In this video titled This INSANE MISSION TREE Lets You SUBJUGATE EVERYONE - EU4 1.33 Bavaria Guide I make an EU4 Guide for Bavaria for Europa Universalis 4 1.33 France. With EU4 1.33 France releasing the meta and the starting moves for many nations on the map has changed, so of course new and up to date guides are needed. This EU4 Bavaria starting moves guide or EU4 Bavaria starting moves tutorial will ensure that you get a great start for yourself playing as the nation of Bavaria . This guide covers the opening moves, forming Bavaria, diplomacy, estates, alliances, subjects, missions, national ideas, and more! Bavaria is one of the best nations for playing wide, being extremely rich, having a ton of subjects, forming Germany or The Holy Roman Empire and more! After watching this EU4 Bavaria guide you will ensure a great start for yourself, and you will have an easy and fun campaign. The save file is available for all Tier 1 and above CZcams members in the save-games Discord channel.

I haven't seen many guides on Genoa. Their starting position seems really cool to me, but I just can't really get them started. Would you like to give it a try?
Ming
Friesland
Or Mogadishu
Have you tried Gujarat? It has both unique ideas and unique missions
You can almost feel how difficult it was for Red Hawk to actually recommend Curtail Noble Priveleges.
Maybe a guide on one of the Asian/Indian nations? Ayutthaya, Korea etc. would be a very interesting guide to see :)
Malacca or Johor or Aceh please
K O R E A
Korea pls
Would like to see an Ayutthaya and Majapahit run.
I agree.
Greatest EU4 CZcamsr. Always excited when you upload, especially A-Z
Thanks!
Sadly 1.34 will nerf Bavaria a bit. Denmark wont have the Wittelsbachs as a normal dynasty anymore. So thats that save PU opportunity out of the window.
Tbf it’s almost impossible to PU denmark anyways, what with Bavaria having no navy to reach copenhagen and the AE for PU’ing the whole Kalmar Union being absolutely insane.
@@thedemonhater7748 Does AE of junior partners get added on to the AE you get for PU'ing the senior partner? Didn't know that was the case.
@@caferustwat it doesnt.
really? i mean they will wont they, just that it's gonna be a restart if they they are forced to get another king no?
@@thedemonhater7748 I mean, if you can get Burgundy then it's doable. Also I'd say that Bavaria is probably one of easiest countries to do Atwix 10 PUs Achievment.
I would really like to see a guide for one of the Merchant Republic guys, because those look like some of the more interesting european nations.
for some reason if you play as Landshut, Munich will 80% of the time be guaranteed by Bohemia before 1445 and Ingolstadt will be allied with Austria/Hungary. Munich also starts with -2 on Hungary for an alliance, meaning they can ally them in december.
I had to restart so many times just to get a game in which the bavarian minors werent protected by big nations.
Yeah, I had to fight Bohemia to take Munich when I did this run. It’s not impossible, but it extends the time/cost of forming Bavaria by a lot.
Month late, but I had the same thing. Basically, instead of restarting, I allied bohemia, improved relations etc and waited until they just revoked their guarantee. Turns out it was worth it because for no apparent reason, just as me and my allies were cleaning up munich, palatinate declared on munich so after i pued the latter... free vassal XD
@@lookie4448 how long did it take for bohemia to revoke their guarantee?
@@TheBigSal I think few years, but somewhere in early 1450s
Glad to see Bavaria being played
(Also fun fact : Greece in 1832 got a king named Otto of Bavaria, plus his father Ludwig was a philhellene, he was really interested in Greek culture and history, plus that's why you see Greek architecture in Bavaria)
So yeah, that could fit in a alt history mod ;)
Ok we get it you are greek and gay. So just greek
Random other EU4 CZcamsr making a guide: "Oh my schnappledoo, I already became emperor! In Ironman mode! Let's continue and cheat our way to ultimate victory!!!"
Hawk: "Oh damn, I already became emperor. Let's restart, since this is completely unrealistic."
Yknow I feel like I know who you’re talking about but out of respect I won’t say them by name 💀
@@thedemonhater7748 yes, I think you exactly know who I'm talking about
Getting free Emporer isn't cheating, otherwise hawk cheated too
@@lorrdy7640 the point is that it's gonna be rare so then the guide won't apply. Obviously if you get it early, keep it, but you can't expect it reliably.
I remember a Brandenburg run I did in 1.9, back when it was easy to PU bohemia as pretty much anyone close enough to RM. Austria died pretty early and I unexpectedly was elected emperor which I didn't expect until after winning league war. Still flipped to Protestant and lost emperor but took it back after league wars. It helped make my WC run easier but I didn't expect the early emperorship
What you talking about? :D Ludi did same thing few times when he got lucky shit in his guide with quick explaining what to do if you also get that.
The more guys like them do guides and videos about eu4 the more WE win.
