I never asked specific tutorial, but i'm sure i'm not the only who is interested in that : A tutorial about migrate the locomotions animation to an traditionnal (without motion matching) animation blueprint with blendspaces, with your humor and energy, would be great ! And no one did it yet !

When will someone migrate into a project that has been in dev for a year? Always a new UE project :-) has no controls code, no custom AnimBP, Events, etc..

hey bro, nice1 although did you figure out/can you tell us how to use parkour jump animations? i've noticed those invisible boxes on top of blocks (don't know their name, im a beginner lol😅) and i assume that's what triggers those animations- please help 🙏🏻
Yeah, so you're correct! The ledges are what actually triggers the parkour, and all you really need to do is get the boxes successfully migrated and then use those in your level by making them invisible and place them with your environment's geometry. I know that it's not the best way, but I myself am still playing around with it and trying to figure out a better way. 😀
i've tried it- i've put the whole box with this white invisible SOMETHING (do you know what's its name? haha) and made it invisible on place of my 'desired' object (a desert rock) and it didn't work, it animates normal jump, it's confusing but i think it's matter of this white invisible box on the ledge- if i'd only figure out what is it and how to create/generate it lol (it has to be some object with blueprint tho)😵💫😵💫😵💫🤣
@@mam9zyc If there are any collision going through the ledge box where you are trying to climb it won't climb. Even a handrail and just a little bit of collision is sticking out off the top it. It don't work if the box is too small as well.
Can't i change it to top down camera?
Is the process the same with migrating the motion with the functionality of the current player?
Can use it in sequencer?

Did you know which plugins were missing ?
It took a while, but I looked through the installed plugins for the project and cross referenced those with the pre-installed plugins. This led to me installing a lot of plugins which I then used the good old process of elimination to find the plugins used. Please tell me if you have a better way of figuring out the plugins (so I don't need to cry in the corner again LOL).
@@technov12 You did miss a plug in, I did miss its name but when I reloaded project it popped up saying it was missing did I want to install and stupid me just clicked away happy larry without checking what plug in it was.
what is the point when you can just directly work on the GAS directly ? :l
If you're just playing around, working in the actual project is perfectly fine, but if you plan to use this as the locomotion system for a real game, it is better to just migrate it to a clean project rather than attempt to clean the unnecessary junk that comes with the sample.
@@technov12 it does not take to long to clean up ...im working on the project sience it started and im cool with that :D

What do you mean? its refreshing, every other tutorial is monotone and boring, With Technov putting in some effort its easy to notice when your drifting and its time to pay closer attention. The fact the videos are short and straight to the point with good detail is an even bigger bonus... Maybe you need more enthusiasm.
@@claptaincooked8023 I think it's just the exaggerated voice throuhgout that feels so much like a phony youtuber affectation. Perhaps enthusiasm wasn't the right word, cause that can be misconstrued as 'passion' which is definitely not what I meant. Just a bit cringe for me, but to each their own
