The dad confronts the mom about it and shows her their daughter's journal in which she wrote about feeling like her mom doesn't love her. This is when the mom finally opens up to him about the real reason why she doesn't know how to be a good mom...

Do you think the mom was just scared of doing something wrong because she was never taught how to be a good mom?
Most likely but I think she never had experience on parenting. Like she said she never had mother or siblings in her life growing up so that burden and pain stayed with her but after her husband showed her the journal she learned she needed to break the cycle and be there for her child.
Yes.
Yes true but then why would she call her daughter "kid" tho.
I would have to say yea
Yes,
I love how the Dad was so kind to his wife about the matter, like, he didn't start a fight, he didn't argue, he didn't threaten to divorce her if she didn't take care of her daughter, he just showed and offered love and understanding and it's nice to see somebody give equal love to both their spouse and their child for once.
Exactly. He was compassionate to listen to his wife's story on why she neglected their daughter and gave her the advice she needed to move on from her painful past and be there for her daughter.
I think that’s what Jon Gosselin tried to do with Kate but she took as a threat to her lifestyle
I like that too!
Children are a BLESSING! PLEASE don't MISTREAT them! THEY require LOVE! So many people will NEVER be able to have they OWN children...
Glad the mom opened up to her daughter instead of pushing her away. Thanks to the dad for talking to her the mom.
This hits me in my heart. I also grew up without my mom. So for me, i love being a mom to my daughters. God blesses us with these children, we gotta be the best for them.
As parents, you have a big world to face, but for your kids, you are their whole world.
I think that the Dad is nice to discuss the issue with the wife and was willing to help the Mom how to improve her behavior with her daughter.
The moral of the story. Don't ever let someone Gilt/ pressure you to have a child you don't want to. It's the kid that suffers.
When you become a parent you're supposed to love your children yes it's hard but the Lord never gives us anything that he knows we can't handle.
I guessed Erin learned an important valuable lesson from her husband when read the journal to her and he’s a very loving father and a good husband.
Time with your daughter is the most precious time in the world. they grow up so fast one minute you are teaching her to tie her shoelaces. Then before you know it she's talking to you about going to university and you wonder where the time went.
That's very true! We should cherish every moment! ❤️
This is a heart touching episode 🥰
How could people thumbs down on it !🙄
I think some people like being negative for the sake of being negative. It rarely has to do with actually disliking the video, imho.
May because they think this video is disgusting
I seem like I'm not being a good mom, I didn't grow up with a mom, but it hasn't stopped me from trying my very best to be my daughter's mother. I have waited my entire life for my daughter and I do try my best. This was a very good video! Thank you for sharing it!
Same dude, I grew up without a dad, he saved us from getting hit by a truck and died. He sacrificed his life for my mom and myself when I was inside her stomach. I was born on the time he was declared dead.
You sound like danm great mom to me
@@Mahlyf_Mahrulez I'm sure he's looking after you above and he's proud of who you are.Your Pops is freaking hero
Sorry to hear that.

As my parents always told me being a parent, doesn't come with instructions, being a parent is a learning process for a lot of people who are young, not like teenager young, but like young adult or in their twenties, you'll be new to it but as you get older and the child gets older you get more experienced, you just got to make sure not to do anything rational otherwise it'll cost you
What an awesome husband she has!
Moral of the story: Put your children first.
That movie that came out 10 years ago Courageous, that movie teaches how to be a good father to children. This video really teaches why being a mother is a crucial role too
I agree with you.
That movie was done in my hometown. I even met one of them and took a picture with them at the church that was on the movie. I was working there at the time. I've seen another actor from the movie at a restaurant in my hometown also.
Not cool making me cry, y’all! How adorable is that little girl? Her voice is so cute and she made me want to hug her to pieces. This video was really sweet, thank you so much for sharing it.
It annoys me is that she didn't bother to try to help her daughter. But she has time to stay on her phone and go out with her friends
That's what happens when someone doesn't want kids and you their partner keeps pressing them to have children
She explained why she felt what she felt and why she was acting that way.
