Sorry, most British people DO NOT eat this MOST mornings!!! We just eat this as a special treat.
I do Muwhahahaaaaa
Fraid I do, 3 quid in my works canteen
Ian Tomlin..... you eat a breakfast like that EVERY DAY? Does it not make you get fat?
Or reserved for a hangover ha.
true we don't eat this most mornings...but England was founded on breakfast food like that...and England was a country long before America.
99 % of Brits have cereal or toast everyday not this!
Not true! 99% of them have sausage sandwiches and only a small amount have cereal like the elderly...I should know I've been in England for over 15 years
Frosty Wang
only 15 years?
That is not true. We eat cereal, toast, pbj and Nutella sandwiches for breakfast. We have a bacon/sausage sandwich once a fortnight, and very rarely have a full English breakfast.
+Frosty Wang No we dont we will have cereal or toast most of the time.
I have a couple a week.
Me dad was the same, but now a weetabix man
“In America you can have dessert for breakfast” you can have that anywhere you want no ones gonna stop you

“This is considered the traditional staple for most people most mornings” - speak for yaself love 😂
G You don’t even know most people in England
@@amy-leeskyy548 the only reason you would eat this most mornings is if you want heart disease.
And also way too time consuming (if made at home) or money consuming (if eating out) if this is done everyday
@@KayHatesPeopleOfficial hmmm heart disease one of the most deadliest diseases on earth
@@jonathanwong3709 Unless you have got a lot of money to waste on doing this kind of thing every morning.
There's just no point.
Most people, most mornings?
Hardly, a full english is more of a sunday thing
Very true
Preach!!!
I barely even have this
Meh Saturday too but yea never weekdays (UNLESS AIRPORTS
This is true. I live in the UK, the last time I had an English breakfast was over 2-3 months ago.
Well, I must say that the last girl annoyed me quite a bit when she said 'I like American breakfast better because you can have something sweet' which is kind of stupid because I think she's forgetting that this is a traditional breakfast. I am American, but I would imagine that the english can eat whatever the hell they want for breakfast.
Meatis Omalley You would be right!
Meatis Omalley yes we have sweet stuff too such as pop tarts & pancakes but they are different to the Americans coz ours go in the toaster..we also have loads of varieties of cereal, oats & porridge.
Meatis Omalley Same thought that I had.
BlondeAmy92 Americans typically cook pop tarts in a toaster (though I prefer it raw), and there are also pancakes that you can cook in a toaster.
No sadly the rules in Britain are very strict and we must eat an English breakfast every morning and if we don't we are whipped until we bleed.
"Beans aren't a breakfast food"
"You can have desert for breakfast in america"

Clement Moraschi they’re not used to having healthy foods for breakfast

They are not meant to be eaten individually but to compliment each other lol
@@Muckylittleme I like eating mine separately, but that's just because I'm picky and have OCD.. xD
@@caileyalana5327 LOL so long as you enjoy.
But I urge to be brave and mix nom nom nom, it may be a new beginning for you.
I used to suffer quite badly, when I was young got the stage where I would have ever more disruptive rules to the point it was really eating into my life.
Somehow I just faced it down and made rules that would be impossible to fulfil and something snapped (in a good way) - once nothing bad happened I was able to reel it all back.
I'm not a psychologist and I'm sure it is different for everyone but I looked at is as my enemy keeping me prisoner. I understand your situation may well be different (more manageable or worse) but if you can break just one compulsion you can start to turn the tide. Then again if you are happy stay as you are ;)
As Joey said of Rachel's trifle, cream good, jelly good, beef good, what's not to like? :D
American: pudding is a dessert not breakfast
Also American : I like American breakfast better because you can have dessert for breakfast 🤦♂️
I think her point was the name “black pudding” made her think it was the dessert kind of pudding and was thrown off. Instead of saying it’s having dessert for breakfast. Otherwise I disagree with everything else she said 😂
I prefer the Welsh version where they have everything in an English breakfast- plus laverbread (SEAWEED).
One of the main reasons I don't eat breakfast, here in America, is because everything is so sweet.
Black pudding is not a pudding that you make with milk. I don't think it's sweet.
She never said not breakfast. She said pudding is chocolate and dessert and sweet. People have dessert for breakfast all the time. She was hopeful for what she described as breakfast not some weird meat loaf made from pigs blood. 🤦🏽♂️
Woah, woah, woah! We don't JUST have a traditional English breakfast FOR breakfast every freaking day of outr lives! We can also have whatever we want for breakfast. I rarely eat an English breakfast and if I do I have it for lunch a.k.a a farmhouse brunch
Omg right!! I ain't got time to make my self that breakfast every morning! XD
Darian Criddle I don't even have breakfast in a morning.

