- It's been ten months since Rob has stayed overnight on the land, but now that the summer is in full swing Rob feels that it's time to take back the reins of his edible forest garden homestead and move back in full time.
In this brief June update Rob shows us his revamped yurt, a couple of thriving edible specimens, plus a hive of humming honeybees.

Hello again Rob, great see you in the garden again and hear about your new changes. Grass always amazes me in that no matter what we or the weather throw at it, it bounces back like a giant! The shepherds hut just needs a yellow trim to complete the look, I think. I see your goal of making the yurt more cozy and comfortable was achieved. It does look more spacious. Well done and thanks for sharing my friend. ✌️

Hello Rob,
Thanks for the tour around your forest garden. Its always refreshing to see how your progressing. Nature has a habit of creeping up on you. But living with it is always going to be the best approach. I love nature in every respect except brambles with are intend in slashing me to bits. I have loads of strimming and mowing to do in our wood. But this will only be done after the wild flowers have finished. Thanks for the video.

Have you overcome the rules for living on your own land . One of my sisters and her husband are in Langport and it took them nearly five years to get planning to build on their land
