Can't really agree with you saying the best teatcher is himself. It's alwayse extremely good to get some tips and tricks from someone who is experienced, and know his shit.

Dude this is fucking perfect. I wasn't looking for people who post their own shitty interpretation of the song, but for an actual cover of the album version. And you nailed it. You should have filmed it from the front though.
This was the very first song i learned on my acoustic guitar. I thought i was okay but watching this put me to shame as soon as he started the solo.

A good finger picking song to learn finger picking on is The Unforgiven, it's an easy pattern to remember and play and it'll get your fingers used to finger picking

This video is a masterpiece. I'm not much into that song as everyone else is. I even played it with a band I had at my 16's, but you changed my view about that song. Now I can see all the nuances it has (like 1:49, which I always knew it was there, but I never saw how it brings so much to the song). I had not much music experience to see that back then. And since we tend to not pay attention to what we know so well, this means: knowing this song to the point of playing it fairly well at a moment in my life in which I had not music experience made me blind to all its beauty.

Yeah, I completely agree, I think that must be the reason what she got the solo that fast, that would also be my impression at first. Almost a decade playing the guitar, I reckon she's developed her "musical ear" a lot. Does she have a channel on CZcams?, so I can see how she plays.
