If the first guy slammed on his brakes, then his brakes must be nonexistent
slammed on his calipers
Flintstone feet brakes
Right like maybe at the last second, well past when you can see the trucker wasn’t stopping.
Driver wasn't paying attention. That was a "stale" green, the trucker assumed the car wasn't going to make the light and started his turn. While the trucker was wrong, the Honda driver was sleep at the switch...
Easy car upgrade....
The first cammer had more than enough time to notice the trucker turning, He probably just wanted a new car.
Absolutely, or was looking at a phone.
ZERO braking until right before impact. Pay attention around trucks... Driver is lucky to be alive, those tank valves saved the car from crushing him, nevermind the bigger hazard of being stuck in a crushed car with stuck doors, as flammable fuel spills out from the truck.
You mean he wanted a new life and wanted to get rid of his current one.
Or there's a "rare" chance that their brakes sucked but I highly doubt it.
Seems like he stepped on accelerator instead...
:18 Truck starts turn :21 hits truck. Speeding and on phone.
#15. 4:11 Michael, you were driving in the center turn lane where both directions of traffic can enter. You should have waited until the turn lane actually opened… the Altima should’ve checked their mirrors but you shouldn’t be driving in the middle turn lane….
Michael has nobody to blame but himself, and then they want to act like the victim.
Plus he was zipping past traffic in the lane to his right. It's a turn lane, not a passing lane.
It also looks like the video was blurred to hide the yellow lines he crossed.
The evil in cammers entitlement is more apparent in each video episode.
Hey, Michael here. I meant to get in the next turn lane, not the one I got in. However, me crossing the yellow line wasn't illegal (in Florida at least), as it is a left and right turn lane. The illegal thing was me accidentally continuing through to the next turn lane ahead. I'm not acting like I am a victim or anything, I made a mistake and submitted it.
That's a cheep way to clean the bugs from your grill.
*applause* good one!!
Now I understand why there are so many little birds hanging around at rest stops
Yup, common house sparrow, they love to bathe themselves outside my window, both in the bird bath, and in the fine sand in the flower bed next to it as well.
Slammed on the brakes?? Doesn't even look like he tried. Could have at least turned to the left if the brakes didn't work.
Turning left would have been the worst choice, just sliding into oncoming traffic. Better to be in the ditch or a snowbank than total a car in a wreck.
@ChAoSeFfEcT the car got totaled anyway.... there's not enough room to brake
Dude, did you watch the same video? He clearly slams on the brakes, but it was not enough
@@ChAoSeFfEcT - I think he was talking about a different vehicle.
@@mattsharkey311 The nose does not even dip... He barely pressed them.
3:56 hey, tip from a trucker. See how that front drive wheel is wobbly? its not bent, the rock is jammed between the two tires. This is something drivers are required to check for before driving the vehicle, that company is liable for damages. I dont know when but there have been people killed from rocks like this firing out the back of a duel straight through someones windshield, hence why we are required to check for rocks by law.
Not only this, but you can even see the small puffs of cement dust coming from between the rear tire prior to the chunk coming loose from the front set.
A truck was shooting rocks out of its wheels on the highway once, I tried to stay back, but a rock flew into the car in front of me and then bounced off and hit my windshield
Sometimes I seriously think that people just want a new car when there are many instances when they could have stopped or swerved to avoid the collision.
Yeah, I don't want to deal with insurance. I wouldn't get the money for an equivalent truck anyways, and I don't have full coverage on my older car so it's in my best interest to NOT get into a crash with either... And that's ignoring injury factor to myself or passengers.
Pay attention, learn the common mistakes that happen on the road, lights and laws aren't brick walls.
5:32 Man forgot to slap the payload and say "that ain't going anywhere."
🤣🤣 So true, so true!
😂😂
How did the first driver not see this happening and brake?
Yeah that was dangerous. Maybe distracted? Pretty easy to stop for that, I would have been able to stop my truck while towing a loaded trailer in that time, and when I drove box trucks loaded with metal (that could crush me if i crashed like that)I tried to anticipate that exact scenario and stay at an appropriate speed to be able to stop.
