âș More information about the Age of Justinian!
The year is 555AD. The aged and declining Justinian is nearing the end of his reign. Constantinople has reclaimed several provinces of the old Western Roman Empire and finally defeated the Ostrogoths in Italy. Yet there still remains so much to do. The new provinces are turbulent and rebellion threatens to break out. Exhausted Roman military strength must be rebuilt. The war with the Visigoths continues in Hispania, and new and familiar enemies gather along the vast and overextended frontiers.

#TotalWar #Justinian #Byzantine - Hry
My God, this is gonna become my favourite Total War Attila series ever!
Yes
But you saw your own death? Not disturbed???
will you do another Byzantine Campaign in 1212 AD? Things have changed so much since you last did the original campaign
The naval defeat you are referring to happened under emperor Basiliscus in the late 5th century not far from where you lost your ships. Justinian though generally performed well on the seas, denying the Goths their bid for naval dominance, and that was the case for the Byzantine navy for centuries to come, which scored some pretty stunning victories.
I do really like the sieges in Attila/Britannia. Theyâre so good.
Also this Spain totally looks better than the Peninsular War Spain đ
I have been playing this mod for a couple of weeks. About 230 turns in as the Britaini. Took over 100 turns to take over the U.K. In the NW of France now. The AI seems pretty good. The tactics it uses seem logical. The enemy armies are very good. If you make a mistake you will pay.
I've been so excited for ep.2... It's been a while since I felt this excited about TW let's play :) please don't skip too much, Simpzy. I love to see your experience of the MODS :)
Dude that 2 battle was really close one.
Dude just want to day that. You can try Rome 2 Grand campaign. It will be great fun to watch bro. What do you think bro ?? And really enjoying this campaign.
great campaign !
Good job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Da Byzantines!!

Your archers would have been better used trying to sink enemy ships to prevent renforcements
You need to take more advantage of your charges man. Leaving your infantry just standing still to take the enemy charge is detrimental. Do counter charges against them.unless you're using pikes/phalanxes.
Your axemen and swordsman get a lot better use from charges.
Not first
One of the best mods for Attila, probably the best, excluding total overhauls like MK and AE. But the problem is starting date, it would be far more interesting to start at the beginning of Justinian rule. Or for example in 600AD(there are other mods starting in 527 and 634, 642, but they are not as good as this, vanilla units etc).
Unfortunately you start with 1/4 of the map under your control (the best part of the map bwt). Other factions are not particularly interesting either, too early for Vikings, too early for Arabs, perhaps even for Frankish empire. Sassanids? bah.
There is a point in the mod faq about this :
2. Why did you choose the start date? Why not 527AD at the beginning of Justinian's reign?
A. There is already a fine mod in the workshop (Dark Ages: Age of Justinian) and a DLC (The Last Roman) which cover the early period of Justinian's reign. This mod picks up at the conclusion of the Roman reconquest of Italy. It gives you the chance to continue Justinian's work and reclaim the whole Western Roman Empire. The mid 6th century was also a period of great turbulence in the Steppes, in the Merovingian Empire, in the east, and elsewhere, presenting a variety of interesting campaign scenarios.
But i agree with you on some points , some factions are not really interesting but still a great mod
Rip
play hoi4 game of thrones mod
there is a supmod
For some reason this mod will not play on my Steam account! đ«