Steve Bam lol but i am British as well xD i love fry ups as well :D
yh all i really eat is cereal, like coco pops or cheerios. This breakfast is like what i would eat for lunch (except for the black pudding) that looks disgusting.
+Steve Bam Mostly on Sundays xD I usually ate crumpets when I lived in England.
Yeah, I have it on Sunday's
I'm an American and grew up with an English friend and every Sunday morning when I stayed at his house his parents made a full english breakfast for us and it's by far my favorite breakfast of all time
One thing we British definitely have a hand on is breakfast
im american too from Argentina
@@matthewseller3711 Sunday dinner too. Amazes me it's not a thing in America.
"It looks like a hot dog" is one of the most American things ever.
No-one in England eats that everyday! We generally have toast or cereal!
America generally eats toast and cereal too. But the English breakfast is something I've never seen in America.
***** But it never has beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, and definitely not blood pudding... we basically just don't have blood pudding at all. And nobody I know has fry up breakfasts except when they go out for breakfasts on weekends.
we usually have sausage or bacon, hash browned potatoes and toast so its similar.
that's why heart attacks happen lol as a treat it fine not all the time as I would have a lot of fat in my veins
Exactly. We'd all be the size of an elephants. It's a special treat.
LMAO "This is considered the traditional, staple for most people most mornings." - ummmm no it isn't. Perhaps some people/families have it at the weekends but "most mornings" is just wrong. Having said that, a British fry up is delicious :)
I couldn't eat a full English every morning lol why do people think it's all we eat in the mornings 😂 I love my French toast and pancakes
LemonJelly360 She was referring to people at the restaurant. As in this is what most people order at our restaurant for breakfast.
LemonJelly360 If your in the navy it is. When you get up and go the scran counted. There is bacon, sausages, beans, tined tomatos and some form of eggs. Yes you can choose cereal however most don't.
I was thinking that too ahah I don't think my heart could take it!
LemonJelly360 True people love it, But every day would probably kill you pretty quick. Most people only have it once a week or month at most. Personally its my hangover cure.
America: Pudding is dessert, not breakfast.
England: Observe.
“Pudding is desert”
Not according to the etymology of “Pudding”
Who the hell eats pudding for breakfast? I’m American and I don’t lmao
as a UK native: talk to the guy who named Black pudding...don't judge it by the name
Oh, yeah. Pudding covers a myriad of things in the UK. There are savoury puddings which are like savoury pies made with suet pastry. Basically, in the UK, we use the word pudding instead of dessert too.
Lol you won't find a single person over 40 years old thats eats this most mornings love, ill tell ya that.
LOL
Or under 40 years old haha
College lads beg to differ mate.
Yeah, I probs have this three times a year at most. I haven't met one person who has it even close to daily
Only if I am hungover...
'in America you can have dessert for breakfast' if i were you i wouldn't brag about that..
Zach Simpkins oh, whoops
And won't brag about having better greasy beacons either

SmellsLikeNirvanna cool. and there's nothing wrong with that either.
I live in the UK, and trust me, about 95% of us do not eat these every morning. In fact I'd say the majority of us have one of these maybe once a month.
Yes, those people are definitely in the other 5%
Usually when somebody else is cooking it! So when you are on holiday, staying in a hotel or you know a good caff or pub!
+LaneyStudios5 nope, 1 every year xD apart from that its toast and sausage rolls XD
Yes at least I do know some people who would have this on a Sunday however for most of us once a month at least

