I lived in Korea for five years and this was one of my favourite side dishes. 🤤
My mom was raised in Japan, starting just after Hiroshima, Nagasaki. She is 82.
Love, love, love Pan-Asian food and different Global cultural dishes and recipes from around the World, right?
Loving on you all, from somewhere near Seattle.
⚘ 🙏❤🙏 ⚘
Oh, HELL YES. Love these things.
Small children, including aspiring young chefs, may be reading your comment...
Please refrain from using profanity, ok? Please?
This is not GR's f word channel, right?
Thanks.
Children should rest assured that these potatoes are heavenly, and will not incur any risk of eternal damnation
Just tried it, it tastes so good!!
Oh my, it looks delicious, I’m definitely going to make it.
I just tried these the other day and let me tell you what delicious!
Making this tonight... Looks soo YUMMY 🤤
Wow! This looks great! I'm going to try this myself.
These look good.
In Korean restaurants I have only seen these served cold.
Me too, however, this recipe looks delicious. And I’m thinking very different than the cold recipe.
My mother is obsessed with potatoes and I’m sure she hasn’t had them done this way...a dinner surprise for her soon!
omg did you ever surprise your mom with these potatoes?
@@chlo.rin.e Yes. She really liked them!
This looks so good
es sieht so lecker aus!!!!!
Isn't it better to wait for the pan to heat up then put the oil and wait for that to heat up too then add the potatoes?
Jungkook's magical Gamja Bokkeum 😅
Hope mine doesn't turn into magic trick as well
Thank you.
Super - Thank you
Thanks I don't have fish sauce but I'll make these with MSG instead :p
Ty for a new style for this banchan
What can I add instead of fish sauce?
오 감자볶음! 여기서 보다니
Ooo good lord i think i have all the ingredients
Nice I would eat the whole thing as well.
Can i change it with sweet potatoes?
They also come w glass lids.
❤️
Great, love from🇵🇰
What brand is the saucier pan that you have? Is it All Clad?
What would go well with this?
Can someone tell me if these taste like the potatoes from the mall? It's a side option at places that serve the bourbon chicken.
I actually set myself a timer to a minimum time to stop me from mucking with stuff in pans.
guga should do this, Sous vide style.
my bone is big to this
mmmmmmm
Tonight, I’ll see how this works with sweet potatoes and no sugar.
Growing up, our mommas used to say:
STOP PLAYING WITH
YOUR FOOD!!, right?
😢 😖 😫 😖
Shhhh! Momma is not looking right now.
Play with your food, people, ok?
⚘👏😋👏⚘
Then, share an amazing dish or recipe with your momma, a friend, neighbor, someone on your em or contact list that you haven't spoken with in awhile?
Tell them that they cannot, under any circumstances, tell momma or dad that you're playing with your food, ok??
⚘ 🙏❤🙏 ⚘
Love and prayers always, to you and yours, from one fellow Major Foodie somewhere near Seattle and around the World to all of you...
Always.
Anyone else judge someone for taking a significantly smaller bite of something than you would?
Yeah. Some people don’t deserve food
No, because I have never met anyone who takes smaller bites than me. But I do occasionally have a twinge of judgement when I see people “wasting” their food by taking such big bites that they finish it too fast to really relish it from my point of view!
@@HirathaYT well to me, taking small bites doesn't let me enjoy the food because a small bite is not gonna release the flavor a bigger bite will fill your mouth therefore all you taste buds will perceive the flavours all together. As you know different sides of the tongue have different buds for salty, sweet and sour. Some dishes are mixed flavours so one small bite will not give me satisfaction. Please don't think people who take bigger bites don't savour their food it's just different. On the other hand i am not talking for people who eat super fast like there's a famine or shove the whole thing in their faces. No. I am talking for people who take bigger bites!
@@Karawoolfe Ooooh, I messed up the tone!! I was kind of trying to make fun of myself for having mirror image silly feelings about perfectly normal differences in preferences. I think people just enjoy different mouthfeels, honestly.
Sorry, but this not Gamja Bokkeum, but Gamja Jorim...
I didn't like your video
