Great video Menno! I find in my travels that the hardest muscle to program in a hotel setting is the hamstring. So many hotels will have leg press and/or leg extension machines but no leg curl machine.
Bring along ankle straps and do single leg leg curls at a cable station. I do these at home in my cable station.
I haven't been able to do RDLs (or squats) since I ruptured my L5-S1 disk and I've been trying to figure out a way to hit all 3 hamstring heads without RDLs and these seem like the answer. Thanks Menno!

Great ideas! Would be cool to have some videos on your journey about back pain, what you learned, what exercises are the best at avoiding spine loading and still training somehow effectively for maintaining.

Another variation for the slide curl is using a fitball to put the feet on, so the hip is in a higher position

question: been doing 2 of those before a foot injury, now getting back into leg training after doing only upper body for like 3 months; would you recommend those for ppl with achilles problems? No terrible injury, but I overused it and been told to take it easy for like 3-6 months, but as I said, the injury wasn't terrible and I've been doing those pre injury already - also, I'm in good overall shape and I'm only 23, so I think i should be save progressing back into those? I'm not a medical professional, so idk which excercises are too hardon the achilles in general (hard to tell how much is too much with tendons,as I got to understand). I know you will probably say to ask my physiotherapist, but unfortunately I don't have one, my doctor wouldn't prescribe me physiotherapy (she said I already know what to do for rehab when I told her of the rehab excercises I know of - which is so stupid, me knowing what to do doesn't make me an expert in how to apply that knowledge) so yeah, can't ask a doctor right now, so I am grateful for any advice I can get :)

I've been doing that last exercise with my hips up and it is a killer, can barely do a dozen reps. I don't use a hanging set up like show in the video, instead I have an Ab Wheel/Roller and I put my feet on both sides of it and go back and forth.

yikes! that high hip version of the gliding curl has me worried she's going to pull the bar out of the rests! that would be a nasty fall, might want to put the bench on the other side so there's no risk of that.
Dude, she's a beast. I can't even do close to that many BW leg curls.

Nothing new here, it can be also done with gymball, foam roller or gliding disc.
Please don’t use the rowing ergometer to do leg curls…
