Farquhar is very inventive. Although I think I heard someone mention the card choice is random I disagree, it was a force. The 2nd "sealed deck" in his pocket was opened from the bottom with a guide card allowing him to slip the signed card into proper position. The resealing of the deck is less slight of hand and more engineering really with the cellophane carefully arranged with adhesive to allow for a quick closing and reseal. I'm sure a great deal of practice was needed to master the quick tuck and fold required to make the cellophane look right, but he did it. You explained the rest pretty well.
hey guys thanks a lot for teaching me that trick, I've been looking all over for it and you guys did amazing at teaching. I didn't even notice a thing when you're doing the trick. exept for the part where you were forcing the card. But anyways well done and good job.
This isn't Sean Farquhar's trick. He had Penn sign the card and the signed card shows in the final deck. That's three degrees of difficulty harder. However, this is a reasonable trick that many people could do with some practice.
Oops forgot to look up the book trick, though I guessed at it on his channel and he took an interest to my comment, so I must be, at least, close. Spoke to him for a bit.
CrispyGamer that's what I gathered. But I mean he pulled off a deck swap, and boldly used a pre signed card, and a force on a incredibly experienced magician. It's still my favorite card trick on this show so far.
If you look closely at Shawn's performance you can see that when he does the deck swap he closes the box of cards (the one which will be sealed) with his left hand (czcams.com/video/CRpz0zuAGVs/video.html at 2:37), so it is not already sealed and there is something else going around there. However I don't understand why he would do it in the open like that.
lol you think these kids are good enough to teach ANYTHING that kostya kimlat does? no... they aren't... i wouldn't be surprised if they revealed the method and "taught" it here anyway even though they cant even do the effect. theyve done this before... revealing tricks that they cant even perform themselves. its kinda disgusting and cringe.
For everyone who want to know how to do that false cut all you do is swing cut 3 times on the second swing cut upjog it so you can swivel it out with your right hand middle finger then when you swivel it out charlier cut the 2 seperate packs in your left hand and put the swivelled pack on top of the pack your charlier cutting to the bottom pretty bad explanation but it should help you get an idea of how to do it.
yes he sliped it in the new deck from the bottom, if you see his every move during that part ,you'll notice it. and the part where penn examines the bottom of the case but misses it because its so well gimmicked and he is really quick about it.
This trick requires "Feel 'N Seal by Peter Eggink". It's complicated and expensive, but then it all becomes clear. After the switch, the 7D is placed into its rightful place by way of a clear plastic 'locator' sitting in place in the second new order deck in between the 6D & 8D, right in front of Penn. (its original 7D removed and discarded.) This device is taken out from Penn's hands with the spare joker on top covering it. Shawn has to then get red of the plastic evidence and that's why he uses the spare joker to cover it and put it in his pocket with the the other irrelevant cards . But I still can't figure out how Shawn forces the 7D on Penn? The chosen card (in this case the 7D) HAS to be forced for the trick to work. czcams.com/video/oc9oHW-nlHg/video.html.
I just now started learning magic so go easy on me but can you explain in a little more detail about this plastic device and where I can get it? I’m assuming that is how they were able to use a signed card when Shawn Farquhar does it but in this instructional video it’s just a generic card so everything is much simpler and as long as you’re successful with your force then it should be easy from there.
@@jenkem5376 look dude this comment is from two years ago, I have no clue what this was about and I don't care enough to back up what I was saying back then
I'd like to see the black mat but could you please do the mat Franco card trick just go to his channel and you'll find it and please do I think his name is kostya kimlet it's his triumph trick but on Penn and Teller just put Penn and Teller fool us Penn gets mad please do it
Hey guys I saw a magician do a variation of the trick on Penn and Teller Fool Us where he had pen sign the card which was then in the sealed case how did he get the signed card in the sealed deck was there any palming etc. if you find out please let me know or post a video thanks.
ll the dirty work done at 2 :28 in the actual show The new deck was empty and is opened from the bottom. deck box was switched while he recaps the pen. He took the deck and placed it in box at 2:38 watch the part where he takes the signed card and puts it in the new deck. he placed a dummy card on the top of the new empty deck that later removing it from his hands.
good try, but you're missing a lot of stuff. everyone knows he did a deck switch it was admitted on the show even. nobody has guessed correctly on how he got the signed card into the box at the right position. i can explain the entire trick except for that part... even the sealed deck is easily explainable. he had to remove the 7 of diamonds from the box and replace it with the signed card. thats what i dont understand. it was NOT a forced card.
all u said is true i saw it in the episode he switched the decks with the card on top of the deck (when he said the penn joke). but how did he get the signed card in the deck. it's not two cards like u explained it's just one.
The bottom has 2 flaps the second one is folded between the 6 and 8 to guide the 7 and the first one is glued with rubber cement to help the flap open and close easy
It needs practice, you can clearly see that he put a card over a new deck of cards. You can see the shiny plastic under the card when he hands it to the other guy. At 3:17
Beau C not sure how the signed card works, but it is a forced card. It's called the classic force where you spread through the card really quickly and basically put one card closet to the person then pull back the deck. It's the best force because it really gives the illusion that it's your "choice"
you obviously know nothing about magic..... A classic force feels like a free choice to the spectator and to the chooser. Though someone who uses the classic force would know instantly that shawn used the classic force in his routine
Penn shuffled the deck, gave it back to Shawn who never looked through the cards, always faced them down towards Penn who chose a card. look it up again
Daniel Fazio I watched that trick 30+ times lol, he also did it on Ellen. It’s a basics classic force he palmed the card somewhere before putting on the deck and did the force
dude, how will you open de ppastic and box, switch the signed card and reseal everything back while on stage and under the watchfull eyes of the audience? All with just one hand.
this is not the same method as his. also the effect wasnt even shawn's effect either. this is a classic effect of magic, but the one on fool us was simply done with a different method.
Here's a bit of advice. Get a white surface and bounce the light from an angle off that. That way there won't be strong shadows and it'll look more professional.
to get clicks and views from people who dont take magic seriously and want to know how card tricks work. its a shame. you shouldnt be teaching magic unless you truly care about teaching the craft and the art as a whole.

