You have some of the most helpful information here on youtube Liron. So many things to know about Internet security. Thank you 👍👍
I appreciate that!
@@LironSegev
Hi there
Have you made a full video for each of these subjects please?
If not please will you make a video of each of these subjects.
Thank you
@@LironSegev Honestly mate you are seriously a legend for all your videos. We appreciate it!
My chief problem with each level are the exceptions: I know of a major corporation with a mainframe based password system (yes, on the web) which only lets you use 8 characters, including letters and numbers and a very few special characters. “But we make you change it every 3 months 😳”.
My problem with password managers is many sites (cough, Red Cross, cough) because they have 3 logins on the same page, or use “entry boxes” that the manager doesn’t recognize make entering a userid and password extremely challenging-if you’re not a human who is actually reading the screen and typing the password.
I would love to use authenticators, but I can’t remember which site uses which authenticator: I have Google’s and Microsoft’s and Adobe’s. Adobe is pretty easy, but if you’re in a hurry, try remembering which site uses which (M or G) authenticator-and they’re both named identically 🤬.
I’m glad I have a long IT background. I don’t know how regular folks can get around the web. Or, actually, I do know: they don’t have any security to speak of.
You're welcome @@LironSegev
1 Million is SO close! I already gave you a preemptive congratulations a while back but gonna do it again. Congrats!
haha its taking a while in the final stretch lol

Love your videos, easy to understand and implement suggestions. Level 3 security. By chance will you provide guidance as to the use of a security key on computer, phone, and iPad?
Thank you very much. I have some work to do starting tomorrow. I appreciate your time!
Good luck and thanks for watching
This is an awesome video, just like all your other informative videos. thanks for this useful info. keep' em coming
Wow very Nice Information , Much Thx!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Most welcome

I have all except youbikey. Need to learn more about it. Your info is always helpful.
You will be so glad you did! geni.us/YubioLiron
Two decades ago I had a key-fob-like device that changed a passcode every minute. If you were to slow, you had to try again. That was a big corporate environment and I was traveling a bit which is where this came into use.
Had the same when I ran an IT department for an international company with remote Access
We have two key fobs for where I work (MoD/DoD contractor). One is to access the network itself, whether onsite or offsite, and the other is for the more sensitive data that requires developed vetting security clearance (UK's version of top secret). It's troublesome at times, but understandable considering the information locked behind these layers pertains directly to the weapon systems a country relies on for national security.
I've locked down my phone and PC because of your helpful tips. Bit of a pain too have too log into everything every time, but I do my banking on it. Would be a whole lot of a bigger pain if something went wrong.
Very useful! Thanks for sharing👍
Appreciate you watching 🔥
Thanx for the video!!
My pleasure!
I'm at level 4. I have 3 hardware keys that I have on 4 websites. I wish all websites would adopt the hardware key option.
agreed
Simply THANK YOU. I was put by the idea of using a password manager and a MFA; not anymore thanks to your video.
Glad to hear!I personally use NordPass geni.us/NordPass-SFC
always great videos...
ThanksMuch for sharing !
My pleasure!
Superb. Here's to your first millionth subscriber.
Thank you so much 😀
Thank YOU, sir. Your videos are invariably a rich source of information. I look forward to future ones, to keep up to date with rapid developments.
Great video as always Liron, I'm shocked that you haven't smashed the 1 million subs yet, getting close though. My concern with Password Managers is that maybe I'd be trusting one entity with access to all accounts. What are your thoughts?
thanks and I VERY glad to read abot your conern - that is thinking SECURITY!!! nice.
To answer your question: if you use a Password Manager that has Zero Knowledge, it means that even they can't access your password EVEN if you lose your own access.
You never want to trust a system where an administrator can just "reset" your Master Passwrod (which is how you access all your passwords).
Personally, I use NordPass (geni.us/NordPass-SFC) which I have tested in the past by crying to their Customer support department and begging for my Master Password. I was told there is nothing they can do.
GOOD!!!!
@@LironSegev Thats fantastic, thanks Liron. I'm going to make the leap. Keep up the great work my friend.
Thank you for the video and making it easy to understand!!! Is there a way an easy way to scrub the browser passwords?
Password managers are useful but inconvenient when you need to access the same website in a different location or from a different device. 2FA is better
Liron. Thankyou for your amazing video's. Always learning from you. You have any thoughts about the "opera" browser? Would love your input please if you have time.
5 start rating on all your videos. Appriciate your work man!! Just a question, saving the passwords to your browser means @ 2:23. Google's password manages isn't what your regering to right?
I will waive the 20% discount and I would join if allowed to just pay all upfront for a single year with no auto-renewal. I detest recurring fees.
you do pay upfront for the year (and still get the 20% off). You can then just cancel the auto-renewal by literally toggling a switch in the website. I wish CZcams would allow us to upload images so I could show you but its under billing, just click on the switch to toggle it off so it doesnt auto renew.
I'm using Guardio and Defender on my computer. My first computer i bought in 1988, a Laser. 286 with a 20MB harddrive, and i never had a virus sofar. I started using internet in 1999. Ofcourse i never open strange or silly links or files some spam users send me. So, i think i'll do fine.
I switched to kaspersky it’s cheap
ok
Thank you for another excellent video! One question--how much personal information do you have to provide to DeleteMe? Is it worth the risk?
Provide the info you want removed. And yes, been using them for years and they are extremely reputable.
I'm working on level 4, those keys are hard to find, especially the brand you mentioned on here.
hmmm they are everywhere - here is a link to Amazon: geni.us/Yubikey5
Hi Liron, I'm currently on level 3 and would love to get a Yubi key but they are hectic expective in South Africa, on level 5, Delete Me is not available in South Africa
Thanks, bud.
hi Liron at 2:23, what utility are you using to make that file readable and will it work on the SAM file as well as i need to try and view passwords but not to remove them just for educational purposes
Nirsoft Chromepass which is shown in the video is for Chrome. It all depends on which browser you're using.
great Video , What about Incogni ?
Hey Liron, This sounds great for privacy, but I'm from Belgium, and I read here on the site that it is only for people in the USA... Do you know another site but for people from Europe?? Because I can't use this one. Kind regards, Andy
yes - I think this one: international.joindeleteme.com/

