Probably the most disappointing match of Roger's 2012 season, except his 3R loss against Roddick in Miami.
MrPatrickbuit yeah. after losing the first in the TB and then rolling over Roddick in the 2nd I thought Fed cant lose it. Then he has 0-40 on Roddicks serve. 3 BPs. I was so happy. He buchtes them all.
and the next game Roddick rips his FH like he has never done before. Hit hard as he could. And broke Fed somehow.
Definitely debatable, or at least one of them. I thought his US Open match against Berdych was worse.
One of them but the most disappointing surely has to be the Olympics final vs Murray. I know Fed had very little left after the marathon semi final against Delpo, but he got hammered by Murray in that final.

I kinda blame annacone tbh. Hell i didnt think lubicic would be as good of a coach as he is but hes a hell of a lot better than annacone ever was. Had federer had a better coach he wouldve had a few more slams and a better mentality in that important period of his career where he shouldve had better seasons

I've noticed he has these huge lapses only after he broke Sampras' record. It all started at the US open vs Del Potro.

Even before the 2009 US Open. Remember 2009 Montreal, first tourney after Wimbledon? He choked a 5-1 lead against Tsonga in the 3rd set, ended up losing it in the tiebreaker.
Fed hasn't cared about small tournaments for a long time. Unless he loses a GS it's not really a big deal.
A little bit more insignificant, but Donskoy in Dubai last year, up 5-1 in the tiebreak 3rd set, lost it. I think he served for it in that set, too.