Ikr you add a bit of everything on to the fork
C B egg, bacon and beans on the toast yum 😍
I would point out that despite what this woman says, hardly anybody eats this kind of breakfast every day. That would not be healthy. It's an 'occasional' breakfast and is often eaten later into the day as an 'all day breakfast'. In the uk the 'everyday' breakfast is cereal, porridge or toast and marmalade.
yeah, i literally have this about 3 times a year at most
tjf4375 yeah, I only have this maybe twice a month if that. I used to have a fry up before I go to watch football but now BHS have closed down :(

aint making potatoes in the morning very time consuming?
American: Pudding is dessert not a breakfast
Also Americans: eat pancakes and waffles for breakfast
Teodora D what’s pancakes and waffles supposed to be then, desert???

Sugar Z Blossom no...
@@teodorad1235 Well they're obviously not dessert. Like how're you supposed to have room for such a large 'dessert'?
That blonde girl: we can have sweet or savoury for breakfast too! this is considered as "a Sunday breakfast" which is eaten normally less than once a month by British people
+Katie Stanley I'd like to punch her. :)
+Katie Stanley She also said the tie might have started the second revolutionary war. I think she meant civil war.
+Josue Mancias Nope, if you were taught correctly then you would know the first Revolutionary War was between Great Britain (England) and the colonists (America).
XxIAMJ0K3RxX But she wasn't talking about (or implying anyway) a war with the English but with the other Americans for liking their breakfast better right?
XxIAMJ0K3RxX Well... I guess it'd be like the patriots and the loyalists in the Revolutionary war now that I think about it.
They were not shown that to eat an English breakfast properly you have to put a tiny bit of each ingredient on the fork and eat it all together, that's where it tastes magical. thats why they complained that some of the ingredients tasted lonely.
oh and we only eat this once in a while for a treat or a hangover cure.
+Nicholas Douglas Spot on.
+Nicholas Douglas Very true! I was getting frustrated watching them eat this :( I hardly have a cooked full english but when I do its a sunday morning after a heavy night on the town lol
That sounds amazing.
+Nicholas Douglas lol mixing them all is how I learned to eat them growing up too (Scottish dad) and yeaaahhh all so heavenly combined :D but blood pudding to me is great on its own, too!
+Nicholas Douglas Anyone with a scrawney bit of common sense would have done that, it's all on one plate for a reason!
I’m loving this , I’m in Australia born and raised but my heritage is English +Scottish and I can honestly say this is my favourite meal of the day especially because of the black pudding and mushrooms. I won’t compare it to an American brekky because honestly I’ve never tried an American brekky but so far I give this traditional English brekky 2 👍 up🙂🙂🙂
Apart from McDonald’s brekky I would love to try a well loved American breakfast. If anybody has any suggestions that would be great :)
A typical American breakfast is bacon, eggs, potatoes and toast or pancakes or waffles. Dont forget the orange juice and/or coffee.
I’m from the Southern part of the US , & some breakfast foods that I’ll think You’ll enjoy would have to be Grits , Scrambled Eggs, Pork or Turkey Sausage, hashbrowns , and of course pancakes and waffles . Also , if you add cheese in the grits or hashbrowns it makes both 100% better . Cheddar cheese specifically.
Also it’s really difficult to beat fluffy buttermilk biscuits and gravy in the US!
pretty close to this really, a few things are swapped but eggs and meat are the anchor
@@steve-oh4342Potatos for breakfast is wierd in the uk except for hashbrowns
My preferred breakfast is pretty similar. One to two over easy eggs, some bacon or sausage, toast, and some apple or orange slices on the side. If I had leftover baked beans from the night before, they would be a welcome addition.
nah this is a hangover day breakfast down at the cafe
best cure....
What they should do is get them hammed then have an English:) as a cure.
Why do Americans always say they have the best bacon. No honey. American bacon is like a scab
Jade Salisbury our bacon is proper
Patty'sPerfect World Did you actually just brag about that?
Empoleon Master proper fat
No we are just loyal about our bacon 😌
Jade Salisbury I actually think I might like British bacon better than American bacon. American bacon is hard fat. I don't know why I'd eat fat, when, if it's on my steak or pork chops, I cut it off. bacon is good as a seasoning, like in fried potatoes.
Can't beat a full English and a sunday roast Black pudding is amazing
The only time American bacon is better is when it’s on a burger, otherwise it proper bacon Evertime
You, are speaking the language of facts.
Fair enough
2:15 she's saying about Americans having somthing sweet or savoury for breakfast ( like s big variety) as if all us Brits eat is a fry up 😂*facepalm*
*eat for breakfast
That isn't what she means but I sympathize. Search up an IHOP stuffed French toast commercial. When she says dessert for breakfast, she's addressing our typical over-the-top indulgence in food. Yes, she is talking about variety but a variety that even we, who love it, think is outlandish. She's an outlandish over-the-top person herself. It isn't a knock on the variety of the English breakfast. Our original traditional (sometimes called Farmer's) breakfast is based on the traditional English breakfast.
I'm a fan of tomatoes and mushrooms and sausage and eggs and fried bread and everything seen in the video except beans, which I hate, and black pudding, which I have no yet had, but I never got to have a traditional English breakfast while I was in England. The foods I honestly loved best were from chip shops. And you cannot get that here, not really. So we could have a million different types of battered and fried fish + chips/fries and we'd never be able to compete. I do think English bread is too sweet for my liking but nothing in the world I've ever had rivals English dairy. Just nothing is as good. And, btw, I'd sell organs to get just a single serving of batter from a chip shop.
I only have it on Christmas haha
No wonder why all Americans have diabetes
This is a buzzfeed video, they haven't exactly carried out a national survey
Who said the British can't have sweet and savory things for breakfast...?
They did.

