I love the way the baddie's wheel hub comes off in the end car chase (@48mins)! I bet THAT was unplanned!!?? 😉 What a fun series. I've never seen it before. So it's a real treat! Thanks for the uploads. 👍
I wondered who created Hardcastle And Mc Cormick, what else did he create,I know he did the A-team.But I don't know what else he created. Can you let me know please.
"Milton C. Hardcastle (Brian Keith) was a retired judge for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Mark McCormick (Daniel Hugh-Kelly), an ex-race-car driver-turned-car thief was Hardcastle's last case. McCormick had been placed into the judge's custody and together, they're going after 200 cases that walked out of Hardcastle's courtroom on technicalities."
36:06 is the 1st edition. No door handles. Must be a shot from the first season. They used old footage a lot to keep production cost down. Especially in stunt shots. It kept the risk of damage to a minimum. I guess that was the original. Hardcastle climbed out instead of opening the door. It didn't have doors. He had a hard time getting in and out, that's why they changed to the DeLorean and doors.
Sorry, but this second version looks like a cheap copy. The first, on the other hand, looks like a real super race car. Much slimmer, lower and more aerodynamic.
@@jeffcampbell2710there were doors. You just rarely saw them open. There is one scene you get a split second glimpse of the passenger door open. In "Goin' Nowhere Fast" when McCormick tricks Hardcastle into changing places with him, but in reality leaves him on the side of the road so McCormick can get himself arrested, you see the passenger door open slightly when Hardcastle gets out. As for the car at 36:06, that's the stunt car. Iirc they used a dune buggy chassis and just put a body on it. They swapped the s1 body style for the s2 version. I saw this car in person on the back lot at MGM in Orlando in the summer of '91. This was the car that was later restored and spent some time at the Volo auto museum.
A retired superior court judge and an ex-race-car driver-turned-car thief. Together, they fight crime in a red hot sports car. It's like THE LONE RANGER & TONTO of the 1980s.
5:28 When a Trans Am coverts to a Camaro. It kills me to see these old cars destroyed in TV and Movies. Id love to have the TA and the Camaro. That's a 70 split bumper. Don't see many today. Well, the front is 70, but the T Tops and big back glass are 77.
I liked the trans am in Hardcastle And Mc Cormick, shame what happened to it.I like the 3rd gen Pontiac trans am best, because of Knight Rider I am a huge Knight Rider Fan.
That Ferrari (if it is one) would walk off from the TA, as much as i hate to admit it. The TA handles good, but Ferrari is built for racing on-road courses.
Thank you soooo much for posting these, i hope YT keeps them up
I love these two guys - such good chemistry. One of my favorite 80's shows when I was a twenty something.
One of the best 80s shows ❤

I love this show I totally watched in in the 80’s and I still watch it today !
Thanks for this show
thank you for uploading! ❤
Did Stephen J. Cannel ever miss? So much of my childhood…scripted by one dude on a typewriter.

Loved this,i always thought Daniel looked a bit like David Hasselhoff.
The second version of the Coyote-X is the DeLorean DMC-12 in seasons 2 and 3. I love the version of it.
I prefer the first one. I like the narrow body, no doors version. Be better if it was mid engine instead of a VW chassis.

@@fam.hunger5244I met Mr. Kelly at a convention and he signed my Coyote X model car kit box. Got to talk with him for quite a bit. Very nice guy.

Coyote X was so cool.
Good 80's action show.
What's so funny about these old shows was it's no way that Trans-Am was beating that Ferrari

I love these 2,I had a crush on Mc Cormick back in the day.

I would not want the nickname Skid Mark after a prison sentence. LOL. I don't think the writer was thinking.

So what you are saying is the Ferrari would leave the Pontiac Trans am for dust
Who created Hardcastle And Mc Cormick? Was it Stephen J Cannel.?

What happened to these actors, are they still alive today
