When he cant get the interview with Webber then turns around to fill a bit of time, and then suddenly Murray Walker is there for an interview.... absolute magic.
You probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
people talk about the missing sounds of v8's v10's and v12's in Formula 1 today..... I think the only sound missing from formula 1, is the magnificent voice of formula 1, Murray Walker.
I was there and confirm it was wet, and bloody freezing on the pit straight, but also proud I saw Heikki's first (and only pole) and DC's last British GP
Beautiful... Just freaking epic, especially with Murray and Sterling, what beautiful people. Last week's grid walk was pretty epic too, Mexico 2021. He can, because he just did!!! Thank you Martin, Murray, Sterling, Mark, and definitely Flavio!!!
Amazing Martin can simply walk away once he is done. Need not gesture as he know well with everyone and so does everyone knows him very well too. Rip to Stirling Moss and Murray Walker. Both great legend.
I agree with you, but I still would love Donington to be a full F1 licensed circuit. Just for the occasional European GP or such like. Same as the full brands hatch F1 track. Just to offer a little occasional variation.
It may have been very cold and windy that day, but boy, did it deliver an unforgettable race for Lewis Hamilton, his FIRST EVER win at his home Grand Prix! I was only 14 years old back then when I saw this race with my dad, we both sat at the front of the ‘Pits Straight’ grandstand throughout the whole race weekend facing the ‘Driver’s Podium’ and when Lewis crossed the finish line on the final lap, the whole of our grandstand stood up and erupted into blasting their air horns and rapturous applause and cheering so passionately, I nearly lost my voice shouting euphorically these exact words: ‘HERE HE COMES, LEWIS HAMILTON, WINS THE 2008 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX!’ waving my ‘Siemens’ Chequered Flag with so much pride, I’ll NEVER EVER forget when Lewis stepped up onto the top step of the Winner’s Podium and the British crowd just went absolutely wild! And look where he is now 16 years on, he’s even broken the all-time record of wins at the British Grand Prix, previously held by Jim Clark, all the way back in the 1960’s! 🥲😂🏎🇬🇧🏁
Heiki was quick, proved it the season before at Renault & in lower formulae. He just had the misfortune(like Alonso) of being teammates with the juggernaut that is Hamilton. It affected his confidence a bit...this race more or less destroyed it. If by raw deal you mean was Lewis favoured by the team, at this stage of the season & with his points tally...maybe a little.
4:06 Wait does he know that random mechanic or is he speaking to someone else? I mean thats amazing he doesnt stick his nose up and is actually truly down on planet earth enough to know people but he just looks across and sees a mechanic he knows?!?
I think that was Webber's race engineer or maybe chief mechanic. Brundle obviously attends every weekend as a commentator and journalist so I'm sure he gets to know a lot of personnel.
Brundle and Murray used to talk a lot in their commentary about people and things they've heard from speaking around the paddock so I'm not overly shocked he knows the mechanics names, something I miss from F1 commentary as it gives you a bigger picture of what the drivers and teams are like and the whole mental/team culture game. It doesn't have to be forcing excitement the entire race especially in dull moments.
When he cant get the interview with Webber then turns around to fill a bit of time, and then suddenly Murray Walker is there for an interview.... absolute magic.
RIP Murray and Sir Stirling Moss. True legends.
well said :)

R.I.P Sir Stirling
And both talking despite the rain... that's what you call true British grit! Can't get more British than rain.
Here Here
Can’t get any deader.
Both hanging out with Hunt, Clark and Hill amongst many others for eternity up in heaven.
Handshake between Walker and Moss... My god

He was the voice of F1 so many of us grew up with
One the best comments I’ve ever read on here 👏🏻
Murray is gone though. There is no excuse for the absence of NA v10s though.
I think james allen filled his boots pretty well
I’m very sorry to hear that Murray Walker has passed away today aged 97
Sir stirling moss chilling at his grand old age looking vintage and with that accent... What more could you ask for?
Stick a mic in front of Murray and you know you’re gonna get a good interview. Legend.
The handshake of two legends , Murray and Stirling gave me the chills. RIP LEGENDS
A golden age of grid walk punditry...Flavio Briatore, Murrey Walker, Stirling Moss, Mark Webber, oh almost forgot that day's pole sitter!
Webber, always liked him, straight forward and honest.
I miss this Silverstone era, Santander, Vodafone mclaren hats, air horns and the old start straight
Now the Hamilton straight
@Josh Fairweather it’s neither, this is the national straight towards copse
Hamilton deserves nothing good to do with formula one
@@sv5905 Why

RIP MURRAY WALKER, the real voice of F1
As soon as I saw Murray walker 🥺🥺🥺
Murray then Stirling. What a interview queue!
I was there and confirm it was wet, and bloody freezing on the pit straight, but also proud I saw Heikki's first (and only pole) and DC's last British GP
Two legends of the sport, sad that both have now left us 😢
God this video is so poignant now. RIP Sir Stirling and Murray.

sir stirling moss AND murray walker. This video is hitting too hard
Back when we had legendary figures of the sport getting interviewed nowadays it's all celebrities and shit🙄
MURRAY!!!! LEGEND
R.I.P Murray
Mark Webber always talked to Martin on his grid walks.
Mark Webber is a true gentleman.
You know it's good when you see the silver McLarens
RIP Murray Walker😢
Hearing Murray Walker speak instantly brought back some happy memories.
Sir Stirling and Murray! How I miss the old days of F1.
Will he ever see a grid walk like this ever again?
😃 Rather than interview drivers, Martin ends up interviewing three (past/future) commentators!
Yes I feel dapper 😂
Great answer
In 2021 we have true legends like Megan Stallion walking around with body guards.
The Gold age of F1
Love you Murray
Two legends talking to another legend
Rest in peace Murray 🏁🏁🏁🏁
Two class acts without doubt.
Murray Walker the legend himself
0:10 Damon Hill and a much younger Michael Carrick.
Hate it when F1 races start behind the safety car
Didn't Murray Walker looked great at 85?
and predictably Donnington fell through, Silverstone is the true home of the British GP

@@RB747domme as someone with fond memories of Donnington 93 (though when you’re 6 most things tend to be fond memories)
They need to name a corner after Murray name
The good old days
Stirling looked very well
Legendary grid walk
How many times can I like this? It is only letting me press once....
2021 And Lewis isn't a young man anymore................... :)
Murry Walker: A prince among paupers.
2:23 i smilled when murray appeared
I was there at Stowe B. Never been as cold but it was awesome

Why is fernando holding the umbrella at 1:33 ?
@jeanclaude780 Correct Damon was on at 1:40
Murray Walker… enough said 😍
brundle went all auzzie mate with Mark lol
Moss is so sharp for his age here, RIP
Red Bull should bring back the 3 lines on the overalls.
Murray trying to move out the shot like he isnt a legend or something

It looks so.

Was Heikki rubbish or did he get a raw deal?

That's Webber's personal trainer. He would hold out the pit board and be featured on TV quite a lot, that's why I know who he is anyway.

you could bottle Murrays voice
Mickey Carrick
Both are now dead R.I.P
Bad choice Mark Webber, seeing as you span on the first lap.
Webber was often a rubbish starter
si it Damon Hill and Murray Walker at 1:42 ?
