Your commentary with your voice is a great addition to the video!
I‘m glad to hear that:)
I agree, the voiceover makes it better.
I miss the silent videos tbh.
Don't get me wrong, it's not like there's something wrong with his voice, but it's just more simple, calm and kinda nostalgic. And a bit different from other videos I have been seeing at that time.
@@HbCAMM_CT I get that but I also like to hear the thought process behind the decisions. Maybe there could be longer timelapse videos that combine several shorted videos similar to the one he did of the previous city. Those don't need to have the voiceover.
Imperatur's process of building and planning is so unbelievably astonishing to watch. This whole area could've looked so boring, yet Imperatur made it look so appealing to the eye and so well integrated. Amazing.
he's such a genius
i found out that the whole reason is the tree detailing
Honestly was confused when you said you wanted to redesign the old industrial area, but after seeing comparison it's night and day how much of positive impact the changes make to the city. Can't wait to see more of springwood progress
It‘s much better now i think😌
that path on the concrete river sure is testing my ocd
Love that you play vanilla. One of my fave CC CZcamsrs. Thanks for the great content.
I'm just about to build the farming area in my city, I'm definitely gonna steal some of these tricks.🥰
Awesome❤️
Danke! Für die Guten Tipps
Klar doch:) danke fürs zuschauen:)
I love the new format, that you speak for a little while in the beginning of each section with the rest being just music. It's great!
This looks pretty cool. Excited about what will happen next
🙏🏻😋
That little zoom in after snapping slightly to the right when building out that grid was priceless! 😂
even the god of city skylines make silly mistake XD
A small thing but I appreciate that little services area right at the end. Power, trash and sewer in a nice compact spot on the edge of the farmland, fits right in.
At the beginning I first read “Girls don’t have to be boring” 💀 Love the videos by the way, your amazing! ;)
Simply the city building equivalent of "Nom!"
❤️
What makes grid boring is, if it's too square. Like in many places in US. They even ignore the topography features. It's ugly.
Europe is not all about organics. Europe also have some grids system too. Like in Barcelona there. BUT they combine the grid with some shapes. Even when they just cut the diagonal line through those blocky grids, it still attractive.
Dont make it too grid, people. At least, make some shapes around your gridness. At least diagonal line or something.
Dude, love your content; tons of great tips for vanilla city-building!
Question: from where do you get your design ideas? Google Earth, or some other source?
Like… it would be cool to see your planning process before you build (if you have one). Show what you’re looking at in GE, show how you adapt that to the design of your city, etc.
And maybe some live building, with commentary as you work? Love your natural voice over!
Hey my friend, greetings from a huge fan in Canada! You're skills at cities are legendary. Especially in vanilla. I am blown away by most of what you are able to do with the base game mechanics. It's a joy to watch your videos! Keep up the great work.
Awesome build! The commentary is great! Keep it up! 😁
Another golden episode. Love it :)
I‘m glad you like it☺️
0:20 this shot gives me LA vibes
amazing work man!
Thanks bro!
the train/metro station reminds me of the Handelskai station in vienna, looks really nice as well
Great job on the videos, love the slow play videos, it helps me to follow in the game. Could you number the episodes, so We know if we missed any. This is for last when there are dozen of episodes. Keep up the great job
I agree definitely need to be numbered
I love grids cus they are simple easy to place the water pipes cheaper to build easy to zone and when walking u will never get lost :)
Just found this guy, and I straight up don’t think I’ve ever felt more excitement before watching a CS vid. Insane what he pulls off using vanilla rules and assets, and it’s awesome to be him use literally every tool in the box to pull together an insanely realistic environment. Super super impressive
Oh cheers we'll be for sure, BTW loved that map
My man out here reinventing things again!
Dang dude, thanks for the daily uploads, just don't burn yourself out! Love this series been watching everyday.
Just got the notification for this series, going to watch episode 1 and 2 now
Imperatur’s videos are the best. Yeah I said it! Fight me!
Which I could play right now, but my computer is basically taking a dump on itself.
I wish that C:S had a "Favourites" menu, so that your could save your most-used assets and find them quickly. Tree's, airport aprons, your most-used roads, etc. Is there a mod for that, anyone?
this looks so good if you said this was city skylines 2 i would beleive it
CITIES SKYLINES 2 PRE-ORDER TRAILER WOOO
Your builds Always look great and now that school Is ended i can focus on buildings cities. Maybe One day i'll be as good as you
Awesome, have fun😋🥰
You are the master of districts ;) i getting confused with all of your district and style policies...
Hahah yeah i thought that too while editing
You Inspire me to build greater cities, thanks for the content you've done over the years !
absolutely beautiful
you never fail to impress me
❤
Beautiful city. Congrats!
Very nice... I really like the new city...
I‘m glad to hear that :D
Your vids helped me a lot! Thnx
bro always just casually builds the most stunning cities
Great work👍👍👍
You are truly the master of vanilla Cities: Skylines!
Another great video 😊😊😊
He’s playing a totally different game 😂
A very exciting "serious". 🤣
Impressive build as always. Anyways, I don't think it's because grids are bad, well at least part of the reason. But I think it's more towards how flat the area is; flat areas feel pretty boring to me. I mean, even you make use of the terrain like the elevated train tracks for instance. And previously you also made the flats less significant by adding those large drains. What do you think?
Yeah the are is really flat.. i hope it won’t get to boring too soon :(
Just got an email from Paradox, grid will be much more than 4 squares, at least that's what I can see on gif in the background
Yeah its 6 tile
OKEEE LET'S GOOOO
I love this city❤
Just the best out there.