@@volvo09it's like he didn't even try to brake.
@@thesuperking445 He hit the brakes after the collision
@@gibbs1966 even is he did hot his brakes must been some bad shakes
Probably was distracted and when he saw the yellow light he stepped on it. He paid no attention to the truck turning in front of him. You can see the light briefly before it disappears from view behind the truck and it was yellow.
Clip# 13 - Michael was an idiot for entering a 'turn lane' before the actual road markings showing the true turn lane for the light ahead. Michael turned into a center-dual turn lane, Michael should be found 50% liable for that screw up.
Fun fact, class 3 trailers are almost never empty. Class 3 liquids tend to produce flamable/explosive vapors as we dont just let those vapors out into the atmosphere so even once the liquid is gone its simply replaced with the same volume vapor. Not every liquid but definately the fuels.
More dangerous as vapor than liquid fuel , more volatile.
That first video could've ended a whole lot worse... The driver had 3 business days to stop or avoid that accident. I don't care who's in the right, I'm not driving into the side of a tanker and risk unaliving myself in a major explosion...
Exactly my thoughts! And did you see the spark of fire right after the collision? It definitely could’ve been a lot worse!
Shady insurance company’s always trying to save $ and blame the victim
You can remove the word shady and the statement would still be true.
He literally didn’t bother to slow down tho Caleb should have been partly at fault
Company's? Did you even school, bro?
@@TheOwlGuy777 hopefully he doesn't trucker either, lol.
@@noahshields507 It is QUITE evident by the pictures of the forte that he was at full deceleration by the camera dipping down as soon as the BMW started to pull out less than 100ft away and as nose of car was down with bumper shoved down and hood way up upon impact. However, what Caleb could have done was divert to other side as road as it was clear. The company was clearly trying to avoid paying.
0:22 damn that was genuinely such a close call. You can see the fire.
Michael is at fault, he entered the turn lane too soon, into the opposite sides turn lane
Exactly. It wasn't his lane until he reached the dedicated left turn lane.
Probably depends on where it happened. I remember a video on here where the exact same thing happened except the submitter was performing a multi-car pass and the car at the front turned left into him. They found the car turning at fault because he was supposed to check his mirror first. I don't really agree with that one and Michael was definitely being reckless, but he may not have been found at fault if contact occurred.
Not necessarily - it depends on where it happened. In a lot of states, it's the obligation of the person changing lanes (even if it's entering the turn lane at it's starting point) to make sure there isn't anyone in the lane they're moving to. And yes, even though the turn lane started up the road from where the camera car moved over, it's also perfectly acceptable to merge over early when there's traffic stacked up that way - as long as you don't pass any other potential turns, ie driveways, it's perfectly legal. What is not legal is to ride in that lane past left turn options to get to an intersection sooner - that's the no-go.
Again, these rules/laws DO change state to state, so definitely check your local laws to know your situation. 🙂
Exactly what I was going to say 😅
Wasn't the line solid thou for the other driver
00:48 The Honda made a full physical recovery? Wow, not bad with that damage
I'm assuming you're being sarcastic, but on the off-chance you're not, the narrator said that "he" (the driver) made a full recovery, not the Honda.
Michael F. YOU are at fault there. Notice the markings on the road: YELLOW solid line on your side. The Nissan was correct in not entering the turn lane until they did, though they still should have made sure there weren't people breaking the law like YOU.
No it would be a 50/50 call because Michael crossed yellow solid line but the Nissan didn't check their blindspot. It isn't fully Michael's fault because he shouldn't have crossed the yellow solid line but the altima should have checked their blindspot.(If a collision did take place).
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hey, I'm the submitter Michael. Safe to say not my proudest moment. I was not paying attention enough and saw the left turn arrow and not that I still had a solid yellow line. Worst thing is I drive this route almost every day. I didn't notice I entered the wrong turn lane until when the Altima pulled out. I shared it not because I thought I was in the right, but because it was a close call.
