Thanks Ricky and Chris, brilliant podcast, again super information. This is something I had never heard of. I've been struggling to justify the space, running costs and build costings setting up a pond, this just suits me perfectly. Thank you again. I shall look forward to any follow up vids. 👍

What a brilliant pod cast makes all us koi keepers with small ponds know we don’t have to just have 2 massive fish we can have a pond full of beautiful smaller fish all I have heard for the past few years has been about getting big fish which made me feel I have an inadequate pond set up because I only have 600 gallon but this is the size my garden suites
This has made me feel a lot better about my set up all my fish are in great condition just not growing quickly

Great broadcast. Will you be uploading as podcast? Rather than just as a CZcams video.

One of the ten or so tosai I got three years ago has crown barely over 30 cm, but cute as a button, my chibi snake is one of my favourite!

If you develop a sales channel that is limited in size, it could mean that Indonesian KOI are superior. In fact, even at major shows in Japan, only KOI from a limited number of breeders, such as KOHAKU and SANKE, can win prizes up to medium size. (Especially now that the number of foreign owners has increased.) You know what I am talking about, don't you?

Massive koi are so awesome BUT for those with a smaller pond who want a variety of koi, smaller yet mature koi might be the ticket. We have local pond builders here in my area of the USA who build ponds with inadequate filtration and then tell customers to only feed their koi once or twice A WEEK so as not to overfeed! Now that's just starvation. I think we need the 'koi police' here. At a demonstration at one of these builders, I said I feed my koi several times a day and the speaker got visibly angry and asked me why and I said because they're KOI. Of course if I had one of those inadequately filtered ponds, I'd never be able to do that. So nice to get information on this channel from professionals. Than you so much.

In all honesty you should say the name of the company so people know to stay away from them. As you said they are advocating for people to starve an animal.
