Magic winning a high school, NCAA college and NBA championship all by the time he was 20 years old. Greatness.
And mvp too
He had great teammates to do these things
And could realistically have won four Olympic gold medals if not for the 1980 boycott and the longtime ban on pro athletes.
@@jared2433 : Nah. Except for Kareem, he made those players better.
I’ll tell you what Magic didn’t do: go around arranging for his favorite players to become his teammates, get coaches and executives forced out, run away from the opposing team’s’ best players/scorers during the final minutes of games (knowing they were about to take the game-winning shots), and whine or run away like a little cissy when the media asked tough questions.
But there’s a current so-called superstar who does ALL of that! Can you guess who?

He really didnt deserve it as much as Kareem (33p 15r) but the media didnt wanna give it to the guy who was out ESPECIALLY because Magic loved the media and Kareem hated it.
Ryan Sansaricq I agreed. Magic carried the team in the last game, but the award was Kareem's right. He was the best in the final series.

Magic Johnson is 6 feet 9 inch tall who plays on point guard position.
If opponent PG guard him, it will be mismatch because of height advantage. They don't know how to block him. The only chance is steal his ball, or double-teamed him. Alas, his vision and passing skill are extraordinary. All i can say is, he breaks the game 'rule'.
Magic is also able to use his body power against smaller guard player during full-court fastbreak plays; and in half-court plays, he possess babyhook skill to do unblockable shots.

Jason kid maybe the best inch per inch point guard ever
My all time favorite! You know what made Magic and Bird great, Their ability to pass the ball. A true leader leads and is selfless.
Never really looked into magic Johnson, just got curious after the HBO series. This guy was really amazing
There will never be another befrienemy rivalry that Magic and Bird had in the NBA!! NBA's Godfathers!!
cause they all want to play on the same team lol
Imagine how fun it would be to play with magic
He's like a Magician. Incredible!!
Love watching him run the break. So fluid.