Swirly_ Whisper_ Purrr42
Not exactly, it does make her seem ignorant though.
Crimson Nexoria We're all ignorant of certain things and we can all learn more. I don't see why others are calling her an idiot. That's a very overused and abused word. As if other people haven't made wrong assumptions like that in their life.
This reminds me so much of my childhood. When mom, dad and I sometimes took the boat from Göteborg or Norge over to England, and where we sometimes ate this kind of food at hotels or so called "bed and breakfasts".
Jeez your lifestyle is better then I'm stood here drinking London tap water

There's a separate video of Americans trying beans on toast but the bread is hardly toasted and unbuttered and I don't think they heated the beans. :(
LaraPlayz Also gotta drain a lot of the liquid from the beans so your toast isn't soggy. And put cheese on top. Yum.
“Deep fried in butter” haha....we would just say deep fat fried 😂 nothing better than an English Breakfast apart from maybe the Scottish version....with haggis 😍 yum!!

In the UK they are sold by a number of big companies like Heinze, HP, Cross and Blackwell, Branston and few smaller makes but are generally small haricot beans cooked in a variety of sauces ready to be heated for serving on a typical full English Breakfast, beans on Toast or with a Jacket potatoe, but we get them in Tomato sauce, Curry Sause or BBQ Sause and are a top food in the UK.

My great grandmother was from Surrey, and my great grandfather met her after WWI. I remember her making this back when I was 7 and 8 years old and went 😲 because I was just used to having my Wheaties or corn flakes with some fruit and then seeing the huge plate of food I was like is that for everyone? 😆 she didnt make the breakfast very often but when company would come spend the night the first morning she would make her version of this breakfast. Most people most mornings? As a Brit, I can confirm that's a massive fib.
i doubt this is typical. i'd eat the tomato and some unpoisoned tay
Massive. This is what we eat on a weekend....ONE day or on a holiday or special day.
That was also really British. ‘Massive fib.’

Also Weetabix with warm milk is a good shout on some days.
I'm not sure about everyone else in the UK but for me, a cooked breakfast (English breakfast to some) isn't really a staple/something I have everyday. Once a fortnight is about right. It is definitely a common dish but if it was every single day that would a bit repetitive and quite bad for your health.
Btw I live in Scotland :)
Of course, that pretty much applies everywhere. Not a lot of people would eat the same course every morning.

