I was going to say the same thing! This was by far the worst haha. I was so frustrated. Any small movement sent you off course. It took me about an hour to finally get it completed.
It wasn't that hard for me actually, I got it after my fourth or fifth try. But I misunderstood something, so I went through that minigame more times than I had to.
Tip: NEVER hit Retry. ALWAYS hit exit, then talk to the flan again. I don't know how, but it is *_somehow_* much FASTER for the game to load the entire regular world, AND THEN the minigame from scratch, than it is for the game to just reload the minigame. It's stupid.

I'll toss a correction in as well, I got the Grape Flan at 19,800. Don't know if it was just a glitch or not though...now I got to go and get the darn Cherry and Watermelon flans done. Honeydew will be less frustrating I think...
Because people use many different strategies. The one with blizzard just worked for him, so that’s the one he recommended. If Simms worked than that’s great, just another way to win the challenge!
Tip for grape flan. Just use the shooting star keyblade and use the form change you'll get to 20,000 pretty easily with the guns and the rocket launcher finisher blows up alot of flan
Me too! I played and beat it within a week of release and havent touched it since until Re:Mind. Just got oathkeeper and just need the arandel sled treasures finished to get last orichulum+ for ultima. Grinded to level 99 and played remind Trying to prepare for data battles and yozora
Another tip for the Grape Flan is if you have them, equip Oathkeeper or Oblivion. Double form’s finish can get you about 10 thousand points even if the Flan aren’t frozen.

I’ve seriously never hated a reoccurring gig in a game series more. Between the 13 mushrooms and the 7 Flan, I seriously had to ask myself if the crown/Ultima weapon was worth it
the flan are adorable, the mushrooms are shroomy, both try to fly, one gives you winner's proof which is the best magic keyblade, and the other is the bloody ultima weapon

Just as a friendly tip for the banana flan, USE THE MIRAGE STAFF. It's godly at attacking all the flan in the areas, and the finisher just gives you 3 waves of free points.

Even though I platinumed KH3, I'm enjoying these guide videos! Definitely will use them for my ReMIND Crit playthrough. Especially the strat with the Simba link...I honestly never thought of using that one during that mini game...I think that one was the hardest for me to complete at the time lol

for the banana one i suggest just casting aeroga as it takes out A LOT of flan, plus you have a smaller hitbox then if aeroza pops up use that when around a large area
This guide was great. The minigames, not so much. I hope that starting with KH4, the Ultima Keyblade requirements are tied to the core gameplay, not some bad controls side activities.
I found out a Trick in San Fransokyo: The quicker you step on the sparkling heads of the flan the better; like right in mid air, if you see it hit it. Apparently it scores much higher/quicker in points, it keeps you on easier stages for some reason AND you never have to do an air dive (which was way harder for me to control my landing imo).
Excellent guide my friend!!! An alternate method I used for the grape flan mini game was to use Oathkeeper and combo up to double form! By the time you do that, MULTIPLE flans should be spawning! Use double forms finisher which is pretty much a field wipe!! I think I got like 17000 just from that!! 🤣

For those of You who struggles with cherry one in Olympus don’t follow the same path as in the video show I tried to go the same path but it’s take to long to reach the minimum 20k instead just go right you don’t get more points because of those cherry-pick but the faster you go in those turbo on the floor the more points it gives just try not to make it go slow otherwise you have to get in turbo thing again to get your points up I managed to get mine up to 22k and that route seemed easy the one in 1:35 where you just turn Right

Oh my freaking goodness the cherry one was a pain in the a**. I finally got it after the 50th try due to not even hitting a wall and getting stopped by that all the time. The stair case at the beginning when you’re heading to the gardens was a serious mess for me.
Alright, last comment, I'm pretty sure in Honeydew, your score doesn't affect how you fall, you go higher with each jump, your score just increases the height for each bounce, so if you jump on the first glow you shouldn't sky dive unless your score is ridiculously high Evidence: I sky dived on one, went to the next, never sky dived (I skipped a few), and then on the next I hit every single one and went high as hell and sky dived

Finally getting around to platinuming this game and if anyone is still around, for the melon flan you won't bounce high enough if you don't try for all of them every time.
I found, for the banana flan, though it was hard, I had a max upgraded Star Shooter, and I'd attack- while avoiding being eaten- until I can trigger the form change. Then I'd either attack, or I'd air slide until I run out of time, or I form change again. That did a lot of good.
Wow. I knew of the Olympic Keyblade trick for the Banana Flan (you get invincibility when using that formchange's final attack) but I didn't know to use Simba as well.
One quick thing: In the last minigame at pirates you said that requirement score was 29000+, but i just got enough with 28200 points! Just to let people know. Finally i’m done dangg.. hahaha, thanks for the awesome vid by the way bro! Love your vids 😍❤️

