    The Nemo theory is an amazingly interesting one. However, if Marlin really did just pretend Nemo existed as a coping mechanism then only he would be able to see him. So how do you explain the tons of other fish who can see Nemo and who interact with him in the movie?

    • @miracon000fez
      @miracon000fez Před 2 lety +40

      Maby they knew what clown fish do (I mean if u were a fish and you saw clown fish doing what clown fish do you'd probably be sorry for the male who had to witness that) and felt sorry for Marlen so much so that when they saw him pretending that Nemo (nobody) exists they decided to play along with the guy so he doesn't go completely crazy.Honestly I think after Marlen created Nemo in his head, he doesn't leave the sea anemones and the whole movie was Marlen's copping mechanism and the fish who interacted with Nemo were just fish that he saw swimming around (including dory at some point) and and the sight of those fish contributed to the delusion his mind was telling him to protect him from trauma.

    To add to the realistic Lion King part:
    The moment Simba became a young adult, either he left on his own or Mufasa would've exiled him in order to avoid inbreeding.
    Edit: Also, in real life, if there are any disputes over food, the lionesses will attack the dominant male. And since there were issues over food in the movie, the lionesses would’ve attacked Scar.

    • @KBWeeds
      @KBWeeds Před 2 lety +166

      CORRECT! AND Simba would have never been welcomed back to the pride.
      EDIT: Simba wouldn’t have been exiled nor would Mufasa been grooming him to be king. He would have been taught from birth that he is to leave once he reaches sexual maturity. Disney messed up all species in this movie.

      @@andrewgan557 The “pride” is familial system that lived in fictional “Pride Land”. I was referring to Pride not talking about location. Simba would have never returned to either nor been welcomed back by lionesses period.
      If, and when Scar & Mufasa died the rest of the Lionesses wouldn’t have welcomed another male so easily unless they went into heat and purposely attracted one.
      “In fact, lion prides are matrilineal societies where the males barely stick around long enough to form the types of familial relationships shown in the Disney film, an all-new version of which comes out this July.
      Females define their territory. They’ve grown up there and have been listening to neighbors roaring their whole lives,” says Packer, a National Geographic Society grantee. And if their pride gets too big, the females will even carve out a new territory next door for their daughters to take over and start their own pride. Ninety-nine percent of all the members of a lion pride are related females, he says
      …The males, on the other hand, are transitory. They come and go, mostly spending their time fighting each other and teaching male cubs how to survive when they eventually leave the pride. Males can’t stay in the pride they’re born into because they’re related to all of the lions there.”

    • @Rhaenarys
      @Rhaenarys Před 2 lety +49

      The part he got wrong was the fact that Scar wouldn't have killed either cub as they could've been his, for all they know, and plus, even if they weren't, it's still his genes, which is all that matters. The fact Scar was there at all shows that the brothers were working together since being kicked out of their pride, and didn't have any plans on separating anyways, making it more of a joint "rule". They would be taking turns watching the kids and patroling/marking territory, which both would do the marking.
      Had Scar been a non related lion, than the cubs would be in danger. But since they were, he would've actually just taken on the role of "father" to both.

    The pressure doesnt "crush" the body, because the body is mostly water to begin with.
    So the internal pressure of the body would match the external pressure.
    The way it kills most creatures is it compacts the cell membranes making them stiff and impedes the cells ability to take in nutrients and expel waste.
    It kills you on a cellular level.
    Now it would collapse the swim bladders of surface fish and make it difficult for them to stay upright , or even swim.
    Fish that live near the bottom of the ocean cant be acclimated to living near the surface because their cell membranes expand and their bodies collapse into a "goo like" pile of tissues.
