  • Doing a day trip from Perth and completing the Gabbi Karniny Bidi Trail on Rottnest Island has to be one of the best day trips you can do in the Perth region.
    If you catch a ferry ride from Fremantle, it''ll set you back about $70 but is well worth it in my opinion. The trail is relatively easygoing being only ~10km in length and takes you to some of the best locations on the island. There are three other trails, which altogether, form the Wadjemup Bidi.
    See the exact path that I took;

    Another awesome trail! I did this in December and forgot how beautiful it is there. Can't wait to go back and snorkel some trails...

      If you can make it out to the west of Little Salmon Bay that's some of the best snorkelling I've ever done. I went there a few months back with a group of us and we were literally swimming through a school of 200+ fish that were at least a half a metre in size - Absolutely surreal experience!

      Oh nice it’s a decent trail! Best thing is if it’s hot it’s pretty easy to cool off 😅

    Nice vid. What equipment do ya use? What editing software? No drones? Not sure about the porn star mo :-)

      Cheers. I use a Sony Alpha 6300 mostly with a 16-105mm F4 lens, but occasionally slap on a 30mm F1.4. Unfortunately the island is a no drone zone unless you have commercial sign off to do so, otherwise I definitely would have been using it.
      Porn star mo is the bomb ;)
