  • Please Note: Exploring Abandoned locations especially mines and caves can be dangerous or deadly. I don't condone or encourage anyone to enter an Abandoned structure. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, I seek out permission. I simply go to document its history before it's gone and leave things the way I find them. I assume all the risks & responsibility in doing so. Please don't attempt to do this on your own.

These fan houses are so rare. It was so cool to see one. I can't imagine what they sounded like when they were blasting air down into the mine.

If you hooked up enough hoses you could use the hillside gravity to siphon out some of the water.

They stole the brass bearings off fan. That stub was torched off that was where it was driven at 342 time

Have you seen any renovations being done while there? Supposedly they are wanting to preserve it all? Oil house looks nice.

Wouldn't there be official records kept somewhere of these underground works, or does the paperwork just die with the company that made it?

The fact that the fan is still intact blows my mind. Same style as the one they tore down in WB. Awesome stuff. 🪨⛏️🤘