Cherry flan is a demon in cute adorable clothing. It’s important to note that the speed boosts line you up EXACT so 9 times out of 10 you don’t need to move with the analog, just adjust your camera angle. This is especially important in that small aqueduct area. If you go straight in, it will line you up perfectly to collect all the flan in there. Also in the area with the forward speed boost that can throw you into the right facing speed boost, just avoid the the forward speed boost altogether because it will ALMOST ALWAYS throw you into the right facing speed boosts.
the grape flan minigame is really easy with the auto-block EZ code (you get it by buying the re mind DLC, starting a new game and then choosing the picture in the beginning that gives you the EZ codes); last week i scored enough in the minigame on my PS5 (playing the digital PS4 version) to make the flan do the happy animation and learn the unison blizzard ability
Ok, hear me out, the grape one was the easiest for me. Ive been playing on crit lv1 and I got a score of 50k+. The Strat for me was the ever after transformation. Once you dash with it, it will make a clone. Spam attack with the clone and before you use the finisher, dash out of it to create another clone. Just rinse and repeat until the mini game ends. Hope this helped some people👍
There's no way to avoid the turn speed boosts after hitting the forward one when you pass the garden area in Olympus for the Sour Cherry Flan minigame, so your best bet is to just ignore them. It's a friggin' trap! Also, the camera is your worst enemy in that one! Edit: A few of the flans already appear in certain worlds BEFORE you clear them. Not sure why.

Simba made the Arendelle one easy for me, don't know why you didn't recommend Simba for that one but you did for the Monstropolis one.

The Olympus Cherry Flan... make sure you have a small shield. I used Save the King + and the edges would hit every possible thing.
I wish this guymentioned that. I didn't think the sizeof your shield would matter

Your guides are invaluable! Doing a critical play through so getting ingredients is important.
For monstropolis you can use Aeroga spam and use the Triangle to kill alot

The corona kingdom keyblade is super helpful for Banana flan and grape flan due to its finishing move

I found "Double Arrowguns" works better for the grapes mini-game cause I can hit multiple enemies at once

When I did the photo flan one it pissed me off getting an excellent in it, eventually I did all flan games but was exhausting
I found, for the banana flan, though it was hard, I had a max upgraded Star Shooter, and I'd attack- while avoiding being eaten- until I can trigger the form change. Then I'd either attack, or I'd air slide until I run out of time, or I form change again. That did a lot of good.

Wow. I knew of the Olympic Keyblade trick for the Banana Flan (you get invincibility when using that formchange's final attack) but I didn't know to use Simba as well.
One quick thing: In the last minigame at pirates you said that requirement score was 29000+, but i just got enough with 28200 points! Just to let people know. Finally i’m done dangg.. hahaha, thanks for the awesome vid by the way bro! Love your vids 😍❤️

Cherry flan is a demon in cute adorable clothing. It’s important to note that the speed boosts line you up EXACT so 9 times out of 10 you don’t need to move with the analog, just adjust your camera angle. This is especially important in that small aqueduct area. If you go straight in, it will line you up perfectly to collect all the flan in there. Also in the area with the forward speed boost that can throw you into the right facing speed boost, just avoid the the forward speed boost altogether because it will ALMOST ALWAYS throw you into the right facing speed boosts.
the grape flan minigame is really easy with the auto-block EZ code (you get it by buying the re mind DLC, starting a new game and then choosing the picture in the beginning that gives you the EZ codes); last week i scored enough in the minigame on my PS5 (playing the digital PS4 version) to make the flan do the happy animation and learn the unison blizzard ability

Ok, hear me out, the grape one was the easiest for me. Ive been playing on crit lv1 and I got a score of 50k+. The Strat for me was the ever after transformation. Once you dash with it, it will make a clone. Spam attack with the clone and before you use the finisher, dash out of it to create another clone. Just rinse and repeat until the mini game ends. Hope this helped some people👍

There's no way to avoid the turn speed boosts after hitting the forward one when you pass the garden area in Olympus for the Sour Cherry Flan minigame, so your best bet is to just ignore them. It's a friggin' trap! Also, the camera is your worst enemy in that one! Edit: A few of the flans already appear in certain worlds BEFORE you clear them. Not sure why.
