If we don't get the Ice Court plot, I am going to be DEVASTATED. 😭 Netflix, give the people what they want.
EXACTLY!!!!
having inej on mal's ship made me so angry because the beautiful thing about the ending of ck is that she's the captain and has autonomy over her life after being subjugated by men for so long. and now she's technically mal's subordinate lmfao
Uuuuuggghh I KNOW give us Captain Ghafa or we don’t. want it. 😤
1. Kaz did use knife in the series (for example in the fight with the Dregs he uses it multiple times). As well as many other weaponry.
2. Inej in the final scene very clearly talks about his emotional armor, not the physical one. She is not so shallow to talk about his aversion, she would help him with that over time. She talks about his mental struggles and boundaries problem, that he doesn't let her close and she can't help him till he lets her.
3. The thing with taking some elements of scenes from the books is because they had to take some big hooks for people to want to watch the potential spinoff, yet not rip the actual scenes from their proper place. And their relationship is slightly different because of the circumstances, it has to keep the audience wanting. For a series to be book slow-burn is very dangerous. Also they have only limited time.
Personally, I don't mind that they had Inej leave Ketterdam at the end of s2 because it means that they can use the time between now and the start of the SoC spinoff (if we get it!) to grow on their own. So, hopefully by the end of the spinoff, they'll be able to have a much healthier relationship instead of ending with a bittersweet "wrong time wrong place" ending
You know what they say, 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'
Oh for sure, and I’m excited for the angst factor of it all! But I just hope that they still give us some of the most amazing scenes from the books (for instance, the harbour scene) because otherwise I’m gonna be so sad 😭 They’re also key scenes in terms of character development!
Yesss this!
okay I’m finally emotionally ready to watch these videos. Here i go.
Yes the cane scene was weird. Kaz would never. And making a disabled character giving his disability aid away was uncomfortable.
Omg i agree with all your comments on inej!
@@MilenaReads ok I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thinks that about the cane!! It felt so wrong to me. I need Inej to have her full spotlight please she’s so precious to me, they can’t ruin her 😭 but I believe in Amita Suman fully!!!!
@@_sarathedreamer there’s definitely so much more to explore with her!
I want too soc spinoff, but at the same time, I don't want the cast to be split :(
See I’m actually glad that they’re planning on splitting the stories! But I agree they’re all such good friends tho 🥲
They better not do the ice court without Inej
I’m sure they won’t!!! She’ll come back of they’ll cross paths 👀
@@_sarathedreamer they have to! i mean they can't really do the show and never have all six of them together? That wouldn't make any sense
@@malinmedin4069 exactly!! Hahaha
