Brook Super Converter: Can you use a Guitar Hero Guitar in Rock Band 4?

- Short Answer: No. You can save your money now.
Long Answer:
The main reason why it will not work is even if you update the software, the game does not recognize the Brook converted controller as a Guitar. It recognizes it was a microphone controller. Unless there is a way to force the game to recognize the controller as a guitar, you cannot use it as a Guitar controller.
Additionally, there are two switches. The first switch forces the guitar to switch to specific buttons, while the 2nd switch (RW) makes all the buttons work, but messes up the blue button. So either way, it's not the best.

Yup but the Les Paul PS3 guitar has latency and they kind of suck so you might be hitting a of bit lag

from my research there was only ever 1 adapter made specifically for the guitar hero controllers... and it was made by a now defunct company called The Ant Commandos... and it's as much as, if not more than, most GH controllers on ebay....
Here in brazil I bought a PS2 to PS3 adapter just on the off chance it works, to my surprise what arrives was called "PS2 to PS4 NEO" from a company called Neotronics, which has gone out of business, the adapter lists specifically Guitaer hero guitar compatibility, and it worked perfectly, Now i can play RB4 on the PS5 without any issues or latency. I contacted the seller he said he has hundreds of those still, I bought 3 more to stock up just in case.
