Thanks for this video it’s always helpful to see how other mums do it and get some tips ☺️ I know what you mean about the froth covering up the lines on the bottle when you make it up if you’re out. I pour 7oz boiling water into a bottle to check there is definitely 7oz, then pour half of it in a flask to keep hot. I then use the hot water to mix the powder in a new bottle when I’m out, then top up with the rest of the water from the other bottle that will have cooled down by then. Sounds complicated but not too bad now I’ve got the hang of it and just saves a bit of money instead of buying the premade bottles. I definitely do prefer the premade bottles for ease / peace of mind though! Xx

thank you 😊 I still use the jug of cold water method if I am visiting my nan and grandads but it is a pain waiting when Chase is hungry 😩 Xx

Love the MAM bottles too. I'm breastfeeding but give my baby a bottle expressed milk when I need a break. Both of my babies took those bottles with no problem 😊

I automatically went with tommme tippee bottles before my son was born. Within 2 days of us being home he just did not take to them so we had to make the quick decision to go with MAM and it's been great ever since. I tried to sell the tommee tippee ones but couldn't. Its like people knew they were poo. I ended up giving them away just to get rid 🙄 xx

Really love your videos! So helpful i think I'm going to get the pod things that you showed it looks easy and less faffing about, im still in 2 minds about the prep machine, I add it to my list then take it off again but soon need to make my mind up. Many years before I used to boil water and have a flask of hot water and make a bottle then put that bottle in a jug of cold water, which did take time to cool down. I'm going to be doing it all over again!! Thank u for the feeding position tips Xxx

I just used to keep a flask of boiling water on the go to mix into the formula and then a separate bottle of cooled boiled water to get the milk to the right temp. Much cheaper than a machine to do the exact same thing!

Hi hun, ironic u have posted this after the day iv had lol iv used the prep machine for 4 an a half months now it’s the old style we have, an iv come to do my fortnightly clean through with Milton and when iv taken the hopper out to remove the filter, below the filter on the bottom of the machines has gone really grimy an black! I couldn’t believe it! This is below the filter so water that has been filtered caused this 🤷‍♀️ just keep a close eye on yours cus iv gone by the book and cleaned mine fortnightly plus I changed the filter after 2 months of use to be on the safe side an this still happened 😔 xx

@@ShahinasChannel if I could start from the beginning I wouldn’t buy again personally, I decided to ignore the warnings and thought the prep machines that people where complaining about may not have been cleaned regularly, they need a litre of Milton followed by a litre of boiling water run through fortnightly to clean, I did this and mines still ended up grimy. I’m now gonna fill a flask first thing in the morning with boiled water and make up bottles using half boiled water out the flask and half cooled boiled water so it’s close to room temp and won’t take so long to cool Xx

Oh no! I heard about the mould situation when I had Brodie 3 years ago, thankfully I’ve never had that problem though (yet) I just went and checked to make sure as Chase has had an upset stomach for a few days and I read your comment in a panic thinking what if its the machine 😩 I definitely hate the new machine not worth the money one bit, much preferred the old one! xx

@@AmieLouise1 my little girl has been really unsettled for a few days and I’m worried it’s the grime in the prep machine now, iv been so stressed all day an feel so guilty! Hopefully you can continue to use yours with no problems 🤞 cus they are a godsend (when they work 😩) xx

Hi amie love your videos and boys are absolute cuties, was wondering did u breastfeed at any point or go straight to formula, am currently breastfeeding my 3week old but finding it so demanding especially whilst I have a 7-5 year old too however because he is latching I get mum guilt to take it away and give him a bottle even though my other two were bottle fed as I had feeding issues with them. Am in two minds would be great to hear ur input lots off love xxx

Hey aw thank you so much! I was in two minds to breastfeed Chase but decided to formula feed in the end so I can’t offer any advice sorry lovely. What I will say is just do what’s right for you and baby, have you seeked any breastfeeding help from your health visitor or midwife? They are normally really good with breastfeeding support xx

I’m breastfeeding my second and he’s 5 weeks old. I could have written this post! We decided to express one bottle a day so my husband could feed at night and if I’m really exhausted my husband bottle feeds him too. It’s so bloody exhausting and 2 weeks ago all I did was cry and felt like I was going to keel over! I decided to keep going because of guilt too. Do whatever is best for you not just your baby!!!
