Yaya Toure was a monster. Drogba was a monster. Essien was a monster. My favourite though by far is Jay Jay Okocha. Man had incredible feet. Even inspired Ronaldinho. Never seen anything like him since then in the PL.
You're right but Okocha's problem was finishing, he would have been a Ballon Dor. That finishing and numbers are what puts Salah ahead of others

Okocha didnt take his football seriously till it was too late.. Remember that Jay Jay lost his spot in PSG twice.. First to Dalmat , then to Ronaldinho...The other african players mentioned above were monsters and above all they WON TROPHIES.
Absolutely love Mo. Time will tell. Drogba was magic and the list goes on. Mo’s story isn’t finished yet, but he’s well on his way.

Ironically, you shouldn't even need to compare him with Ronaldo but this bias due to his fanboys made you do so. Apart from 3-4 easy goals he didn't contribute anything. Salah ran the show whole month.

It’s between Drogba and Salah. Drogba has the longevity and big game moments. But Salah has the individual honours, the better individual season, the bigger off field impact and has already reached 104 goals like Drogba in like half the time. I think the moment Salah wins another individual honour (Golden boot or PFA player of the season) or another trophy (Premier League Champions league)

Drogba played 9 seasons in PL and scored 15+ goals in 2 seasons
Mo Salah completed 4 seasons and scored 15+ goals in all 4 seasons and on it's way in his 5th season.

In terms of individual performance it's Salah. In terms of trophies it's Drogba. Drogba has 4 EPLs. Salah has 1. The heading says only EPL. If you considered domestically on the whole, Drogba is further clear. Salah has no domestic cups while Drogba has 7.
The individual performance doesn't depend on the number of trophies won. The consistency of Mo Salah is unmatched.

Jay Jay Ojocah was the most entertaining, Drogba the most clutch, Yaya one of the most controversial and one of my personal favorites, Mahrez and Mane and of curse... Salah could be the best. I didn't see Essien play much back then so I can't talk about him. Samuel Eto'o did play one season for Chelsea though and he's one of the best African players _EVER_ .

Not just African player, he is one of the best players to ever play in the premier in general and I would go as far to say liverpool's greatest player of all time. Statistically Salah is the best african player in the premier league, but personally i think Drogba was the best. Im a Liverpool supporter and i don't like Chelsea at all, but Drogba is jus unreal that guy was a force and i just love his character. Drogba is good, but I think implicitly people are saying Salah is not a big game player. He's scored some crucial goals, and some with the biggest of pressure. He's the GOAT African imo
It can't be anyone other than Salah, surely? More goals than Drogba in far less games despite playing as a wideman compared to Drogba playing as a striker. Yaya Toure had a couple of great seasons, but nowhere near the consistency of Salah, and Essien was rarely the best player at Chelsea, let alone the best in the league (or the world) like Salah probably is.
