Great list Chris ! I would not have featured Road Atlanta myself as I'm very careful about the accuracy of a track, especially when it comes to a track with such blind corners (I'm used to the iRacing version). If I were to do a list, I would add - from RaceDepartement - Barbagallo, Croft and Kicevo (so much fun with the Caterham mods from Ben). From AC Track Reboot website, I recommend Snetterton and Knockhill (also with Caterhams haha).
Hey Lapin - totally agree with you, that's why Road Atlanta didn't make the full list. But it's still good fun, even if it's not all that accurate. Croft, Snetterton and Knockhill are all great choices too. I'm going to pin your comment to the top, because there's lots of useful info in there
I'm just surprised that Colin Chapman designed the Seven as a training tool 70 years ago, and it's still incredibly relevant. Even in a mod for Assetto Corsa ! And it's even a LOT slower than the MX5 Cup. I just have a passion to find tracks fitting the Academy car, even though I wish Ben did the R300 so it could be accessible for league racing (it's a bit too slow to be exciting for drivers).
Couldn't agree more marble89 - I genuinely believe that Assetto Corsa that Assetto Corsa is in a stronger place now than it was at the end of last year when Kunos released their last piece of content for the game.
yep they need not to worry about an update breaking their mod especially if its a car mod. I downloaded several tracks mentioned in the list. A video like this on best car mods would be great too!
Your way of presenting stuff really reminds me of Chris Harris. It is so calm but very informative and straight to the point but still giving all the information one could want, packed in good english haha. I really like it.

Hey Dujon - thank you kindly. I do try to make an effort to respond to anyone that leaves a comment. The way I see it, if someone takes time out of their day to watch a video of mine and then leave a comment, then the least I can do is try to answer whatever questions or comments they may have.
Thank you, Chris. Very useful info for me as I'm trying to build a league for AC, I think this game is so valuable, especially due to mods, that I can't believe many communities have "forgotten" it. Great video as always!
Just did a couple of races with the Escort at NJMP and really enjoyed it. You are correct that the track is very misleading, and T1 comes up really quickly (something I was having some trouble with on the first few laps). The flow is nice, and when you get a lap right you feel that you've done okay but that there has to more time there. The elevation changes and tight sequential corners are really nice, and the final long right hand sweeper does a great job of setting up for the main straight. You have to hit them all correctly or you lose time. Great choice. The other track I did a recon lap of was Feldberg. Wow! Original Spa or some Nordschliefe influence here, with a cobblestone road through town for added flair. Again, a great choice and I'll be building up to run a few races there in the coming weeks. Thanks for the recommendations and the great video. Much appreciated.
Thanks Martin. NJMP is a bit of a medium sized dog in sheep's clothing. It's not constantly trying to kill you like some circuits, but it'll show you it's teeth if you give it a chance! Definitely a track which requires a lot of commitment. As you say, Feldberg definitely has much in common with classic spa and the Nordschleife. I really need to dedicate a bit more time, as it feels like a circuit that will take quite a bit of work to master.
thanks mate for vids like these really helps us race more, instead of sorting through the avalanche of hopeful good downloads ..so ya cheers and thanks
Bonsoir Chris , quelle vidéo formidable avec ces anciennes voitures de compétitions un vrai régal pour moi , la Chaparral était unique avec un design jamais vu même à cette époque , merci.
Very surprised that you did not list Bikernieke in this video. The circuit has become one of my favorite tracks. The "high speed Ring" layout is absolutely fantastic.
Alex Nelson - yes, the XJR-9 is a crappy rip from another game, though when I (naively) purchased it a couple of years ago it was advertised as an original work. It handles terribly, but it looks good fro 20 feet away and the AI seems to manage driving it. On the plus side it's well matched with the Kunos cars, so it's not so bad for bolstering the opposition field. You can find it for free with a bit of googling.
Chris Haye that's what I thought it was. I ran across an IMSA group C car pack mod that included that as well as the Nissan R91, a Lancia, and a couple more. Obviously they weren't that well done but the pack might make for some good future footage. I'll keep my eyes open for it.
I couldn't agree more Clonetrooper1139 - the mod community is what makes Assetto Corsa special. As for mods and ACC, as 69houyt mentioned, there is no official mod support, but Kunos have said they won't stop people trying to mod the game though. So, don't hold your breath!
Great Video and awesome cinematography as usual Chris - thanks for the mod links, still a couple on the "really must try" list. Keep up the awesome work!
Attention Obsessed Comment Readers :- Not only did Chris Haye do a fantastic summary video of the best tracks for Assetto Corsa, old & new. But a side benefit of his diligent work in LISTING every single track he mentions here, is that I have 2/3erd's of these tracks already. But sometimes an UPDATE can skip by me without me realizing it. So it is so easy to open up to my folder of my saved AC TRACKS - and then simply click on each tracks link here in Chris's description - and check if I/you/we have the actual very latest version of that said track. A great job as always Chris, and very informative. P.S. A MUST HAVE honorable mention for me racing every night Australian time on the AC SERVERS, is the "Winter" version of the Nordschleife - which doesn't actually add snow, but makes most of the trees on the track bare with no leaves. It can be used easily online also, and gives a great new feel to The Nordschleife, if that is one of your favorite tracks already...
this is the video I wanted to see earlier today when I watched the 50k sub video, I was particularly interested in the first three circuits that you also featured in that 50k sub video!
Phenomenal list. I just downloaded most of them. I tried a few and was blown away. Feldbergring is absolutely raw insanity. It was like Le Mans with a bunch of Laguna Seca Corkscrews on steroids. Drove a Lotus 49 and it was a blast. Millville is great. Initially tried Riverside with a Miata then went with an RSR. Definitely thinking Lotus Europa for that one.
Hey MSFerrari248F1 - thanks dude, much appreciated. I like your username - you don't see too many people talking about the 248 F1, as they tend to get hung up on the F2004 or the F2007. Great car though, and I remember the 2006 season fondly.
Chris Haye yeah man agreed. Schumi’s performance at the Brazilian gp was good. If I recall correctly maybe Schumacher could have had another title had it not been for the retirement at the Japanese gp. Sigh good times.
Good list of circuits in this vid. However I would like to know if you fancy point to point tracks as well? There are some real gems out there in that category. I had some very interesting battles on Mt Akina, Deals Gap, Glava Zete, Transfaragasan, Krajiska Zmij, Lake Louise just to name a few.
Hey Yeuxkes - thanks for the comment dude. Point to point circuits are a bit of a blind spot for me. My interest in sim racing grew from my love of circuit racing, so I guess that makes sense. That being said, I had a lot of fun with LA Canyons recently, so I should probably give the point to point stuff a try. Thanks for the list!

