Fusions tend to be extremely cocky, and for good reason. You'll rarely see a fusion lose a battle. Even when they don't win, it usually because circumstances got in the way.
Vegetto/vegito wasnt cocky at all, he was pretending, and only ssj4 gogeta was, and theres another 2 official versions of gogeta, the classic one didnt play around and killed janemba on one move and the canon one did rise his power slowly, but both of us know it was so they could show us all gogeta could do in the broly movie, so only gotenks is actually cocky, because ssj4 gogeta shouldnt even act like a child, but maybe thats the influence of goku being a child in any other state than ssj4 in dragon ball GT, that or they just didnt want omega shenron to be defeated by gogeta for some reason :/

Fusion between 2 people can only occur physically if they match their energy and power. Also even a bit of error in the fusion dance can lead to Fat or fragile form.

The anime actually ruined a joke here by showing the Gotenks vs Buu fight. In the manga, Gotenks declares he will beat Majin Buu, then immediately comes back all beat up.

@Aimin it's not just the fact there kids, for some reason when ever fusion is done the fused character is always very powerful but the down side is that they're also very cocky đ€Šââïž but the fact that he is a kid also doesn't help either.
I'm glad you watched the anime before playing the game further because the failed fusions usually get cut from the games for the sake of brevity.
So a thing you potentially missed about buu is he's an ancient being with the potential to become the god of destruction, he's also an extremly quick learner, he's basically ditto Lmao he learned instant transmission while fighting goku

You think that the military would have learned after Nappa completely wrecked them that they should just stop trying. They tried against Cell too, twice, and it didn't end well.
Fusions are actually REALLY strong. Gotenks even in his base form is probably stronger than Vegeta or Goku as SSJ2. But Buu is just stupidly powerful.

Of course Ssj would make a difference. Goku knows that Gotens and Trunks' strongest forms is the Ssj. And he was confident that Gotenks can do this. So Goku knows that Ssj Gotenks would be around his Ssj3 powerlevel.
Ssj Gotenks is 50 times base Gotenks. That's a huge boost. It should be enough for Boo at this point.

Gotenks as a Ssj3 is way stronger that Goku Ssj3. Goku said it himself. He would have no chance against regular Super Boo. Gotenks was on par with Super Boo.
Also Goku was very confident in Gotenks. And he could not have foreseen Gotenks Ssj3. So he was actually thinking that Ssj Gotenks would be able to kill Fat Boo. And that's something even he as a Ssj3 would have had problems with.

What in Dragonball makes it look like Kid Boo is stronger? The only thing I can think of is that he is the final enemy. But that doesn't automatically mean he has to be the strongest.

The black hole in the center of our universe is 4 million times more massive than our sun and black holes are infinite small (the "size" of the black hole (the event horizon) is only the area in which the gravitational pull is so large that the velocity to escape that mass is greater than the speed of light which means nothing can escape, not even light). Same mass, higher density -> less space, less mass, same density -> less space.

Mass affects weight. The greater the mass, the more it will weigh under gravity. Density is the proportion between mass and volume.

Btw. I never said something different than what you replied to me. A black hole is still more massive than our sun (i think at least 1,4 sun masses or sth like that)but its volume is way smaller than our suns (black holes have zero volume).

Mass is only a side effect of energy. Mass itselve doesnt define a volume. If you charge a battery the matter inside doesnt change, only its energy levels(you dont put any more electrons in it or sth like that) but a charged battery has more mass than an uncharged one. Energy=mass. Mater is a form of energy and thus a form of mass but mass isnt matter and thus mass cant be directly used as an information how much space is ocupied. Only if we are talking about material mass and we have a constant density.

I wouldn't even call Buu's regeneration his greatest asset. He's a combat genius on par with, if not surpassing Goku, to the point that fighting people stronger than him makes his power rise the longer the fight goes on, and that increased power never goes down. His body's ability to learn surpasses that of a Saiyan. Saiyan zenkai boosts cause power increases depending on the strongest fighter the Saiyan in question is aware of, which is the reason why zenkais increase so much in scope once 6-digit powers and beyond start meeting with Saiyans who can sense energy. Meanwhile, Buu with his ability to regenerate, learns and gains power as he fights, both at an unprecedented level. That's why he's so dangerous.

It's odd, the thing is, powerwise, this base Gotenks was about on par with ssj2 Goku/Majin Vegeta, if not a bit stronger.
People have speculated that ssj Gotenks probably could've won against Fat Buu. They say that form was on par with ssj3 Goku, who stated he could've destroyed Buu. This was pre Time Chamber, so they definitely got a huge boost after the fact.
I wonder if instead of showing off his speed, he went straight to Buu's place and picked a fight. I would've love to seen that what if battle

Yea gotenkâs attitude is a red flag from the beginning lmao. Also although at this point everything is debatable and power levels are meaningless. Going from base to super saiyan is a pretty big jump (about a 50x multiplier if u wana be technical about it). Super saiyan gotenks would have at the very least faired much better in my opinion although that attitude of his would have probably been his down fall anyways
