  • In this episode, Josh talks about the experience of printing with the Epson SureColor P700 printer. Following on his success with the Epson P600 printer, the P700 is the latest 13 inch photo printer from Epson. It now comes in at 30% smaller than it's predecessor. Josh talks about the improvements for this new printer and demonstrates the process of printing from both a computer and an iPad.

Thanks for the review. I’m looking for a magnetic photo hanging solution like you have. Could you share details on what product you’re using for that?

This is the second time you released a video at the same time I'm thinking about the same thing. Last time it was the Manfrotto Befree tripod and today it was Epson printing for photos. Keep your psychic abilities going. LOL 🧙

Hi, thinking about buying SC P700. Do you know if nozzle are clogged and you want to choose head clean if you can clean nozzles of specific color? As there are 10 different colors and only one is clogged then it is wasting of ink to clean all colors. So I am courious if printer can clean only one. Thank you

Can this printer print on 300-350gsm on a 5"x7" cardstock Boarderless?

it theoretically can handle up to 1.5mm thick in the front paper feeder. I'm not sure the conversion to gsm though.

Nice image of the Paterson Falls, Ive been shooting them for over 50 years, But my issue with the P700. I have used nothing but Epson printer since I left film. I have had the 2200 3880 the P600
and now the P700. I hate this printer, and also Epson support which there really is none. It has given me nothing but problems. It started with the screen telling me there is no paper loaded. which was false. Now it tells me that action to print from the front load shelf is also not loaded . Again not true. I never use the front its too much of a P I T A to use. When it works as it should the prints are outstanding . Support will not even answers my requests for help. Its time to test out the Canon line.

Looks like the margins weren't even on your print - can you explain what's happening there? Thanks!

It was quite some time ago, but you'll see the same on the app preview screen, I must have messed up the scaling to paper size. The first print from the computer was fine.

@@briangriffindrums777 I did end up keeping it, but it was given to me for review, so I'd be stupid NOT to keep it. haha. That said, I've had a positive experience with it so far.

It's the most shit printer I've ever had. I had it for 2 years. It never pick your paper automatically. It is slow and has a lot of bugs. It gives stains on 1 out of 10 prints. I ended up throwing the printer out of the window after trying to print 4 pages in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
