"i know you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover but thats the whole reason they put covers on books in the first place."
Lol I read yo comment right when he said it.
@@raphgotsomemo7737 ME TOO
To assume that the totality of the book's content is represented on that cover and dismiss the notion that there is any additional depth to the book would not lead to the most constructive experience of it.
@@shaunm5233 but a cover can give insight into the book and is part of the reason people would pick up a book. "Hey i like this art, it seems interesting and symbolic." It also usually represents the theme of the book. If it takes a darker tone then you may have someone crying on the cover, so someone interested in those types of books would be drawn to it. So yes, covers are meant to be judged to attract the things its meant for.

What's weirdest about liking chicken is that _everybody_ likes chicken. "Oh, you know how those Black people are, they just have to breath air...."

Michael I wonder why Christians never follow the eating rules. according to the Bible you shouldn't eat pork or shellfish.... I know some Christians who would stuff a crab with bacon....God bless em too because that shits delicious.
Kenneth Wright that ain't true
Hack joke
+Kenneth Wright - It all has to do with the different laws of the Old Testament that Jesus Christ (Yeshua)’s sacrifice on the cross did away with.
Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross ended the ceremonial laws.
However, the sacrifice did not end the moral laws.
The history is interesting.
@@kennygwalk5328 Seventh Day Adventist Christians follow those rules very closely. Health is very important. Many will just become vegetarians and avoid meat all together. For example, search up Loma Linda in California.

Firstly, it would help if you soften your tone. Secondly, your argument isn't very well thought out. It doesn't take into account that a joke might just be a joke and not political propaganda. And lastly, just because someone says that a person might be high or drunk, that doesn't mean that it has to do with racism/their skin colour. Perhaps you're the racist one for thinking that way?
The comedian sounds like he's "completely out of it" (perhaps high or drunk). It has nothing to do with him being black.

So many great lines. Every joke landed perfectly.
I've seen so many races and cultures that like chicken that when I first found out that it was a black stereotype (I'm European) I genuinely thought it was a bad joke because it sounded so ridiculous enough to be a poorly thought through joke. To me it's like saying "it's a stereotype that American white men likes steak." Like yeah they do.. but so do other people?
Just to clarify, the stereotype is not that Black people like chicken... It's that Black people like FRIED chicken... I think lots of folks are missing that nuance.
Yeah, and watermelon 🍉 also.... go figure.
Legend has it black people were the first to deep fry chicken during slavery
@@dragomilosevic4823 chickens were the only animals slaves could own and eat. The stereotype doesn't really hold up in the 21st century since everybody generally likes fried chicken.

@@mickydidymus He didn't steal it and if that's your first thought, you got issues to work on. A LOT of comedians do the deadpan delivery, and I assume it's because that's what comes naturally to them, if a stand up comedian tries to hard or fake a personality on stage they wouldn't be very successful.

@@sallymcherbi1996 It's comedy though. I don't mean to be an ass, I just watched and had a quick perusal of comments.