Hey W-Y - Yeah, I'm a big fan. I've done a couple of video reviews in the past (Suzuka & Imola 72). But, you're right, Kyalami and classic Spa are both really nice.

I was wondering when I saw the video how many of these I had - turns out, all of them except Chang (which I'd never heard of) and Okayama (which I don't like very much). I'd suggest adding Road America to your list - there are some bad versions on RaceDepartment but there's a good one (it's the one with the good reviews ;) ) Also I'd echo the poster who recommended Bikierneki, and add Oschersleben (probably both spelt wrong!!); they're both great tracks for door to door Touring Car racing.

Hey Corvonix plays - no worries dude - It's from a pack of IMSA prototypes that you can download from here: m.facebook.com/assettocorsacarmods/photos/a.742269435883883.1073741844.662467157197445/1348708081906679/?type=3 These cars are pretty poor quality conversions from Forza, so in my opinion, they're not really worth driving. Hey R K - totally agree, it's an absolute favourite. There are two versions (that I know of) available in Assetto Corsa, one is scratch made and has a lot of character, while the other is a conversion and is probably a bit more accurate. But for me, the new RF2 version is so good it's kinda spoiled Sebring in AC for me... at least for now :)
Hey Oskar - I'm using the free roaming camera for the static shots (as well as the pans and pulls). Unless you've remapped the button, you should be able to access it by hitting the F7 key. I think you used to have to enable developer tools to access it, but I don't think that's the case anymore.
Me too. All of the main featured tracks have competitive AI. The only caveat being the some of the old open wheel cars like the 60s F1 cars can behave a bit oddly. But I find that is the case at almost all mod tracks, and some of the Kunos ones too!
I find that it varies a bit depending on the car. I've not had too much trouble, except with fast single seaters, which tend to get (very) airborne over the hump in the Thomson Mile.
Great list Chris ! I would not have featured Road Atlanta myself as I'm very careful about the accuracy of a track, especially when it comes to a track with such blind corners (I'm used to the iRacing version).

Chris Haye totally agree with your comments on RF2 Sebring. Fantastic sim and track.
What are the cars running on Thomson road. Where are they available. Thanks
They are from the “Assetto Corsa Legends” mod. They are free and to answer your question, they are Can Am cars.
How did u get the ford gt???
impressive
Not as impressive as your reaction times dude ;)
nah its slow, 9 minutes off the pace :)
How do you access the fixed track cameras ?
Hey Oskar - I'm using the free roaming camera for the static shots (as well as the pans and pulls). Unless you've remapped the button, you should be able to access it by hitting the F7 key. I think you used to have to enable developer tools to access it, but I don't think that's the case anymore.
Thanks !
i really enjoy sveg lv it. i can almost win a race there haha.
Hi! Thanks for links. Please, share a link to Essington Park (all layouts) for Asseto Corsa for free, for us. Say 'yes', please! :)
Most of the time single racer here. So how good are these for the AI thanks
Me too. All of the main featured tracks have competitive AI. The only caveat being the some of the old open wheel cars like the 60s F1 cars can behave a bit oddly. But I find that is the case at almost all mod tracks, and some of the Kunos ones too!
Yeah, the AI is generally pretty bad at racing low-grip/old/slow cars. It does pretty well at something like GT3 cars.
Thanks guys
Just as a bit of a warning I find the AI very rarely finishes a race at Thomson Road
I find that it varies a bit depending on the car. I've not had too much trouble, except with fast single seaters, which tend to get (very) airborne over the hump in the Thomson Mile.
