A 'Sabziwala' From IIM A | Kaushlendra | Founder, Kaushalya Foundation | SEEtalks 2016

Born to a farmer, Kaushlendra was clear from the start that he wanted to use the power of education to bring a positive change to the lives of marginal farmers of his state, Bihar. He topped his class at IIM Ahmedabad and could have easily landed a high-paying corporate job but Kaushlendra had different ideas. Putting his theoretical expertise about agribusiness into practice, Kaushlendra plunged into the business of selling vegetables. Famous in Patna as the ‘MBA Sabziwala’, Kaushlendra’s venture ‘Samriddhi’ acts as supply chain for bringing fresh vegetables directly from the farm to the urban centers.
