- Today we tour Costa Rica and the town of Puntarenas. We tour the jungle on hanging brides and took a boat tour to view crocodiles and other amazing fauna. We end our day with an amazing local meal and incredible dessert on the streets of Costa Rica. All the while our tour bus had no air conditioning! Overall we had a great time touring Costa Rica!

OMG for the bus situation! As someone that gets heat stroke, I'm so glad you had water and were able to open the window! I'm so sorry to hear that someone on the tour wasn't feeling well. It sounds like it was definitely not a tour for everyone. I have to say, I love the little nature segments that you're doing with the music behind, beautiful and relaxing! I had a busy couple of weeks, so I'm finally getting to watch this and that part was like a breath of fresh air! Guanacaste has it all. Remote beaches. Amazing wildlife literally outside your window. Whales with their young. Take trips booked with the locals. Our white water rafting was amazing. Just my daughter and I with a local guide. They share their homes and you see the real beauty. I've been to both coasts. Northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica is definitely more diverse. We had a 13 hour flight from UK but still rebooked to go back 2 years later. So much to see. 😍😍

The bus should have water for you. Most excursions have it. Glad you are okay. We come from the heat so we understand. Make sure you put some electrolytes in your water. It is something we always have on trips. Keep having fun.

Very interesting tour but I would never have made it with no a/c on the bus and then walking over the bridges.
Yes, the air conditioning or lack of was a problem. But there’s always plenty of other things to do than walking over the bridges.😀

We have spent a lot of time in Costa Rica. One of our favorite places! Lots of things to do in different parts of the country. I tend to suffer from heat stroke and have found I need to take the small packets of electrolytes to add to those bottles of water. The cassada reminded me of the many we have enjoyed in those open air cantinas.

Beautiful videos!! I went to Costa Rica land only in 2017 to Tamarindo Beach, Monte Verde Cloud Forest and Arano Volcano lake. I also did a shore excursion off of a Panama Canal Cruise in Punta Arenas. Went to a spanish dresage stable and arena to see the wonderful horses and spanish riders. Great country!!

We did a cruise a few years ago that took us to Puerto Limon, Costa Rica. It was so dirty and poverty stricken. We took a tour out to a banana plantation and a river cruise where we saw sloths in the trees. That part was nice, but the port itself on the Caribbean side was, well, awful ... and sad.
There certainly are sad places all throughout the world. I understand.
Makes me nervous just watching the tour. Not an excursion for me.

That was a great video, beautiful country! I usually have a cup that keeps things hot or cold, and have ice cubes, small washcloth plus a few bottles of water when I know I’ll be in the heat and humidity. I’m one that knows my body and tries to be prepared too! Glad the lady recovered and was able to rejoin the fun activities! Thanks for sharing

We just returned from a Panama Canal Cruise with a stop in Puntarenas.
I managed to spend a few $$$$ at El Jardin. 😊
We had a great time, the country is beautiful and we met some nice people. But that heat!!!!
Although it wasn’t as bad as Colombia or Panama is was still unbearable for this Los Angeles native. 😅
Oh we understand. There have been some places where the heat has been almost unbearable as well.

Us as well, that's certainly a come back place. We had a wonderful day. The biggest thing with our cruise is we get such a short time in each place. But that just makes it even better to come back

Me and my wife (mid 50s) are from Sweden and have been cruising with both RCCL and Celebrity for 20 years now. We would have loved to be on this fantastic cruise but since we are both still working it was not possible at this time. Therefore we are very grateful that you share your experience and give us a lite insight of this world cruise. We very much appreciate both your nice videos and photos but also your stories and honest opinions of all your experiences from the ports and the cruise. We really hope that RCCL or Celebrity decides to do another World Cruise in 2-4 years and then we will definitely go. Please continue posting new videos and we wish you a contiuned wonderful cruise. Yes, the crocodiles were a little creepy but we felt safe on the boat.
Your bus in Costa Rica looked fairly new. Just wondering, did anyone ask the driver/guide to turn on the AC? If I were in your place, I would have been super bitchy in that hot bus. Since I’m a wimp with temps, I would avoid that tour like the plague.
Oh, yes. He was trying to turn on the air conditioner, but it just wasn’t working properly.

We just got back from our cruise and stopped at Puerto Limon on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. The scenery there was beautiful and so different from the Pacific side where you were! We are definitely considering a land trip to Costa Rica so we can experience more of that beautiful country and the amazing, friendly people who live there! Thanks for sharing your adventure!

We have one planned, and part of it is shot. The hard part is finding places and times that are not too busy. We don't want to disturb other passengers. So stay tuned. 😀

Curious how you tip guides?
We tip what we feel is appropriate for the length of time of the excursion. It also depends on the country. Some countries do not have a tipping culture.
@livingphase2 ..thank you..I agree but I should have been more specific. Do you tip in US dollars, local currency, which might be difficult due to the scope of your travels, or on CC..which might mean deciding on an amount prior to the excursion.
Why so far behind on posting videos? Your ship is at the end of it's Australia leg and you are just posting Costa Rica. You had a shout out from Tony at La Lido Loca early in your trip that shot your subscriptions into the 10;s of thousands. An opportunity to grow your channel quickly that you have not taken advantage of. It's a shame.
