    You need a separator between the fans, because if they are not perfect clones, one of them will suck air from underneath the other, and they will be much less efficient.
    Checkout all stock cars, they all have some sort of separation between fans, that's why.

    Can this be done by mig welding?

      Unfortunately not. At least on aluminum anyway. You could build one out of steel and absolutely use a mig.