Im trying to build a new cool city like evergreen county but my graphic settings suck overall. Do you have certain themes/theme mixes and LUT's you use
I say this on every video I guess, but still -- these are good techniques even if you're playing modded. With all the DLCs available, combining them in interesting ways like these makes the city look GOOD
Love new farming area)
😋😋
How do you do it??? These look amazing! Have a good day :)
Nice lil' town. I would love to live there. 😁
I'll be damned, published 43 seconds ago xd
Thanks for your support ❤️🙏🏻
this is more impressive than it looks, no mods used to build roads?
Epic!
I just want to know how do you get a panning shot where you have your before and after builds. I imagine you need to film the same camera movements to make the edit work, but is there a camera path feature I don't know about to make this happen?
There's the ACME mod
Hello you very the king in Cities Skylines BRAVO
That’s nice to hear❤️
i don't have the opportunity to play cityis but i like your videos ❤❤❤
Hey bro I need a help I had a lake in my map at a center and with use of landscaping tool I leveled the ground but now the water is spilling outside and it is not stopping. What can I do to stop or to remove that coming water in my map?
👍👍👍
Imagino lo que hara con el nuevo city 2 cuando llegue , creara ciudades mágicas

you would need a lot more Ram /cpu /gpu if you install a lot of mods
i have a i7 5000~ or somting 8gb ram and a 870m and it runs well 20ish mods
@@gmg6863 Thanks for your help! Today i use Ryzen 5600 with old 2GB GPU, NVMe storage, and 16GB 3600 Mhz of RAM. I have a plan to replace my old GPU with RX 6600 8 GB, but this game will run smoothly with my Computer hardware? i always have trouble with this game in FPS and i want to try playing the game in Mid to High resolution. Previously i use my laptop with i5 Gen 11th with RTX 3050 and 16GB of ram and i just get around 25 to 30 fps (sometimes drop when i zoom the public area with a lot of residents). Some people say the game very consumes a lot of RAM, Is 16GB still medium range to run this game smoothly? i only have around 7-10 mods in my Steam and some assets. Thanks before!
@@gmg6863 And if the specifications will be not affected more changes, should i jump to the highest series of VGA and add more RAM's?
@@itumienasi YES , well atleast i think it would , i only have 1600hz 8gb ram and i load quite a lot of assets and mods , whit 7-10 mods and some assets you should good fps . ALso another tip , install PLAY IT! *mod* and set the simulation speed between 0.2-0.35 and it will move better because the pc has more time to render all the things
It's not a tutorial, it's an exhibition of your great ability in playing cities skylines. I suggest you to give more explanation while you're designing. Your videos doesn't teach anything. It's just fun to watch. I, as a beginner, need to know more about how and why things happen in this game, not just watching luxurious designs.
Is the final save game of this series available on steam or elsewhere?
Good episode, but shocked with your face reveal lol.
Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t putting trees and vegetation on fertile land reduce the output of fields? Just something to think about
I thought this too😬
Yes it permanently removes the fertile land resources
I do agree it does not have to be boring, just like german humour it is a serious matter 😉😁
5:25 is that the default theme? if not, what assets are you using for the houses and what theme? they honestly look amazing
commenting without watching it first
🙏🏻❤️
waiting you to upload this savegame to steam workshop
sieht in ordnung aus und ist halt leicht zu bauen aber ich finde fußgängerfreundliche vororte schon besser
Joa man kann ned alle haben
please make a video about your graphics
You should put some residential towers near the transport hub. Love the series ❤
What expansion are you using?
Thats more realistic than real life
I'm really curious how are your farms doing. If you plopped a bunch of garbage processing buildings and 2 inland water treatment plants (sewer basically) @11:35, I'm expecting farming industry to have issues with it in that area. Farms don't like ground pollution and this whole area creates a lot of it. I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but I'm curious about the consequences of building ground pollutants near farming industry.
Do you use any lut?
whats the song that plays at 4:15? I can find it anywhere
too good to be true actually
Hehe😋
You should do a Compton/Montebello-ish area next! Or at least in the future.
Yes, i‘ll look it up on google earth:)
god i wish i had your skill ;-;
Good idea to rip up that area and make it farmland. Breaks up the area and give a more organic feel.
I‘m glad to hear that!
You can overlap districts? Never worked for me. Is this a mod or what is the trick to this?
No, he’s overlapping pedestrian zones with districts
@@jiun88 oh ok. Havent played the game for 3 years.
Which colorcaration tool useing
I'm a little confused. wouldn't your power plant and industry cause ground pollution that would affect your farming area, as well as your residential area? i'm fairly new to the game, but i thought things like industry (yellow generic, not farming), and power plants, (and trash too), needed to be kept away from residential areas?
I cant wait to see what magic you can make in CS2! :) Best vanilla cs player imo.
Doesn't the pollution from the buildings have a negative impact on the crops?
🤯
After game with mods, “vanilla” looks Unpleasant
I DON'T KNOW WHY??? He just simply click click click, and everything become so natural and pretty.... but i have planned a lot took so much time, and my city still look like shit...
bro pls share graphic settings
Asset list can you share
What's the second song in the video, the one played while Pine District is being built, zoned, and developed? Banger of a track!
update: found it! czcams.com/video/IERvEI_NTT8/video.html
i watch videos like this and realise i suck at making cities hahaha
how do you get the payment
Me 5 days 2 millions hours for a farming area I’m happy, 5 minutes of your video I want to die 🤣!!