By far this is one of my favorite tricks that you taught, and I love that you guys talk " a lot" it's entertaining and your personalities are great
I like the way you do it helps you see the cards
Guy in the backround is so anoying
Yeah when he started cutting the deck 1 by 1 i wanted to knock him out
keep the set up your have now. I like it
could you do a tutorial on asi winds "double exposure" as seen on David Blaines "real or magic" dvd

do it the way u always do it. be a unique channel
keep the card mat!!!!!!!! please, it's awesome!!!!
I like the way u have it
Well. 2 points missed:
1. card should be SIGNED.
2. the OTHER person should shuffle the deck.
How does this work with your confident explanation?
The way Shawn Farquhar did it was he got his friend to get a random card signed by Pen, then he just placed that card in the deck.
CrispyGamer that's what I gathered. But I mean he pulled off a deck swap, and boldly used a pre signed card, and a force on a incredibly experienced magician. It's still my favorite card trick on this show so far.
LOL
if he did that, what if Penn didn't sign the card exactly the same (at least very close) as how he signed the one in Shawn's deck?
If you look closely at Shawn's performance you can see that when he does the deck swap he closes the box of cards (the one which will be sealed) with his left hand (czcams.com/video/CRpz0zuAGVs/video.html at 2:37), so it is not already sealed and there is something else going around there. Shawn had a signed card!
a matt black table would look fresh but i like this too
"Cut the deck."
"No!" *Does everything except cutting the deck*
Do it have you been keep up the good work
do you think you could do a tutorial on Penn & Teller: Fool Us // Kostya Kimlat. please
He has a reveal in his channel of one of his tricks on fool us

If you are guys making a giveaway , I would really like to have my very first deck of cards :)
keep the same setup its cool
nahhh , i don't think you need to change at all , to me your the best and funny sometimes😂
yes please change it up to the black table

I think you should
perform in lots of different places like Evan era, and scam school
But how did Shawn Farquar put that signed card back in?
Joe Robertson exactly what I’m wondering
Still the trick remains unrevealed... How did the signed card get in.. set up just can't work
ExActly useless
Also in the show Penn looked at the new deck from every side and I think he sees if there is a hole in the plastic.
yes he sliped it in the new deck from the bottom, if you see his every move during that part ,you'll notice it. and the part where penn examines the bottom of the case but misses it because its so well gimmicked and he is really quick about it.
keep it up

with a deck switch, a deck with 52 7Ds?
sorry but i believe you are wrong, but you are the closest guess ive seen at least on this comment section.

A lot of people have pointed out the flaws from your explanation, but on top of it there was no incision of any kind on the second card box.
just because he didnt see one doesnt mean its not there

Maybe try a black card mat
you sounded like cool candian illusionist douglas james henning he says perfect
how to do this with a signed card?
if theres a signed card it means is a random and not forced card. simple as that.
he mustve forged the signature
Bigger mat, that's it
I don't really mind, whatever is convinient for you guys

4:45 bro you should’ve just removed the ad cards beforehand too 😂

Love you guys and your vids
i don't think that u need to change it

I want a black table
keep the current set up

The card you use to "pull out of the deck" should be removed from the "resealed" deck to add to the illusion.
Nah got to keep it original
You used the classic force

One problem: The card on Penn and Teller was signed. There's another layer to it that this tutorial is lacking.
yes, this video explains nothing
Great. Now show us the signed card version.
It needs practice, you can clearly see that he put a card over a new deck of cards. You can see the shiny plastic under the card when he hands it to the other guy. At 3:17
they are trash at teaching and performing magic. its just a couple kids trying to get clicks on youtube.

keep the green card table
They signed the card though dude. And also it wasn't a forced card on penn and t

This is the most acurately dumb stupidiest explanation to the card trick we all came here for
yea now do it with signed card.
Have you ever wondered why they decided to make a full out CZcams channel for card tricks?
to get clicks and views from people who dont take magic seriously and want to know how card tricks work. its a shame. you shouldnt be teaching magic unless you truly care about teaching the craft and the art as a whole.
Yyyyesssss pleassssssse

This is not what Shawn did. The signed card was done during the routine.
look on that video 2:39 (show fool us) ..he must do something more i think
Funny how the hardest part of the trick (deck switch) is not In the shot.
Dont worry about a black table, worry about teaching better.
Do these alone next time
