  • TOMMEE TIPPEE MILK POWDER DISPENSER REVIEW. This video is my take on my experience in using the tommee tippee milk powder dispenser. I bought it because I like the idea that its space saving. Unfortunately, once my baby started drinking more than 3 ounces, then I started to notice that the tommee tippee milk powder dispensers are not so practical anymore.
    I do sterilize the parts all the time and when I prepare the formula, I do not put them on the countertop. I put them in a cleaned plastic container.
    As I've mentioned, this tommee tippee milk powder dispenser worked with us during the first 2 months, but since my babies are now 4 months, they eat more than 3 ounces. And this tommee tippee milk powder dispenser BARELY HOLDS 3 SCOOPS of formula milk. But they claimed in the box it can hold 8 SCOOPS!! Holy moly! I don't even think that is possible!

    I have been using tommee tippee milk dispenser for my baby since she was 6 months, and I never had any problems with it. (She's turning 2 years 2 months from now). I actually like it better than the ordinary one, because it is very handy and not bulky. It can fit up to 4 scoops of Similac. If you are using NAN, which has a smaller scoop, it can fit up to 8. I would say it's the best milk dispenser I have ever used so far.

      Hi Mama Elaine! Thanks for watching my video! Yes i love that its compact but i dont really know how i can fit 6 scoops :'( is there a technique?? I really can barely fit 4!

      +TwinsandMe101 I don't know which brand of milk you are using. I'm using Similac. 4 scoops of Similac is good for 240 ml or 8 oz of water. 4 scoops is just enough to fit 1 dispenser of tommee tippee. I think Progress Gold's scooper has the same size as Similac. 😊

    It actually depends on your formula, the formula I use for my baby uses a small scoop, it can fit 9 scoops in it. And it's useful when making short errands where you just bring one bottle. It's perfect for the 11oz bottle. Also if you don't have much use for it put snacks in it. Not for daily use as it has a lot of parts to clean and dry.
    On long trips where I need to bring more bottles, saves space in the bag where you normally would put another container of dispenser you can put something else like extra diaper and clothes

    Great video Hun. How long does it take for the dispensers to dry once you have sterilised them? Do you sterilise them separate from the bottles? And... do you have to take them apart completely to sterilise the dispensers? Might this help the parts to dry quicker being separated? Pls help :)

    • @heyitsAprille
      @heyitsAprille  Před 6 lety

      rebekah littley hey! thanks for watching! Yes we do remove all the parts and put it inside the sterilizer. We have the Avent sterilzer and use it all the time. As for drying, yes it dries faster without the parts altogether- same concept as the bottles :) hope this helps! Dont forget to subscribe if u havent for more helpful videos! Thank you!

    I had these with my son. The box says it will hold enough formula for an 8 ounce bottle not 8 scoops. Double check the formula bottle but most are 1 scoop of formula for every 2 ounces of water. 150ml would be 2.5 scoops. I thought these were great but with my formula I never needed more than 4 scoops because I never made a bottle bigger than 8 ounces.

      Hey Momma! Thanks for watching! This is the link from tommee tippee website.. m.tommeetippee.us/product/formula-dispensers/.. I did double check and it really says it can hold up to 8 scoops.. :/ maybe there's a technique you should do?? But it didnt say anything else on the box.. Yeah i love them when my babies were taking the small bottle.. But when we change to bigger ones.. Can't use it anymore..

    • @glammedbynatalia
      @glammedbynatalia Před 3 lety

      Box clearly saids 8 scoop lol ok but I fit in mine 5 schools light taps and that’s 10oz.
      So Mayb they make a bigger one now and that’s why I have. Idk how she gets to fit only 21/2 ? 🤦🏻‍♀️

    Have you tried to microwave the dispenser? I'm thinking if it can be sterilised, it can be microwaved? Since we're fully breastfeeding, we use this dispenser to store his food.

    You should never prop up bottles!

    • @heyitsAprille
      @heyitsAprille  Před 5 lety +4

      Hello Melisa. I appreciate you sharing your concern. Though every mother has their own beliefs and opinions. We all are in the same page when it comes to our babies’ safety. The internet has full of bad and good information. Some are actually exaggerated. To Bottle prop or not, to crib bumpers or not, to co-sleep or not, to circumcise or not, to baby led ween or not, to vaccine or not and a loooot more of to’s and not’s. For me, being a mother is keeping your child safe. I won’t ask you to believe at what i believe, but i would respect your choice. Being a mother is hard enough- we should all support each other.. with that said- my twins are my 4th and 5th babies. I think i had enough experience being a mom 🤗
