@@willthorson4543 Yes, but because of the BLM movement masses of the police force are trying to retire. The police force are (most likely) acting more cautious and not engaging as much. Plus, all the angry mobs probably risk their safety. Also, defunding doesn't just get rid of things cops shouldn't have to do in the first place. It endangers the lives of people because even if they don't have to do as many things, they still have a lack of financial support turning into low morale, lack of equipment, etc. So, no... they could easily put things in place so the "things(that cops shouldn't have to do in the first place") are not done by police, but instead, they try to defund the police which will cause more chaos resulting in more crime resulting in a worse society.
I love how they keep talking about these "historic changes" with a sparkling glint in their eye.

The media uses that terminology to try and create more drama in their reporting, which equals more viewership. Black people use it to try making themselves appear oppressed and to make white people appear more aggressive and racist towards them. In my experience white people don't really use these terms at except when it's actually relevant to something.
