This looks like a great place to ride. It reminds me a lot of Colorado, USA. There are many epic rides there. I really ejoyed riding in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.

It really is. I will have to invest more time to get to know more of Colorado - it definitely has so much opportunities to ride. Thank you for chiming in!

All that and you don't mention the Stella Alpina Rally held in July each year.
I first did this road on a Norton 750 Atlas in 1982 and again in 1995 on an early Triumph 900 Trophy while attending the rally.
In 2004 I went back when the rally wasn't on and did it on my 900 Tiger and finally in 2008 in my Discovery but can't count that.
You don't really need those trick offroad bikes to do this trail, just some care and common sense.

Thanks for your input and apologies for the tardy response - I am just now seeing the entire comment and not simply the first line (it was hidden due to the space). To be totally honest, I am partial and biased to the opinion that ADV touring is most meaningful and best done alone or in small private group of friend of 2-3 max. Especially a mountain line this, I believe, deserves to be experienced in solitude. Thank you for bringing it to the attenuation of viewers that there are other ways to experience it and in the process meet great riders from all over, build relationships with the ADV community, etc. I, hover, prefer to promote a more personal direct experience with these unique spaces that gift themselves to us. Also, my third visit was shared with a ton of other riders and jeep[s and it really deteriorated the experience, if I am honest. I did not expect to ave to wait on traffic that day 3k meters in the mountains. I also agree that you don't necessarily need a dedicated ADV beast for this road, but this channel is mostly geared toward those riders pursuing long distance, extended journeys, so I assume they will be top heavy and on heavy leaden. Thank you for your input - any suggestions for an epic ride/road to share?

@@kloppskalli The goal was to hopefully trigger riders to go and see this amazing valley by themselves. It's worth a trip. Please stay tuned for the next episode featuring my most favorite road in Utah. It's like riding on Mars!

Thank you thank you. I hope you get the chance to go. Episode two will be about the white rim road, one of my alltume favorite rides - like riding on Mars. See you then.
