky is only ahead of Kansas by 4 games in that category too.
This isn't even the loudest that building has been. I think they said the crowd noise topped at or around 120 dbs. The loudest that building has recorded was 130.4 dbs. Which I believe is still the Guinness World Record for loudest indoor crowd roar.

I like at around 2.25 - the kids dressed as turkeys, the team's mascots. Ok, technically they're called, 'HokieBirds', but they're a kind of turkey. And if you'll note around 3.30, the crowd at Texas A&M (Agriculture & Mechanical), where everyone in the stadium is swaying (all 3 levels!) - there's a sign that says, 'Home of the 12th Man'. That means, of course, that the school regards everyone in the stands to be part of the team, part of the family. And yeah, at around 5.30 - my alma mater, Kansas University. They didn't invent basketball in Kansas (though the man who did invent it coached there), but they did perfect it. And, the fan base has a long memory - all around Lawrence, KS (where KU is located) are signs saying things like, 'beware of the Phogg), in reference to a memorable player who was there way back in the 1950s. If you make it to Kansas City, Lawrence is only about 40 miles away, so less than an hour's drive. I highly recommend you visit there, as well - catch a game if you can. Tickets range from about $75 - $200.

Okay, on the Nashville Predators hockey game towards the end of the video, what can I say about that atmosphere. So what they’re doing on the video, after we score a goal we scream “Goalie, goalie, goalie, YOU SUCK!” And if you can ever find a video, when someone gets out in the penalty box you chant, “You can’t do that!”
So much fun at a hockey game! Especially in “Smashville!”

24:00 some hockey crowds chant the goalies name and then yell you suck after they give up a goal. In this case, they are saying "Fleury, Fleury, Fleury, YOU SUCK!" after their Predators scored on Marc-Andre Fleury of the Penguins.
Edit: Or Murray because Matt Murray was the other goalie the Pens used those playoffs.

You can see me in the video at the 7:20 mark, I am the dude wearing crimson, heh. As for the song being played, it is Dixieland Delight by the country music group Alabama. Us Bama fans added some new lyrics, in between verses. The last three additions were after verse 1 "f*ck Auburn", then middle of verse 2 "and LSU", end of verse 2 "and Tennessee too". Those are our three biggest rivals. There are other added lyrics but those are the ones that kinda got us in trouble a little bit. They stopped playing it for a few years but enough of us griping at them, they finally brought it back but they try to drown it out using piped in pre-recording of "beat Auburn". That just made us yell "f*ck Auburn even louder.

I also love the enthusiasm that this video shows at smaller schools - a couple of the crowds here are listed as less than 7,500 people, but they're as committed to team spirit as the school with 150,000 in attendance. 'Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, hey-hey! Au revoir!' Pro soccer teams definitely need mascots like we have the US - I hate that the KC Wizards changed their name to Sporting KC. How does one dress as a, 'Sporting', to attend a match?

Alabama’s chant goes like this, it’s really funny. The song is Dixieland delight:
    Spend my dollar (on beer!)
Parked in a holler 'neath the mountain moonlight (roll tide!)
Holdin' her up tight (against the wall!)
Make a little lovin' (all night!)
A little turtle dovin' on a Mason Dixon night (F*ck Auburn!)
    It's my life (and LSU!)
Oh so right (and Tennessee too!)
    My dixieland delight