How safe is the Apple password manager built into iPhones etc?
First video i saw from you and i have a question, what if i already use google authenticator and then i decide to use the Yubico ? because i all ready use it for stuff like discord etc, would i have to delete all of the authetizators and then set them up as only as that yubiko thing ?
Not at all. I use both. I make my yubikey as my primary login method and have my authenticator as my backup
Which password manager do you recommend after LastPass leaked issues?
My personal preference is NordPass: go.nordpass.io/SH5Bd
What was the level 5? Is it the delete me thing?
Yes. Getting rid of your personal information from these data brokers is critical so that it can't be used against you.
OneDrive will backup your passwords sometimes without your Knowlege. I don't use onedrive or not intentionally.
Isn’t the password manager too vulnerable as well? But I ask this while using Google Chrome password saving….
Not at all. If you use the right password manager that has zero knowledge your stuff is secure.
And use a good vpn
Do you have any recommended Password Manager apps to use? thanks
Yup - NordPass geni.us/NordPass-SFC
Which password manager should I use on my Galaxy S23+?
Personally I use NordPass as it is a zero-knowledge system which means they can't access my passwords: geni.us/NordPass-SFC
How to completly delete the data from build in browser password manager?
I just googled it:
Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the Chrome browser.
Select Settings > Privacy and security.
Select Clear browsing data.
Under Time range, select All Time.
Check the box next to Passwords and other sign-in data.
Click Advanced.
Select Passwords before clicking on Clear Data.
@@LironSegev Thanks! I thought may there is also a more complex methode (similar to deleting files from an USB stick vs complete formating & overwriting it multiple times)
How to get a hold of you help me
I use a password manager.
nice
Any tips on changing my old passwords on my old accounts?
yes - do it. It takes time, so there is no shortcut.
Why do you recommend 2 of the most bad Authentificator out there? Raivo for iOS or 2FAS for Android and iOS (both opensource) are much better ! !
And this is why more people don't have better security. So many smart asses have opinions about which app is better. Stop confusing people and let people use whatever app they want. You don't like Google authenticator booho.
@@LironSegev its more Google Authentificator is not opensource and the data stored in the cloud is not encrypted!!! security researchers at Mysk discovered!!!!!!…
However, soon after Google Authenticator cloud sync was announced, security researchers at Mysk discovered that the data was not being end-to-end encrypted while being uploaded to Google’s servers. ~Mysk
@@LironSegev .. they are not 100% wrong. The Yubico auth app is much better and I assume you use it. But that is like going from level 3 to 4. The Google Auth app .. no thanks as there are issues, but too long to discuss here.
I'm at level 4
👍👍👍
Are there any password managers you recommend?
I personally use NordPass - geni.us/NordPass-SFC
Bitwarden and 1Password supports Passkey if you feel like trusting biometric log in
it's ALWAYS a guy in a hoodie! what is it with hoodies? I think they make people evil...
Haha true.. iconically in the real.world.youmget so much further in a nice suit with a lanyard around your neck saying Microsoft
pretty safe
Any concerns having Google Authenticator backed up in the cloud?
What do you mean
@@etano1701 if my Authenticator app and data backed up in the cloud can someone get access to that and pretend to be me?
@@adventureswithtimeI wouldn’t backup in the cloud, I would use an external hard drive
Don’t use Google Authentificator its bad and not secure use 2FAS for Android,iOS or Raivo OTP for iOS (both open source) much better.
Not as long as you have strong securty to get into your Google account
Level 1 here 😁
Not good
🤦♂️ time to level up!
After not using my yubikey for a while I forgot my pin and now it's locked. 😅
There are cases where hypnosis actually has worked for recall. I prefer the OneKey token where you can write down the passwords hidden inside in case you lose it someday.
does a yubikey has a code on it?@@chuckbecker8735
One of the techniques I employ is to combine my long passwords with characters not on the ASCII or even the extended ASCII list. Try (¾×8¹ = 2³-2). or "Færy". º, which is not the same as °.
How about the people who are trying to de google themselves And don't want to use Google authenticator?
Then use Authy and obviously delete your Gmail account, stop using a Google and CZcams.
I personally use Bitwarden subscription because it supports TOTP and 2FA with Passkey
But I have a de- googled phone and a burn phone
✨
Random words are very bad you should use all random number letters and symbols and make your pass word least 15-20 characters, all those random words are on password lists going around the internet.👍🏽
Here's a hint....watch the video 😂
Three here.
respectable
I thought password managers arent that safe anymore!
Online ones aren’t. Ones that you keep only on your computer or on a portable device are safe.
Bummer! Liron, does this mean I have to change my password every 26tn years? Don't much care for that.
I TOOK ALL OF MY PASSWORDS OFF GOOGLE
You don't upload enough mate
