- If you're after a small, yet powerful A3+ printer, the new Epson P700 might just be the printer for you! With a wide colour gamut created by 10 UltraChrome PRO10 inks along with an easy to use display and up to to 13" wide prints, the new P700 is definitely a photo printer to get excited about.
To find out more about the P700 or to place an order, you can visit our store page here: bit.ly/2ZHrVeg
If you need something that prints a little larger but love the features of the P700, then it is probably worth taking a look at the new SC-P900. The new P900 in an A2+ printer, which benefits from the same fantastic colour science as the P700.

The big question: This doesn't look like an EcoTank system so what what sort of mileage does one get out these? I had a CanonPro 9000 and it was a total pain in the neck because the cartridges were so small and expensive.
Thanks a lot for the detailed review. Do you know if the PRO10 inks are the same as the PRO12 inks (for the new large format Epsons) in the matching 10 colors?
Good news! FOR SC-P700 and P900 cartridge chip resetter(reset original chip) and maintenance tank chip resetter is available.
Any idea when the P900 will be available to buy? :)
can i print thermal paper or vinyl paper
Mmm ... not sure about that initial ink capacity. Seen other stuff online saying they are only about 20% full and some getting low ink warnings straight off the bat. That is not good. Basically you're gonna need an extra set of cartridges straight away.
Thanks for this very informative intro. I love how you made "gamut" rhyme with moo, not mutt! Still, very useful, especially the info about the 'starter' inks apparently running low on initialising the unit.
I know it's kinda off topic but does anybody know a good website to stream newly released series online ?
@Stetson Dayton flixportal xD
@Salvatore Alexander Thanks, I went there and it seems to work :) Appreciate it !
@Stetson Dayton glad I could help :D
Hello,
(sorry for my english, I'm french^^)
I just changed my printer. I took the sc P700 which replaces my old r2000..
But I'm disappointed on one point, it's the obligation to have a margin when you put the quality from level 4...(1 to 5). With the R2000, I didn't have this problem, whether level 1 or 5, the photo was printed in full page (without margin or border). With the sc p700, I have no choice..
Moreover, at equal quality: when I go to quality level 3 on the Epson R2000, as well as level 3 on the sc p700, the photo is sharper (better definition) on the R2000 than on the sc p700..
Is there something to do that I did wrong?
Thank you
What is a Gamoo and is it similar to a Gamut? :) Good vid, thanks.
Good overall description of the printer capabilities.
So does it match the colours on the MacBook screen , no one seems to print a picture then show what it looks like next to the actual laptop screen .
If calibrated correctly, yes, it does!
SC-P700 with 25ml ink carts, basically a dead on arrival product. Chipless refill would be the thing that makes it viable.
I’ve got a P900 and the print quality from it is grey-ish, wishy-washy and poor. My old SX200 prints better! What do I have to do to get the machine to print right?
Ngawahwah bae
You've missed out on the most important piece of information we need, the prices!
Hey t Lim - as prices can change we've popped a link in the description where you could find the latest prices on our site. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching! AM
Sorry but Canon has them beat.......and no clogging issues either
the ONLY reason one would go for Canon is if you live in a dry climate. The color / printing comparisons aren't even close.
Nozzles clogged after few months. head printer is wasted. Beautiful waste of money.
This is the worst printer I have ever bought. Lots and lots of software and printing glitches. It can't load a single sheet of paper without assisting by hand. It's slow. Before you print you ALWAYS have to replace an Ink cardrige. Never Epson again for me
This thing is the WORST piece of crap I ever purchased. DONT BUY IT!
When I turn it on, it gets stuck trying to turn on and makes grinding noises and clunks. It then drains all the ink. I have to unplug it and turn it off and on and hope for the best, for it to actually turn on and get past starting up. After that, the ink levels are drained.
Thanks Epson.
Also if I change inks, the printer will be stuck on "recognizing" forever, and make the same grinding and clunking noises, again draining more ink into the maintenance box.
What a rip off.
I called epson during these issues and no one knows why it does this, They cant figure it out. They can hear it over the phone.
Their solution, was more unplugging and turning off and on, hope for the best ETC.
I have only had the printer for six months and this started out of no where.
I would never buy another one, I would go for a CANON next.
