I've been using your Standard sized clear matte sleeves to double-sleeve my Vanguard decks for years because nothing else even came close to the quality of your sleeves.

Wish I knew about double sleeving earlier. The older Konami sleeves look great, but aren’t exactly durable after years of use. It’s a great idea to still be able to use the art of older sleeves

The Dragon Shield clear matte outer sleeves Japanese size is an amazing product if you want the outer clear look and protect your normal sleeves but difficult to find msrp

i bought the new matte clear cause crush cards advertised it,can only say im very pleased with the new product !
I gladly recommend the perfect fit and the clear matte outer but I personally can’t recommend the sealable
Sweet. I’m gonna have to look into getting some of these. I bought a pre-con Rush Duel deck online but of course Konami sucks and won’t give us Americans English cards, so I could use the inner sleeves and attach labels on them with the card names and effects in English and then put those inside of an outer sleeve. Protect the cards and the labels so I can rush duel and be able to read the cards. The clear matte outer sleeves sound great for my regular decks that use Konami yugioh sleeves so I can enjoy the cool art and keep the sleeves from disintegrating.

I bought sealable japanses perfect fit and tryed using them with japanese sleeves matte and the sleeve would not fit inside like the video suggest and damaged the card. It was so tight there was zero wiggle room to slide the inner sleeve in

Can you guys address the recent quality control issues? Perfect Fits no longer fit inside the Regular Matte sleeves! It's a big issue!
Tbh dragon shield is really missing out on not have a standard size outer sleeve which is one of the only times I buy non-dragon shield card asessories. Pls make them

Can i use the standard size instead the outer sleeve for the japanese size as the second protection ?
I bought inner sleeve sealable (japanese size) and outer sleeve japanese size, and when outer sleeving it was very tight, I don't like the pressure you have to make. I think I will switch to standard outer sleeve: I feel cards should be able to "breath" inside, and be easy to insert AND take out.
Yeah, their package says "These sleeves will fir smoothly inside *japanese size* Dragon Shield card sleeves". But on Yugioh cards you end up having to cram them inside.
I am pretty frustrated with these sleeves. I bought multiple packs over the last 6 months and had mixed results when double sleeving. Sometimes they are tight, fit perfectly and don't slide up when used to double sleeve in combination with dragon shield outer sleeves. But most of the packs had sleeves that are just a tip bit too large and are practically unusuable for double sleeving.
You can't tell them apart and it is incredibly frustrating
I just got mine, and they have air bubbles. Is that normal?

Heads up, while Konami now allows players to double sleeve their Yu-Gi-Oh! cards it is still illegal to triple sleeve for tournament play.
That's true, but when double-sleeving it's your choice whether to use a Perfect Fit inner sleeve or an Outer Sleeve :)
I was at an event where someone was using double sleeves and was trying to steal peoples cards by hiding them inside their own double coloured sleeves. Which is probably why they were soo hesitant to allow the double sleeving apart from cheating etc.
I caught them in the act... and they still played innocent until i raised my hand and said i saw you hide my veiler inside your sleeve. Attempting to raise call for judge, their reaction oh it must've got in there by accident.
Mate said next time call judge first as they'd been multiple reports of effence but never caught in the act to get penalised by judge.
Soo glad dragon shield has options with clear sleeves.

Don't worry, we are still making Japanese size Matte Petrol :) It may just be that our Japanese distributors have run out of stock. In that case more should be on the way.

Does Konami allow the sealable inner sleeves on official tournaments? Or does it have to be the normal perfect fit there?
As far as we know there's nothing in the rules that prevent you from using Sealable inner sleeves. However, when in doubt about such things, you can always ask a judge at the event :)
Do the outer sleeves fit over Konami branded sleeves? I ask because I think they're 2mm longer than a Japanese size dragon shield sleeve

i bought 4. Only 1 of them was a tight fit. It is loose for the other 3. It is impossible to double sleeve (Outer Dragonshield sleeve) without the inner sleeves sliding towards the top.
Sliding can be an issue with toploader inner sleeves and usually has less to do with the size of the inner sleeves and outer sleeves than with the friction between the two. Using the right double-sleeving technique usually helps a lot. You can see our recommended technique here: czcams.com/video/cyJPKvymIcY/video.html
Alternatively, using our Sealable inner sleeves makes sliding impossible (and adds even more protection to your card) :)

Hi there, I am glad to hear that you are interested in our Outer Sleeves :) We don't currently have any plans for a Classic version. However, if you want the Classic look and feel, you can use standard size Classic Clear as outer sleeves for Japanese size cards, the fit will be a bit looser, but it still works very well.

