► More information about the Age of Justinian!
The year is 555AD. The aged and declining Justinian is nearing the end of his reign. Constantinople has reclaimed several provinces of the old Western Roman Empire and finally defeated the Ostrogoths in Italy. Yet there still remains so much to do. The new provinces are turbulent and rebellion threatens to break out. Exhausted Roman military strength must be rebuilt. The war with the Visigoths continues in Hispania, and new and familiar enemies gather along the vast and overextended frontiers.
► On this Simpzy Total War channel I make gaming videos on Total War Historical and Fantasy Campaigns and Battles, Hearts of Iron 4, Mount & Blade II Bannerlord, Paradox Interactive games, mostly gaming, and more!
#TotalWar #Justinian #Byzantine - Hry
46:44 "I´m also sending Belisarius west."
A sentence that can cheer me up any day of the week. You know you´re a true Roman patriot when you are nostalgic for events that happened almost one and a half millenia before your birth.
Adopt Belisarius. Rome needs true Romans
Justinian actually did this in an alternate timeline. They’re still going strong, I like to think.
Have your son adopt belisarius!
Bloody love this. Don't skip too much of the micromanaging, we all LOVE total war and that's part of it 😍 looking forward to seeing which of the AI makes a play against you... I want to see DRAMA!!!!
I advise you to colonize those empty provinces in Italy, as they could come in handy.....not to mention that leaving them abandoned creates a sort of border-gore.
You know you have to follow advice when it comes from the man, the myth, the legend himself.
Lmao i made a gamer move and bring all mh armies to spain and effectively abandoning every single peovince except for spain, that ended up conquering the whole world but before that i had a massive campaing agaisnt tbe danes, the slavs and the sassanids
@@22metrid That's quite literally a gamer move! I prefer to play more historically since otherwise I feel like it doesn't really matter what my faction is, it's just a certain combination of armies and money you shuffle around. Historical goals give me some kind of purpose in what I do :)
Number of starting settlements [NICE]
I was searching for this a while back but couldn't find anything good but now am sure this will be nice
This mod gets featured very rarely, there hasn't really been anything since this campaign on CZcams at all. It's weird as it's said to be very well made
In Total War, you can make Justinian the Great
In real history, Justinian wasn't exactly "Great"
Some historians, scholars, and elements of the public think he was, BUT unfortunately he was a "successful failure" if you dig deeper into his record since the Nika Riots
Depleting Anastasius's surplus, destroying almost all the Italian economy through subjecting it to a never-ending war (not giving Belusarius reliable reinforcements), and, of course, Nika riots.
1:52 Mighty Last Roman General - Belisarius
OMG bro loved the intro.
The duchies of Aquitaine and of Neustria and Burgundy are swapped in the map but other than that it sure looks like a great mod
Justinian already gave the first steps in the right directions, now its just need to keep the Roman dream alive!
Love to see someone making decent videos on this mod!
Do more campaigns like this late rome is amazing
YESSSSSSS keep up the good work mate!
Thanks! Will do!
Justinian aka Justinianus was his real name. His full name was:
Flavius Petrus Sabbatius Iustinianus.
That is an 'i' in Iustinianus, by the way, not L.
After becoming Emperor, he added "Imperator Caesar Augustus" to his name, as all Roman Emperors did since Augustus, so his name became:
Imperator Caesar Flavius Petrus Sabbatius Iustinianus Augustus.
It shouldve started either after the Nikae riots, or the battle for Dara,.
Also keep all your puppets and allies, very useful buffers. Try and make alliances with the Roman remnants in Iberia and Africa to form a power bloc against the Visigoths
This is going to be great.
Was that anime ERE theme with cruel angels thesis actually part of the mod?
It's very weird because last few days I am searching for a exact same campaign and here it is. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!"And of course the Byzantine empire in your hands will make a great campaign.
Welcome aboard!
Nice game, you should always assign the governors first, than you can give an office also in first turn. Regards Anisvara
Read, Count Belisarius by Robert Graves
adopt him,but keep blood heirness
This mod looks amazing
Based and Christpilled
Nice campaign
I like to see you playing eastern roman empire 😉
Up the simpzy 👍🎉
If Melania Trump had skills and teeth, she'd become Empress Theodora.
ALSO fun fact - although the Black and White Huns had mostly burned out by the time of this mod, northwestern India was still under Hunnic control.
The people of Rajasthan are said to be descended from them.
Who made the intro video? Like the actual one for the campaign
Im doing this very Mod right now! Im Corduba and my GOD are they hard lol
Justinians father wasnt emperor his uncle was :D
Emperor Justin legally adopted his nephew Peter Sabbatius as a son. Peter changed his name to “Justinian” to honour his uncle.
Total war Attila!!!
Very Good vid
thanks
Flavius Belisarius! The fucking man!!!
nice bro
Thanks
Pro tip: avoid spending money, let the magic of compound interest do it's work
Would be nice if Belisarius was made the heir. 😃
If only cavalry archers had the charge bonus of a man mounted on a horse (like how the DeI team balances his game) they would be as terrifying as the historical sources say
wdym? theres shitloads of cav archers wtih more than decent melee stats... just use those who can fight up close :D horses also need to be intensively trained for charging through group of armed dudes . I think horse archers can be borderline OP if you use tham well.
The wife is a goldigger, there ain’t no love between them two lol
优秀
Wtf, is that the anime Byzantine intro?
It’s amazing wdym
Its a meme
Here is the full video czcams.com/video/QRRQQVK6nV8/video.html