Still Michael here. While I didn't mean to enter that turn lane, that wasn't illegal as it is a left and right turn lane; look at the arrows on the road. The illegal thing was me driving through to a second turn lane (the one I meant to be in)
@@parmesanforpresident4156 Well at least you didn't get into an accident
#1 Dang that one really gave you guys the bird....
ummm you conveniently missed that Michael F was using a center turn lane (yellow on both sides) as a passing lane having moved over before the proper turn lane starts....
Don't know what the rules are where you live, but where I live, it is allowed. You just have to make sure the lane is clear before you move over.
@@brianmcdonald6519 I highly doubt that. It's never permitted for you to cross double yellow lines to pass, as Michael F. did to get into a turn lane. You also can't cross a solid white line lane marker either, but people do, especially near intersections and on some parts of highways. Just because people do it doesn't mean it is allowed. It's against the law, period. Michael F. was wrong, he was required to wait until the turn lane opened up before moving over. The only exception, of course, if he is turning into one of the shopping centers prior to the intersection, which is what that yellow center lane divider is for.
Hey, I'm Michael the submitter. I didn't mean to enter that turn lane, I wasn't paying attention. But in Florida you can enter a turn lane with a solid yellow (you can see a left turn arrow in the lane). Not saying I'm completely faultless bc I went through two turning lanes, but crossing the yellow line isn't illegal here at least.
8:12 My Tesla Model 3 went to Park at the car wash! I vacuumed the trunk prior to car wash, and the trunk must have not closed tight. In the middle of car wash (after flapping wipes) the message came up that trunk was open. The car went to Park by itself! I quickly switched to N because there is another car behind me.
I have to drive rental cars through a car wash and the amount of times I’ve had the collision avoidance system come on while in the car wash is actually infuriating. Luckily, we have a rule where only cars allowed in the wash at a time. But I can see how that happens.
@4:27 Why is Michael in the median turn lane.? When you are supposed to enter into the broken white line. when you make your left turn.
I think entering early is allowed depending on traffic to a certain distance
@@mrexists5400 I highly doubt that. It's never permitted for you to cross double yellow lines to pass, as Michael F. did to get into a turn lane. the concrete chunk was stuck between the left 2 tires of the rear axle.
4:11 Why did you cross 2 sides of yellow lines?🤔🤔🤔🤔
I agree, if an accident had happened, I assume it would have been 50/50. Always watch for people pulling the stupid stunt Michael did.
A lot of people drive through a center turn lane near an intersection
@@johnfoltz8183 Doesn't make it legal, but again, this is why you watch for people doing that. If an accident happened and it was up to me again, I'd make it 50/50 liability, Michael made an illegal maneuver and the other driver shifted into an occupied lane without looking. I've seen cops pull people over for doing what Michael did.
Yet again, continuing at speed on the inside of a line of stopped traffic causes an accident. Who would have guessed? Not Mark, obviously.
Plus, he was driving in the oncoming lanes turn lane prior to the accident.
It's still not his fault. People turning are ALWAYS at fault. I don't think it should be legal tbh. Too many accidents happen
Last clip about the Rivian visited by the bird, I guess for an insect eater, a free snack from a non petrol smelling cool place is a gift from Bird Gods LOL
Pro tip, some insurance companies will deny things a few times before accepting them as unofficial policy. If they deny something, keep asking.
Reaction time of the first submitter: SNAIL LEVEL.
Yes, the bird is definitely a House Sparrow 😂
Am I the only person who saw in clip 20 that the car cought fire look at the left when the hood gets pushed up
4:33 clip 14 happened almost the same way to me and my 1996 Camry. I was turning left at a T intersection and someone blew their red light and hit me. Unfortunately, I did not have a dashcam, and my dad (the owner of my car) gave up fighting the other party's insurance company. We sold that car for $600 and bought a 2009 Camry for $10k a year later. The new one DOES have a dashcam now, obviously! Living in a college town is the worst. I was almost hit twice just today while riding my bike!
#16 That chunk came from the between the tires. Trucks with dual wheels are notorious for being able to have rocks get stuck between the duals when having to deliver to jobsites.
