On December 20 1968, teenagers David Faraday and Betty Lou Jensen were gunned down in the middle of the night on a deserted road in Benicia, California. Six months later, another young couple, Darlene Ferrin and Michael Mageau, were shot in a parking lot in nearby Vallejo. When an anonymous caller informed the police that he’d committed both attacks, the hunt was on.

Brilliantly detailed and presented. My internet connection was down over the weekend and I had to wait until today for this episode but it was worth the wait.
I wonder if DNA from restraints the killer used plus genetic genealogy could still be used to identify Zodiac or if the DNA is too degraded by now. Either way I hope he's rotting in hell. The malice he had for strangers who had done him no harm is incomprehensible.

I remember a guy in high school whose father owned to Levi stores in town. He purchased a shiny red 68 Charger for him. I went to a dance with him, got sick and proceeded to throw up in his car. I was mortified and he tried to play it off with little success. Beautiful car that commanded the road.
