    Why does the diamond counter lever need to be mounted in the first place to the styli.? I thought it would be grown in one shape and then machine altogether.
    How is it mounted by glue..? what doesn't need to be done could be a friction fit by expansion and then shrinking should be fine, and you could use a sapphire counter lever with the nude diamond in the same way. if he get this message I would like a answer please thanks! Or any diamond faces out there.
    You could use something like a scale to give you azimuth what beams a laser at the centre of the styli it should give you the reflection either side these reflections can be picked up by the device and give you a figure that's more accurate than a scope could be the scope is relying on the connection of wires what wouldn't be 100% accurate to each other so should be a lot more accurate then the scope
    Do you know Michael has there ever been a vertical counter lever this should be better how come there's not been one made yet if there hasn't?
    3D printed arm is that resin-based or what plastic?

    When you say this $7k cartridge provides plenty of detail, does that mean that all the pops and clicks have much more detail when using this cartridge?

    • @patthewoodboy
      @patthewoodboy Před 2 lety +3

      the pops and clicks are more often a result of a bad cartridge. My analogue system doesnt reveal many click and pops on a vinyl record , unless they are big scatches. Its extremely revealing of the music :-)

    • @AnalogPlanet
      @AnalogPlanet  Před 2 lety +1

      Most records have to pops and clicks if they are clean and that includes really old ones.

    • @cesarnotary
      @cesarnotary Před 2 lety

      This company makes so many fine products, it is a shame they are most known from cheap DJ cartridges. Audiophiles know this company as having a long track record of producing outstanding products at a wide range of pricing. For me, $7k is more than I would spend. But since upgrading my analogue side of my audio system, my dollar limits have moved up. SO the nice thing is that Ortofon usually has a cartridge at any price point. Which means you can select a price, find an Ortofon, see what other cartridges compare and pull the trigger.

    For the price of 6.500 Euro, this has to make good music out of bad music😂. You can get excellent cartridges for less than 1000 Euros. IMO this is great Hifi Voodoo. Today there is only expensive audiophile vinyl that might make such an expensive system worthwhile. The standard vinyl pressings for example from GZ Media or MPO would sound even more awful with an analytical system.