I have a question. Was there a different wave release or anything like that ? Im asking because i bought the Japanese outer sleeves from a nearby locals, and it will not or barely go over the official Konami sleeves. But itll fit fine over other dragon shield sleeves (i have no problem with that part but i do like some of the official Konami art but their sleeves are pretty bad.)
I see other's on CZcams slide in fine and a few others didn't. I even read that it was 1mm smaller with wise.
Official Konami sleeves are unfortunately not consistent in size. While we have done what we can to accommodate this size variation so almost all official Konami sleeves should fit, we can't guarantee that there won't be a few Konami sleeves so wide that they are hard to fit in an Outer Sleeve.
i would use the regular size clear matte sleeves i had same problem with my kaiba corp konami sleeves the outers were to tight so i used the clear matte standard size and they fit perfect

Wow, this would be better, im using the standard clear one's but i think this would be better and it can perfectly fit on a japanese inner.. i just hope it would not be long for us to have these on our countries...
Please fix the consistency of outer sleeves, it's a problem within CFV tournaments

For tournament play we strongly recommend that you only use sleeves from a single box for your deck, rather than mixing sleeves from different boxes. This helps ensure the strict uniformity tournament play requires. Due to the nature of plastic there can be small variations between boxes, that won't matter normally, but which you want to avoid for tournament play. That goes for Outer Sleeves and regular sleeves regardless of brand, as it is due to the natural properties of plastic.
What about double inner sleeving? Like putting a sealable perfect fit inside a perfect fit sideloader would it damage the cards?
The Perfect Fit Sealable and Perfect Fit Sideloader are the same size, so you wouldn't be able to fit one in the other.
Why should I use this instead of just mtg-sized lightweight clear sleeves? Looking for any comments on either side.
I'm guessing you mean why go for the Japanese size Outer Sleeve rather than just a standard size. You can definitely use standard size sleeves they work fine, but the Japanese size Outer Sleeve are fitted specifically to be on top of a Japanese size sleeve, so they fit better than standard size sleeves. You also get them in packs of 60 rather than 100, which makes more sense for certain Japanese size games.
Is there a clear (clear front and at least slightly clear back) sleeve from Dragon Shield that is much thinner the Matte Clear outer Japanese size sleeves? For example, if I'm correct, Matte Clear Standard size is about the same size, but is it thinner? I don't want my deck to be too fat and that's what using Japanese outer sleeves has done to me. By comparison I see people with just regular small size Dragon Shield sleeves and their cards are so thin.

Are the Japanese sized sealable also offered in smoke variant like the standard sized ssealable?
Smoke is not offered in Japanese size, as the need to increase opacity (the primary function of Smoke) mainly comes from the games including double-sided cards - something that's not really done in most Japanese size games.
I have found the Japanese Perfect Fit Sealable inner sleeves to NOT fit into a Dragon Shield Japanese Regular sleeve at all. The fit is WAY too tight, and forcing the card (incl. the sealable inner sleeve) into the regular sleeve would for sure result in permanent damage to the card. Cannot recommend at all, unfortunately.

They are out in the US, just not on our webshop yet, as local game stores ordered our entire stock of those. So we prioritized getting local game stores their sleeves rather than saving for our webshop. So look for them at your local game store. Alternatively we will get some for the webshop on our first restock :)
Outer sleeves are too tight for konami yugioh sleeves, trying to put them in pushes the card outside the konami sleeve
For Konami sleeves, the only option are Ultra Pro outer sleeves. But Dragon Shields have a more perfect fit than Konami + Ultra Pro.
How can I get this if I'm not in the US or EU?
I recommend checking at your local game store. If they don't have it in stock you can ask them to order what you need :)
Theres an issue with these sleeves after they came out . Quality control hasn't been checking on the size of every batch, i bought 2 when they came out, and 2 months later i bought 2 new ones and they are way bigger than the original ones i purchased.
Will this be fixed to a standard size in the future? I cant have sleeves like this for tournaments :(
The very first printing was a little smaller, however, due to variations in sizes of official Konami Art Sleeves, the original size didn't fit all official Konami Art Sleeves. For that reason we made them slightly wider going forward. So the first two packs you got are the smaller size, but all later packs conform to the same slightly larger size.

@@DragonShieldOfficial To add to this, I purchased a box of the Japanese sized outer sleeves from Amazon about a month ago after hearing about the advertised smaller size then standard mtg sized clear mattes to over sleeve over the Japanese sized matte sleeves. I was a little bummed after checking and confirming the sleeves I received are basically the same size as the standard mtg sized now. Is it no longer possible to purchase a box of the Japanese outers that are the original smaller fit?
@@madara7989 The current size of Outer Sleeves is not exactly the same as standard size, so it will fit Japanese size cards better than a standard size sleeve would.
We are not producing the original slightly smaller version anymore as players were having issues with them being slightly too small to use with some official Konami sleeves.
@@DragonShieldOfficial Coming back to this, The size is now the same across every pack of sleeves, BUT, after sleeving with 2 different packs, you can clearly tell them appart from the side, they shine differently, not sure what causes this between packs, but im assuming thats something very specific that could be changed?
But for now the size is great, hopefully i wont get called out on the side view of my deck

Most likely. We haven't tested those specifically, but unless the character sleeves fit Cardfight Vanguard cards very poorly, these should fit :)

For Pokémon cards you will need standard size sleeves. However, all these options for double-sleeving your cards are now also available in standard size :)
Would a perfect fit sealable japanese size + ds matte japanese size as outer sleeve work? Or do you need the standard size instead for the outer sleeve?
This is for yugioh cards btw
so japanese sleeves = yugioh cards only
And other card games of that size, such as Vanguard :)

For the One Piece TCG go for 'standard size' sleeves. You can get all the inner sleeves (though not the Outer Sleeve) in standard size.
Bought a pack of these and they don't even fit over konami sleeves, don't buy if you want to protect your nice OCG sleeves.

This outer sleeve don't fit on Konami sleeves. The Kaiba sleeves has a other material.