The end👍made me cry
The moral of the story is: be a role model for your kids. I know things are hard, but everything you for your kids matter. They need you.
You have no clue if one is brought up not having a good parent this is usually what happens & it takes someone like what her husband did to show one how.... Good grief some people on here just don't know but can. Judge and nothing is said by the creator that's sad
"I know im not the best Mom"
Girl down over-estimate yourself 🤣
Well this is a thing in real life though too, have your parents told you being a parent doesn't come with instructions before? Will you have kids you'll know they're right, me I'm 23 years old and I don't have kids yet, because I'm trying to get my life in place living in a residential
I was 6 when i got a mother and father. Before that i had been abandoned by my bio mother. Boy did i hit the jackpot when i got adopted. They were both fantastic parents. God has always looked after me and given me everything i've needed. My husband and I raised two beautiful daughters.
That dad is a hunk. Good looking.
If she didn't want a kid, then she shouldn't have stayed with her husband.
That’s her husband
4:13 now she’s gonna play the victim???? Gthoh i hate these mothers. Just like my own.
I feel the same way as the daughter feels i feel my mom doesn’t love me
:(
@@erinnorwood6124 yep my mom always hated me
I’m sorry
She said she is lost and helpless, but she has the time to stay in her phone giggling and a time to go girls out, she forgot she had a daughter, lady you are old enough to understand having a family of your own and still yuo are loss,,,really?
Then Don t get married because you are a very selfish person just as you get time for your friends you can't make time for the most important person in your life get real woman
THE MOTHER IS VERY CRUEL THAT'S SO WRONG ALL THE DAUGHTER WAS ASKING FOR SOME HELP WITH HER HOMEWORK
I feel like there will be more mothers like her in the future.
My mom and I had an amazing relationship even though we had sometimes we had our upside and downs. I won an all expense trip to NYC when I was 18 and I took her with me. It was the first of many mother daughter trips we took together. Our relationship grew stronger and stronger after that. When I became a Mom it was her guidance that was my light and helped me with my kids especially my daughter. I lost my beautiful Mom seven years ago due to dementia and cancer and there isn't a day that I don't think of her. I love her very much and I know she up in heaven watching over me!
This is why you don't force children on people who don't want them. They shoulda just broke up once they were different on that topic
That's why u should not force someone to have a child.... If you want one so badly, just adopt one.
If your partner doesn’t want a child adopting isn’t going to help
@@manuela1102 😂😂 nope...my parents wants me....
Exactly!!
Or just don’t have kids lol
These videos needa be longer I love these!
That is such a good video the ending made me cry
❤️
This is a gross case of neglect on the mother's part, her daughter needs some help with homework. This is why she will rebel against the mother, it will be too late to salvage anything. Damn!!
It is just a story ~
@@layalaya9367 Negligence is very real, believe Me!!!
Lesson: kids need both parents
I love this wow
Crying my eyes out 🥺😭😭😭😭😭
IKR? 😭
its never dat serious ...
THIS, was a very powerful, yet wonderful story. We don't have to be what our fore parents were, the cycle can always be broken.
Break the cycle of whatever pain you've been through so you can better than those who hurt you and not repeat their mistakes
No husband asks his wife to have a child when he knows she doesn't want one. If he knew of this before their marriage, he either needed to break off the engagement or accept her feelings. On the other hand, the woman can try her best to be the best she can at being a mother since she did have the baby. This shows that she accepts responsibility for her choices.
I can relate to this me and my mother don't get along either. She is the reason that I have depression and anxiety. She favours my sister more than me. She told my daddy she's your daughter you raise her. And he did. I turned out to be a tomboy. I'm proud of that. My mother doesn't like it. Which is all the more reason to be proud of it. We still don't get along to this day. We tolerate each other. As far as a mother daughter relationship that's never going to happen. God and my daddy both know that I have tried. Daddy once told me that I've put in more of an effort in trying to have a relationship with her more than she has with me. I gave up on trying. I'm proud of who I am and I'm glad my daddy raised me.
