- detailed description of our custom interior. Going over the functions to the new owners in Germany before we disconnected the battery and removed the wings. It sure was sad to see the panel lit up for the last time.

Seriously badass! Yes send me schematics! I just bought rv4 mostly assembled. Ready for wiring and final assembly!! That’s if you are still around and have them after 6 years!
That is sooooo cool !
Best RV-4 cockpit🤙🤙🤙
Great setup..! I finished my -4 in 2015. Isn't it great to design a panel the way you want it..!? The angled in panel is a great idea..! Wish I'd thought of that..!
That is one crazy cool RV.
So many groovy ideas.
This video was made for the guy who bought the plane to explain how everything works. It was shipped to Germany. I’m still in contact with him and he tells me the plane is an absolute joy to fly. We still regret letting her go.
Wonderful engineering solutions. Congratulations.
I have been flying an RV-4 for 24 years now that my Dad, and I built. I wanted you to know that you have the nicest, cleanest, coolest panel, and avionics set-up that I have EVER seen.....really beautiful!!! What smoke system did you install, and where is the tank?
Outstanding job Tommy ! I really like the concave panel. No doubt it helps to keep the screen shaded a bit.
Thank you very informative and simple explanations.
Outstanding Job on this RV! - I am seriously considering one of these but don't know if I will fit in one, 6'2" --225?
What engine do you have in here? I would love to hear more about mods to the -4, doesn’t look like you have many other videos about it, or respond to other questions here..
Awesome little plane!!! Can you mount the power and mixture levers on the opposite side, essentially flipping it with the switches?
Very impressive. You guys really figured out how to make a great RV-4 setup. Is bringing the flaps all the way up on a "go around" normal for the RV-4? That's the only potential issue I saw. Usually you don't want to go full up on the flaps when going around. Maybe the RV-4 is different.
Beautiful! Nicely done, sir. I love The logic and foresight you engineered into the design and of the the cockpit. The layout seems very ergonomic. Are you a builder?
I know I'm kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good website to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Cristian Jadiel flixportal =)
@Andres King thank you, I signed up and it seems like a nice service =) I really appreciate it!!
@Cristian Jadiel no problem =)
This is a beautiful job and great video. Are you an A&P? Are you in the United States? What does a build like this typically cost, without the engine and avionics?
Any info on the construction of the panel? Looks like it would help me fit in one (Tall guy.. knees hit panel in most RV-4s)
How tall, if you don’t mind me asking. I’d like to purchase a used RV someday, and it seems like the 4’s are cheaper than the 6’s, 7’s, 8’s, ect., but I’ve also read that the cockpit is smaller. I’m 6’3” myself.
Who are you guys and how do I get this for my RV-3?
Wow.
Why would you want flaps retracted all at once ? Terrible idea
Keith Manvell after landing you raise flaps. Especially fo go around. What’s so terrible about that?
acam37 But you should not raise all flaps at once for safety reasons.
Great recessed panel! Standard panel is too close to the pilot. Otherwise for a simple airplane, it is overly complicated and unnecessary with all the electrical accessories. KISS method applies to the RV-4.
jcheck6 yes it’s overly complicated but that’s what we wanted.