A full cooked UK breakfast, like this shown, is a rare treat. We wouldn't live long if we ate this greasy calorific meal every day! Normal breakfast is a mix, depending on personal taste of cereals, toast, eggs, museli, yoghurt, with tea coffee and/or juice. The cooked breakfast tends to be a weekend thing (when you have time to make it), or bought when out at a cafe or restaurant.
I have this at the most once a month. Only ever on Sundays. usually it’s just a bowl of cereal or a slice of toast, probably just even a cup of coffee.
lol even though it may be a traditional english breakfast almost no english people have it everyday. i almost never have a traditional breakfasr.

Katie T. KT. Hi initials and name sharing friend! Also English breakfast is the best, but only on weekends. I'd rather not be dead by the time I'm 30.
RustedArmour haha, yeah they are so fatty
Our local supermarket is Morrisons and they have a good Cafe where you can get a cooked breakfast.
I often went for the full English compared to the Full Scottish because you got the link sausages instead of the Lorne (square) and you also got the Hash Browns but I didn't really fancy the fried bread and would usually ask if we could swap the fried bread for a tattie scone (Potato scone is a Scottish product and much better for you than fried bread, less messy as well).
And I would usually wash it down with a mug of tea.
This is a normal breakfast for me, I'm also from the west midlands and if we couldn't have a big breakfast it could be bacon/sausage sandwich or beans on toast. Black pudding sausage is always a must, cut and fried. Tomatoes are usually simmered down first, sometimes spread on bread or in a ramekin. I'm quite healthy btw.
Good luck with the heart attack but just onea ask how the hell do u have that much time in the morning.......................my bro
Love how she tryna make beans sound fancy "imported from England" no from tesco

Except Tesco isn't in America and the heinz beans sold in North America probably use a different recipe.

I think I should give a bit on input on this. In the colonies richer people have something similar to this most mornings. For the bread we simply toast it and apply so butter on top. We then usually have one or two fried eggs and jelly, we usually cut the eggs up on the toast and then apply the jelly giving it a sweet and salty taste. Some people also put in beans. The other stuff is mostly as a treat and rarely is eaten in the colonies and even in Britain is mostly a Brunch food.
We certainly don't have it most mornings. When I was living in London where there are a lot of cafes, I might have one every other saturday, and absolutely any time I stayed in a hotel, I think I've only made a full full English about 5 times at home, and only with guests, on a hangover, so many things to cook. I do think that many Brits, once a weekend will have some reduced form of a full english though, eggs and bacon, sausage and beans etc etc.
1:44 The way he says "lovely" makes me like him for some reason lol
Tbh that is probably a lot less than most, I couldn't count how many I've had
He said lonely
same
Yeah same 😂
I dunno. I feel like a lot of American breakfast staples were kind of borrowed from Europe (like sausage, ham, hash browns, oatmeal, toast, bagels, muffins, and such). The sweet stuff like pancakes, maple syrup, and cereal were probably us or Canada, as well as other more regional American breakfast foods like grits, biscuits and gravy, scrapple, chicken and waffles, and American bacon (aka the best bacon).
MaiCohWolf US bacon is like paper, too much fat on it - UK bacon is the perfect one, more meat and not too thin
SPExJR I've had UK style bacon and it's good too, but I still like our bacon better. The bacon here is only crappy if you buy the cheap stuff from the store. I always buy thick sliced bacon and I often get it from a butcher shop up the street. I don't get it often since I don't have a lot of money, but it's a nice treat every few months or so. I like US bacon better because it's salty and has a nice crunch. Sure, you start off with a bunch and end up with a bookmark, but that just makes it more rare and valuable… like treasure.
well i guess american breakfast "borrowed" breakfast from europe but thats because america is made up of many ethnicities and cultures from around the world and also america was colonized by europeans so:p
+MaiCohWolf Pancakes that you would get in like IHOP were invented in Scotland and the peoples of the Iroquois invented maple syrup. And "American bacon" was invented in Europe. It's just bacon cut from the belly rather than the back.
UNITDW Well, cutting bacon from the belly rather than the back may have been a European thing (i would think lots of cultures do that though because lots of cultures eat bacon). American bacon is usually flavored with lots of seasonings - I always read that our version was developed in the Ozarks or something. The Iroquois are just as American/Canadian as any of the rest of us…
Many thanks to the Scots though for sharing their pancakes! ;)
Its kind of funny how so many cultures can come together to invent new foods!
The only time we have this in our English home is on a rainy Sunday morning or in a hotel.
Nobody can be bothered to cook this every day but personally I think it’s the best breakfast ever. Not a fan of waffles and sickly sweet pancake type breakfasts (and yes you can buy and make and eat those things for breakfast in the uk too!)
For Brits viewing this: there is a loosely equivalent American full breakfast, but it can vary quite a bit depending on individual tastes. In general it consists of sage breakfast sausage patties or links, eggs cooked to preference, hash brown potatoes (similar to Swiss Rösti), streaky bacon, pancakes with maple syrup, buttered toast with jam or, alternatively buttered biscuits with jam. What Americans call biscuits is somewhat similar to a soft, spongy scone. This is generally chased by orange juice or coffee.
Other popular items include sausage gravy (ground sage sausage in a milk and pork fat roux) poured over biscuits, diner style omelettes, corned beef hash, country ham with red eye gravy (made from pork fat and coffee), grits (corn mush), home fries (diced potatoes). As you get into the southwest it’s typical for many of these foods to take on a bit of a Mexican flair, often wrapped in burritos and doused with spicy pepper sauce.
"On their own they seem lonely" THAT IS BECAUSE EVERTHING ON YOUR PLATE SHOULD BE MIXED TO COMBINE THE TASTES
The_crazed_swordsman thats exactly what i was thinking
EXACTLY YOU GET A BIT OF EVERYTHING IN ONE BITE
The_crazed_swordsman great minds think alike 😂😏❤️