The Palatinate also has the Wittelsbach Dynasty on the Throne and if I remember correctly that line of the family later sat on the bavarian throne
I find that the biggest issue forming Bavaria in 1.33 is Bohemia. Even if you ally bohemia and have Munich as a rival, a lot of games Bohemia will guarantee Munich. Very annoying. That's why if you play as Landshut, I highly recommend doing the Bohemia PU cheese and then uniting Bavaria. Otherwise, I think Munich is the best option to form Bavaria with 1.33.
if you wait out on forming Bavaria and build 5 buildings in your junior partner's capitals they will also get centers of trade. You can end up getting like 6 or 7 centers of trade in vien trade node
I suggest Korea! I really like playing them (mostly for the absolutely absurd 40+% tech cost reduction if you go inno ideas) so I'd like to see how you approach it!
As for the next guide, maybe someone in the Indian subcontinent or Southeast Asia that has a cool mission tree.
Although I have a lot of hours under my belt, I like your guides because you explore mission trees that I have never really delved into and where to go with them.
And btw, really enjoy your stuff and appreciate your alt-F4 actions to keep the guide true!
My favorite CZcams channel and I barely play this game.
as Landshut you actually get an event which makes Ingolstadt your pu when their ruler dies, so you don't actually have to declare on them.
of course right after i finish my bavaria campaign i always knew you had it out for me REDHAWK
Had to restart 6 or 7 times because Munich keeps getting alliances with Austria Poland and Hungary, am I just really unlucky?
You becoming Emperor by pure dumb luck so quick reminds me of a Provence game where I got elected as Emperor by accident (provence diplo rep is nice) because the Austrian ruler died young and heirless, and then one month later Burgundy (who was neutral to me) gave me the inheritance
I watched your bavaria guide like 2 days ago and in that video you forgot that you getting permament cores on bavaria areas and built a spy network on palatine and salzburg, and you did it again :D
this is one of your best guides yet
Every time a start as Landshut Bohemia is garanting miuchen, and austia is allied palatenet
Bruh I have been trying to do a bavaria run the entire day follow the 1.31 guide (finnaly got a good start) and RedHawk releases this after I'm done playing for the day
Going to be my next game but will probably start as Munich like the old guy. Thanks Redhawk! I’d recommend you do Ming guide next!
Everytime i've tried this start as Landshut, Bohemia always grants independance on Munich. so frustrating!!
Thanks for the video.
3 mins ago let's go. Excited to see your Bavaria run
Enjoy!
I know it's kind of out there, but I'd love to see a New Providence or other pirate republic guide. I can never seem to escape the ire of Spain or stabilize my economy.
also, if you could have held the throne at the beginning, you would have received a cb to restore the union with Milan
You can complete the center of trade mission for all three getting three centers via mission tree before forming Bavaria
Man, you deserve so many more veiws, likes and subscribers
Thank you!
Denmark, especially if they still have Scandinavia, is always a great PU in a Bavaria campaign.
Lol that first general you rolled for might as well have been 0 0 0 0!!!
The Emperor can use imperial authority to change the HRE's inheritance laws to allow your Heiress to become Empress.
Bavaria into Austria into HRE/Germany is a really fun campaign
I don't even want to play Bavaria but thank you for uploading :))
12:38 That's one way to skin a cat. The Palatinate was allied to Wurtenberg. Depending on Wurtenburg allies, I would just declare on Wurtenberg and separate peace the Palatinate and only make them annul alliance with Austria. That way, you can declare war 6 years later for PU and save the favors with Austria.
Edit: 16:39 NICE!!!
I've only really played a few nations in HRE, Austria, Brandenburg, and Burgundy for a few years
THis may sound odd as its not a country guide but would you consider doing an episode that is just a guide to the different estates and priveledges?
You can creat 3 trade center by mission and then create Bavaria :)
Man I will love Oirat guide or Teutonic 1.34 guide
I don't know if others are having this problem but austria won't ally me even after doing all the steps and a diplo rep guy. Does anyone know how I can fix it?
My last campaign was a Munich run where I never formed Bavaria and just painted "Munich" all over southern Germany and northern Italy lol very fun region
Bavaria is so much fun, this is the first nation I ever formed Germany with. Also ended up flipping orthodox
I always liked Bavaria's map color
Q: What is Landshut's starting force limit?
A: NEIN!
Maybe a Korea guide. They have some crazy playing tall potential, especially if you open with Innovative Ideas, because you can stack -20% tech cost in the first decade of the game, and get insane mana generation from the advisor discounts.
And you can also become Emporer of China.
Plus they got the turtle boat achievment. So it's an extra win for those who aim for that.
I played China and Japan they're both incredibly boring, so maybe i'll try out Korea instead
@@Brakiros japan is boring? when did you have time to get bored during sengoku jidai
Try Swabia with their free annexing of allies (no, not subjects, allies). No one seems to have touched it
You just did "This is a nation that lets you subjugate everyone" what about doing the actual nation that lets you subjugate everyone, Mahapajit?
We love you.❤️
i dont understand how in al these guides the austria ruler dies so quickly. Im following the bohemia guide, I'm 20y in and i missed the shadow kingdom because im still not emperor, as there has been no election yet...
A guide for Franconia would be very interesting because the Nations with franconian culture arent so strong. The Mission tree isnt very unique but I think its worth it for a video guide.
PU Burgundy Change your Capital to Den Haag use the Mission which gives you a CoT Profit!
