I have been in the cadets for over 3 years and I can say that it doesn’t matter how old you are when you join, it matters how much experience you have in the cadets. And that those in this video were likely either at the beginning of their stent or were on a camp where they hadn’t trained for a while.

I was an Army Cadet from 1972 to 1977. I went on, to join the British Army and serve for 23 years. Seen lots of negative comments with regards to this video. Such a shame!😥 These youngsters are doing something POSITIVE. Their drill will get better with practice and confidence. I wish these youngsters all the best on gheir chosen path. The Cadet Force gave me the values & discipline that i practice today. I'm nearly 64 and i remember with great fondness, my time in the Cadets.👍👍🤜🤜🥰🥰
They are ALL DONKEY KICKING! They are meant to use their own shoulder height when dressing and they are moving a little bit fast when marching, in the last shot the girl in second rank was out of step. That was painful.
a few problems, 2-4 of these cadets aren't confident enough to stomp their feet when closing open file. open file is for inspections usually and doing that on your turnout would be horrendous. (i don't see any badges so these lot are probably basic.) we're not air cadets, don't put your arm out when catching your dressings as my Sergeant would say "how long has your arm been there" marching was good, but the halt was sloppy, don't know if you lot do "step, check, halt" but i'm 90% sure that's correct for all units.
And one day you met a road man on the train and couldn't use your military technique because all you ever learned to do was march aka walk up and down like a robot?😂

You have to do 2 paces and then halt after they say the word “Halt” in the Army Cadet Force. Usually remembered and commonly practiced by saying “Check 1 2”
You being a sea cadet means nothing, literally just you trying to say you are better than everyone. These people are clearly new and have time to learn. And it takes 2 paces to stop, The halt was actually the best movement they did here.

There’s a kid who’s been in my squadron for less than fours weeks and is better than these guys.

This is a ccf, a school program, you can tell due to some of their inaccuracies