Yeah.. we don’t eat that every day.. normally on a Saturday morning after a big night out. We’re very proud of a full English.. it’s up there with our Sunday roast dinners which are heavenly 🇬🇧😎👌🏻
Ive been to this pub in LA it makes you feel right at home
I don't understand it when people say "Ugh! I can't have _____ for breakfast, gross!"
Literally give me any food in the morning and I'll eat it.
Lol I try
Breakfast food is good any time of the day, and any kind of food is good for breakfast. That's why breakfast is the most important meal of the day, irrespective of when you have it.
you're meant to have it to break the fast (period of sleeping usually)
'In America you can have something sweet, something savoury' because yunno you can't do that in England cuz it breaks stereotypical law which we can't break or Americans will stop thinking that we're posh idiots
Ikr
Charlie Hill ikr so annoying
If they came to Liverpool then they would be in for a shock😂
Charlie Hill this comment is basically my life
Kate Crist ikr
I grew up in the USA but have strong British roots. That looks lovely... throw in a cup of tea and pure heaven. Granted, you wouldn't eat like that every morning... maybe something like that for a special day.
Try get a bit of everything on the fork at once. It’s so good! If I could be bothered to make it every morning I really would😍🤤
They act like this is the ONLY thing we eat 😂🤦🏼♂️
maxlovesthestre Okay? How were they supposed to know that? They don't fuckin live in England. They knew it was breakfast, and when you say Breakfast what do you think of. It's not like anyone fuckin told them.
Albert Styles shhhhhhhhhhhhh
Albert Styles bloody hell mate, calm down
@@albertoooooooo They thought that just because it's called an English breakfast, it's the only breakfast we ever have
Y’all think we only eat sugar and meat, lol it goes both ways
Most people in Britain only really have cereal and toast in the morning. You would usually have a full English breakfast if you were to stay in a hotel
Then as an American, I can assure you we love toast and cereal here xD
El Jay I’ve never known someone to do that. But it’s probably true as most pubs do an English breakfast as well as drinks
El Jay I usually just have cereal and toast . I only really have an English breakfast when I stay over at a hotel or traveling
Jacob Brown i have a full English breakfast every sunday
Jacob Brown exactly!!!
I last had a British full breakfast 10 years ago. In my life I have only occasionally eaten one, usually when I have stayed in a hotel. These days I eat Muesli when I am at home and eat my own pot of instant porridge when I am at a hotel to save money.
Often scrambled egg is an alternative to fried egg and sometimes fried bread. I've never liked these separate little bowls on a plate and would prefer beans loose on the plate. You might also get an additional course of buttered toast with jam or marmalade to eat first. Mushrooms are often the weak point depending how they have been cooked - fried or boiled and sliced or whole. I love cutting the toast and other items and dipping into egg yolk or tomato juice. Very few have this every day, Its quite likely that some regular customers of Greasy Joe type cafes, like lorry drivers and construction workers, will have it every day to provide a days calories and protein.
I'm british and us brits have to agree,
AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT
Agreed
'In America you can bave dessert for breakfast' In America you can have Mc Diabetes for breakfasr
*breakfast
McDonald's don't serve any burgers in the morning so...
Mcdonalds is in your country too lmao
In England you can have dessert for breakfast too... But it's just not NORMAL in England XD
