- A weak Yen has helped Toyota earns huge profits in the July-September quarter this year. A turbocharged Toyota has also raised its outlook for 2023 after its car sales rose across the world. The world's top-selling automaker reported a record operating profit of 9.5 billion dollars in the quarter ending September. That was a 155.6% increase from a year earlier.
