Can you make a scissor work video for barbers specifically? I’m new at a barbershop and medium/long hair is difficult. Also I feel like a lot of my classic short men’s cuts could be made better with some scissor work.
I’d start here at this link, at least for scissor over comb. As far as different sectioning techniques and cutting angles, if you watch through a few of my recent videos you can kind of pick up the basics- you want your section to go in the direction you want the hair to move, cut your first section to put the weight where you want it (or to remove the weight) then use each previous section as a guide for the subsequent section. First, thank you! I’ve got Monday scheduled with the manufacturer to restock, so if all goes as planned it should hit the website that afternoon! So sorry for the shortage. Long story short, the company who manufactured our jars has been unable to fulfill our order with them, so we’ve been frantically shopping around with other jar manufacturers. It’s looking like our jar shape might change some, but the volume of product (4oz) will remain the same.

I have never seen the sides cut with that technique. I can’t wait to try it out myself.