When I had McDonalds in America it was SOOO much saltier than ours, I didn't even think that was possible because the McDonald's in the UK is pretty salty too. Also, they have this all day breakfast option which I thought was pretty cool
Love my English breakfast when we go out
The only time I have a brekkie every morning is when I'm on holiday or when my Mom cooks it for me when my family goes down for Christmas.
It's too much hassle and washing up to do every morning. You don't have the time either. Sometimes you don't want to swim in grease for your breakfast.
"In America we can have sweet we can have savory" We can have it in Britain too it's not agains the law.
*Against
Too*
that's the average American female for ya
Karl Wilson your comment made me laugh amongst a lot of awful comments. XD summed up what I was thinking to be honest
Plus I personally haven't ever had an American Breakfast, but by the fact that the person at the start said the bacon in America is much more greasy, makes me feel really sick, as our bacon is quite greasy too!
Sooo true
Beth Machin It's just a different form of the same grease. Bacon in the UK is thicker and a lot wider while bacon here in the US is a thinner cut and is usually fried more, but isn't necessarily soaking in grease depending on who made it
Chris Recinos You've literally just said the complete opposite of what the OP said. Do you even know how much extra fat and sugar goes into American food to keep the economy going?
It's a LOT.
Beth Machin Well... this isn't an average "American breakfast" like you might think of it as, as many Americans eat many different things, but I've had breakfasts like this before:
I call this the Lumberjack, (thanks for the name swipe Denny's hehehehehe)
2-3 eggs, usually over easy because I like them that way.
A little ham steak with a bone in it.
A stack of medium sized pancakes.
Some bacon.
Toast with butter/jam.
Sausage links.
Glass o' milk or orange juice, whatever you prefer.
And some television.
Maricruz Brujo You're acting like Enland is some super healthy country, as if their food is sans fat and sugar. News flash, it's still an obese country.
I love English Breakfasts though I live in the USA. My order came in for Blood Sausage and am looking forward to trying it. I buy Bushes Bake Beans and they are the best.
I've been eating blood sausage with my English Breakfasts every since and I love it.
There are Scottish,Welsh and Irish versions of this too.
That's a breakfast I'd eat before I like.... built a house with my bare hands
Yes it is! It's really a builders breakfast! 😂
That comment made me laugh
Ikr!
"America you can have dessert for breakfast." America in a nutshell.
+Euron Greyjoy poptarts anyone?
Americans being Americans
And if Donald trump wins I hope all Americans move to Canada
Twenty Two Gaming If Trump wins I'll move to America.
King....just as many Brits eat sugary crap for breakfast as Americans do. You seem to think that only America has a weight problem when, obesity is the thing that is just about single handily tearing the NHS down!
Full English is normally the staple for a hangover (of which you eat about a quarter and feel sick) or when you are going on a stag do and you do the wetherspoons fry up before you get hammered.
Sorry, from America here, and I must say, beans are DEFINITELY a breakfast food in America. In New England (AKA northeast) beans are a HUGE thing for breakfast. I see it on every menu if I go out with friends and/or family for breakfast.
And everyone, don’t knock it till you try it. Very savory and a great source of protein in the morning. It’s sooooo good.
Your name is amazing u should go to parliment