Erin just wanted to self fish.
i am uncle of 5 nephews and 1 niece sometimes they stress me out and i try to be a good person by spoiling them with gifts on their birthdays and Christmas
I feel the same as my parents don't love me at all because I'm a teenager and my little sister is still 9 wow I love this so much
Hurt people ,hurt people
All of the time..
Having time with your child no matter there gender girl or boys are all equal you can't end up missing them
Great job you guys
The good thing is, in the end, the mom was so lucky. Or else it would have been too late!
Good video.
It is hard being a parent, when parents don't treat one right.
I would suggest parent classes or coach.. try make sure it's one with kids. The cycle can be broke. Yes one still, mess up. Even parents brought up with love makes mistakes. And some even if brought up right end. Up being abusers their selves.. I had to get a parenting coach..
That's not an excuse because she deserved better n a child never ask to be born, just be the best as you can.
Wow I love this kind of video now . Would you guys plz one day do a 10 minute video plz
Another awesome video from Supermission as always your videos are absolutely amazing and i would like to thank you for all the hard work that you put into makeing all these videos 💯 percent in everything you do we can't thank you enough for doing all these wonderful videos 💯💯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏❣️
Great video ❤️❤️
Supermission is getting a lot better with these videos. Anyway, the girl looks like she could be related to me like a cousin or second cousin. Her jawline is kind of similar to mine.
I’d like to see another video of them together
She sounds like she's like 10 or 11 or 12
They said she was 10.
You dont have to had a mother. You just be nice person .Motherhood is not given in colleges. It grows whithin you. Love is whithin you.
A Mom Should Help Protect Love Guide Dere Kids
Makes me want to stay childfree
A damn journal can make that mom change? Odds of that in real life is 0, once they decide to not care about you no matter what they won't lol.
Sweet intro!
If i had a kid and she/he asked me if i knew a math problem I’d at least try to help
That what I need when I was a kid was a mother love .e she did not love me onley my brother it was ruff
If this was real....she woulda be out of there.
Marci's cute
The daughter’s name is Marcy
Unrealistic ending. I don't buy it.
So glad the music is so loud
I feel bad for the daughter. That mom is so rude and self-centered. I wouldn't be so forgiving like the daughter was.
I wouldn’t be so forgiving either. Children need love from their mothers, not to be pushed aside like “yesterday’s garbage”
I see the Daughter being so forgiving because she's only 10. I don't see her being so forgiving if she were like 15 however....
I know people going to get tired of me saying this but it needs to be said. If you are not ready to be a parent I don't care if you are a man or a woman them legs better stay closed.
She's very selfish and she knew what she was doing when she did it with her father
Imagine that if it were to be her last words she had ever said to her daughter for not loving and supporting her before she were to die from either getting hit by a car or a car accident etc, she would have lived to regret her actions for the rest of her life. I’m glad that she had come to a realization for loving and supporting her one and only daughter who is still alive, thank goodness.
So I know a lot of these Dhar Mann-type videos have the villains make unrealistic turnabouts, but this one is egregiously so. The mom spent the whole video not giving a crap about her daughter and, when her husband confronts her about it, she doesn't care. But then he reads one diary entry telling her exactly what he just got done telling her about their daughter, and suddenly she's remorseful? UGH :P
Also, an alternative moral for this story: Don't pressure your partner into having children with you if they're not ready/have no interest in becoming a parent.
Let's see some positivity inside this. Though it's unrealistic for some 3 lines in a diary of a child to change the entire behaviour of a mother , it still made the mother feel guilty about not being there for her own daughter. Some times just 3 pure words can be more effective than a whole page.
My mother wanted a boy not a girl... I should have been taken away from her. She was a lousy mother..
She's not a mom. So rude and uncaring
It's taken 10 years to ealise how you feel?
IF ERIN DON'T WANT TO BE A MOM ERIN DON'T DESERVE TO BE A MOM AND I AM GLAD THAT DAD IS DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR HIS DAUGHTER
1:38 Bit condescending isn't it?
She doesn’t care about her daughter