It is much more dangerous if it is empty than full. Vapor is what is explosive.
#20 is either distracted or super blind/slow. 100% avoidable
they clearly were not paying attention!
#8 - Holy crap! This is the first time in my life I've heard of someone owning a Chevy Metro. I owned one when I was in my late teens and every piece of information about the car is for *Geo* Metro. It's almost like Chevy Metro never existed...but I know it did, and now I have proof, thanks to Brendan.
You're very welcome! Mine (the one in the clip) is a 2000, the last year model of the hatchback, or "coupe". I think most Geo models were badged as Chevys after 97. I absolutely love that thing! Couldn't have asked for a better first car, really. 👍

The illegal thing was me accidentally continuing through to the next turn lane ahead. I'm not acting like I am a victim or anything, I made a mistake and submitted it. Insurance would most likely say it was 50/50, but I can't find anything online saying that you can't drive through two turn lanes in Florida. Still, I didn't mean to do it 😭
2:58 “I don’t care who’s coming, I’ll pulling out now! I don’t care if I get into a wreck.”
8:28 Hey, my clip made it in! 😅
This channel is good, I watch this when ever I’m bored
It’s also amazing how once a crash happens, everyone starts to blame each other. You took the risk without paying attention and ended up in a wreck. Then the word dash came gets mentioned and they know they are screwed.
Because of your videos, I put a camera in my mom’s car
Love you Wham!!❤
Great video as usual. 🙏🏽🍀💫
Very smart birdy. I wonder if that bird does that all the time. I wonder if other birds do also? Is it a learned behavior?
But I digress.

I'm a truck driver and I see this all the time in the warmer months at truck stops and loads/unloads. It's basically a free meal for the birds.

7:13 Never EVER turn left thru a two lane road where you can't see the right lane. I had a tenant do this in front of our house and it totaled his Mustang... and collarbone. Thankfully it was right in front of the house so we could get him help right away.
I worked at two car washes and I was always astounded by the amount of people who hit the brakes in the tunnel or at the end or don’t shift their car into neutral. 5 people hit each other, 20+ only didn’t because we hit the emergency stop. People were doing it long before self driving cars lol.

11:33 Anyone notice the time bar in the top left lagging?
"Michael" was driving for far to long in the shared left turn line. The other driver waited appropriately before entering the lane. Drivers don't expect to be passed by vehicles blasting down the left turn lane!
"Braden" Might have been driving well below the speed limit but snow can't read speed limit signs. He was going too fast for conditions.
7:06 Mark was going way too fast with traffic in the other lane slow/stopped .
100% signage on the right side of the road was a warning.
Yeah, "blasting" down an empty lane is just asking for an accident.
If you ride a motorcycle (or don't want your car wrecked) you never do that.
Even though it's legally not your fault, it's stupid and staying out of the hospital is the smarter choice, or not having to deal with insurance.

It’s crazy how US trucks have no side-impact protection.
At least here in Sweden all trucks have side impact protection that prevents a car from getting beneath the trailer

Good job to the working birdie in the last clip!
#1. Where in Elyria was that?
My first car wash with my Y it automatically applied the brakes, didn’t know about car wash mode.
20. If the driver slammed on the break, it must have been very bad breaks.
15. I'm not from the US, but is it legal to cross a yellow line?
12. It is dangerous to try to turn left in this situation to avoid a collision because when the driver that drive on the wrong side of the road tries to go back to the right line it will be a collision as you can see here.
10. I know the fault was the other driver, but we all know that this is a common collision and therefore you should slow down and drive with caution so you can stop in time. It can't be the first time Mark drives here.
07:05 when traffic in the next lane is at a long backed up stop, don't speed down the road beside them, expect someone to pull through in front of you any second, go no faster than 15-20 mph max and watch super close.. this crash was 100% preventable....
Mark: 9:20 The semi truck one was not at fault!! She was supposed to back up in case they need to fit down a narrow road. Hence why you are not supposed to be so close at the solid heavy line in the front and you are supposed to give the person behind you space to back up (but people do not do that)
Now thats wam bam
