I am so glad my mother wasn’t like this. This woman needed to be put in her place but they were very nice about it.
If I were in the daughter's shoes, I would disown the mom and probably hit her with a restraining order. Respect is a two-way street, and it is to be earned, not given. She had the nerve to judge her daughter in her own house. She's lucky she didn't call the cops

Reminds me of my mother, really narcissistic. And, also when I do well and success starts happening for me, she'll change her tune. Didn't know what it was until I turned 51 yrs old. God is good and healing is hard work. Boundaries are necessary in all relationships but especially towards your love ones who are toxic.
Moral of the story:
1. Parents must be supportive and respectful of their children's positive career choices.
2. The world has changed, so stay up-to-date and be open-minded.
3. Never judge a profession or industry without getting to know it first.
Interesting how she changed her attitude so fast when heard her daughter has won so much money.

This video should've seen the daughter reject her mother's apologies for the BS they are, call her out for never respecting her career, and kicking her out of her life for good.
Great video Supermission. I'm glad the mother learnt her lesson. She can't just show up unannounced, tell her daughter how to be and not trust her enough to do the right thing. A trust in your child also shows respect and gives them confidence. 👍

As parents we all want the best for our kids. But we also have to realize kids have their own dreams as well, & we should support them. Cause for 1, our kids are gonna grow up? & most likely gonna follow the dream w/ or w/o your support which usually leads to resentment. So always be supportive of your kids dreams weather they fail or suceed.

I agree, it's a load of nonsense, I've met and seen loads of girls that are great gamers including my sister. I don't like it when people class what boys or girls should be doing, it upsets the balance and freedom of choice.

If this was real life the daughter should've disowned her mother for her rude and unacceptable behavior, but this is a life lesson they're trying to teach us. Also it's great to see William support his wife and stand up to his mother in law

I can understand that how some people wasted their lives by playing video games, but there are some who play video games but still have common sense to become better. This mother is just.... wow...