Alt +f4 - something ludi woulnt do and claim its proper guide lmao. Thanks for doing that, makes it more realistic.
In many of my recent games, Austria's ruler and first heir both die very quickly after the start.
this game has serious issues with the death roll on leaders, they frequently die far too young, I don't play ironman so I don't have to deal with that grief so I just load auto save when my leader dies at 24.
Already have something for Octoberfest. Now we need an event/idea for laderhosen, yodeling and ladies with braids, blonde hair and big bo-...isterous personalities!
Great Guide as allways. Smally critic for the Thumbnail thougt. Stettin is Not Part of modern Germany but Sternberg (the Newmark Province Brandenburg Starts with) is Part of Modern Day Germany.
Will you talk about the last dev diary for the upcoming expansion? They'll change the government reform, and notably buff curtail noble privilege and nerf strentghten nobles, plus adding a ton of other reforms ^^
Desperately want a Granada -> Andalusia guide, do the Byzantium of the West!
What does the Cologne Secunditure (or whatever it is called) achieve? Does the elector is a subject imperial authority malus go away?
Just a reminder: you NEED to start as Munich if you want the "stern des südens" Achievement :)
How do you manage with that many diplomatic relations? Do you even have any diplo power to spare?
My best start is becoming the emperor at1449 and got the burgundy inheritance in1460s
Is there a way to get around the hit in IA when you subjugate the elector Cologne? Brandenburg?
any ideas on how to get the PU with Denmark? i have the claim throne cb but my problem is that i can't get to there capital...
23:30 I don’t care if it’s not optimal, i will NEVER pass up the chance to slice Austria into ribbons by vassal feeding Styria and Tirol 😎😎
Red Hawk not getting Strengthen Noble Privileges? :O waaaat
"Now we're gonna break our alliance with Austria because we dont like them anymore"
Bismark? Is that you?
Guide video 4 of requesting a Walachia-> Romania guide.
Ngl I’m sort of the player who would dismantle the HRE as soon as I get the chance I prefer to see the chaos
Shouldn’t you have an early war with bohemia to take ceb
hello again mr red hawk
Hello hello
what mods do you use to get the appearance of the game?
Red Hawk actually suggested curtail noble privileges? (IMPOSSIBLE)
In my game the allways allie hungary and bohemia and get protoctien by bohemia also
Every Laaandshat is killing me a bit more
hope to see other nation. bavaria guide was already in 1.31.
How do you get this improve relations window at 8:48 maybe im stupid but I dont seem to have it
BAVARIA OMG FINALLY
Oof that first general, at least guy knows how to flee lel
fun fact the ilumnati started in Bavaria
I have a specific plan in mind with Byzantium, first I recover all lost Roman lands (and even add a little more, like the entirety of the British Isles, all of Arabia and East Africa), Then I go colonize the Americas and see if I should just conquer the "New world" in its entirety or conquer the entire world in the end.
I would love to see a mewar guide, my favourite indian nation and I really wanna see more people play it
Oh man i once did Bavaria run and waited for the Austrians to pu Hungary,Bohemia and Burgundy after i got them as my pu's i pu'd Brandemburg from that moment the game was won but i decided to have fun with HRE vassal swarm is op ultimatly i decided to form HRE instead of Germany because i never formed them. Absolute dominance that was
I already did chill bavarian game i ended as hre colonial empire since 1650
plz do Denmark when 1.34 comes out :D
If one of the other minor Bavarian nations allies Austria, couldn't you just declare on the other first, then declare on Austria's ally once they're locked into a war with you?
You'd have to wait for 10 favors first
Streamer luck, this man got emperorship in like 10 seconds. My last Bohemia game took me till something like 1490 to get it
Munich is often garanteed by Bohmemia
Any ideas what to do ?
A little trick - you don't have to restart if say munich ally austria. Just wait until they attack Ingolstadt and declare on Ingolstadt yourself, PU them and boom - you are in a war with Munich as a defender! Win the war, PU Munich, form Bavaria, done!
Ah he’s the nation I used to create Germany with
12:50 Pope Iohannes XXIII ;)
Gomu Gomu No RED HAWK!!!!
Personally i play as Munich, one of Bavaria minor do ally and only Austria but hopefully for me Saxony(with thuring as PU), Mayence, cologne (+ I manage to PU the other Bavaria minor) help me to beat them.
Recommend if you want some "challenge" if not just restart.
P.S.: I just raise free company, wasn't out of my force limit and the 5 1% loans, do lose lot of manpowers to siege Austria but didn't take more loans or hire more mercenaries, it's way easier my situation that fighting ottomans as Byzantium in 1444.
And hey, when are you going to play (and record) another Zwellik and Laith game again? Those are quite funny. 😄
Generally speaking Bohemia loves to guarantee Münich which kinda ruins early game unification.
Any guide on an Asian country and how to cause mingsplosion would be great
I swear to god I was watching the old bavaria guide not 10 minutes ago.
Do my second fav nation. Tsang into tibet (yes I know im weird)
Do a guide on Nassau.
Why?
Because it's my homeregion!
