The Greek region IS Makedonia. The state north of Greece is CALLED (northern) Makedonia. Know the difference. That fake state (MKD) has nothing to do with king Philip II, king Alexander III and the ancient and present Makedonians. The kings spoke ancient greek. There is not a ”makedonian” launguage. You can only be a Makedonian if you are Greek. The unfortunate people who live in that fake named state are slavic. They inhabited the area where that fake state is about 1000 years after Philip and Alexander time. This slavic people speek a bulgarian dialekt. They not even need an interpretor when the fake ”makedonians” and bulgarians meet. The borders of the ancient kingdom of Makedonia is about the same as todays the greek region of Makedonia is. Please be more respectful about the past and present of the city and the region.

Actually now I just watched the whole video and it was very disappointing. Thessaloniki has been a greek city since 3000 years and yet you mostly spoke about its ottoman past. Very strange. And the food you spoke of was mostly turkish and not greek. Next time you should try and enjoy the greek city as it is and not its oppressive past!
